Part 9

Vicky and Neha were now sitting together and really happy that their plan was successful and knew that soon Kriya and Rey would get together.

"Vicky! Let us also try for Goa" Neha spoke up looking at the huge crowd getting themselves registered.

"Neha, Kriya and Rey ko jeetne dete hain na. Agar hum donon jayenge toh obviously jeet jayenge. Let's give them a chance." he replied sheepishly.

Neha rolled her eyes.

"Mujhe Goa jana hai"

"Vo toh hum waise bhi jaa sakte hain!" he answered while showing her the tickets.

"Wow! Hum dono ki tickets for Goa!" she said excitedly and hugged Vicky.

About 10 couples had got themselves registered including Rey and Kriya.

"So, guys and girls, we are glad to get such a good response!" the host came in.

"Well, we have some new rules to make this more interesting." he continued.

"Rule 1: Your performance should include at least two lifts.

Rule 2: Throughout the performance you cannot leave your partner. I mean your body should always be in contact with your partner; using hands or a touch by your legs. But there shouldn't be any moment when you aren't in contact with each other.

Now, all the best to all the contestants!"

"So, you wanted to say something?" Kriya spoke up when they were waiting for their performance.

"Abhi nahi. After we win this competition." he replied.

"You seem too sure that we'll win this."

"Ofcourse! Mere saath tum jo ho." he smiled.

"Best Choreographer!" he smirked while she just looked away not letting him see her expressions.

"Ok, so let's decide how we are going to perform." she spoke after brief moments of silence.

They discussed and practiced some moves and lifts until their name was called out.

Neha and Vicky came up to them, wishing them luck and then took the table right in front of the stage to have the best view.

"Rey, throughout the performance, just look at me and follow my moves. I am sure you will be able to do it easily and just take care that we are always in contact." Kriya explained.

"Ok mam!" Rey chuckled.

"All the best!" she said while giving him a side hug.

"All the best to you too!" he smiled and gave her a warm kiss on the cheeks.

Kriya didn't know why but she felt different this time. Rey had kissed her that way a number of times. But, today it felt different, it felt more lovable. She didn't realize that she was actually blushing and this didn't go unnoticed by Rey who just grinned.

A song started playing; the flashlight was on the two of them. The moment Kriya looked into his eyes and started the performance, it felt as if everything was perfect. Everything was going on well; each and every move seemed to be well synchronized. They appeared to have a connection.

Throughout the performance, she was gazing in those eyes; exploring herself. They came closer and when he moved his hands on her body; it felt magical. She was amazed to see how effortlessly he could lift her up. He was definitely strong. The performance continued, they ran into each other's arms and then separated but still didn't lose the contact.

Finally, they ended their routine. The lights dimmed and everyone was clapping and cheering for them. However, for the ones for whom the applause was being given were lost in their own world. They were still resting in their final position, in each other's arms and contemplating those eyes.

"I love you Rey!" Kriya whispered not loud enough for anyone to hear; maybe he heard it, maybe not.

After their performance, a number of acts followed. Some were quite good but some not even worth a watch. However, one act remained special and spectacular in the audience's memory. It was of Rey and Kriya who were the clear winner.

"Ok, so guys and girls, the winner of the competition, 'Dance your way to Goa' is" the host came in.

The entire crowd was cheering for Kriya and Reyaansh and Vicky and Neha were far more enthusiastic.

"It is Kriya and Reyaansh!" the host announced.

Kriya instantly hugged Rey in excitement.

"I was sure we would win!" he said.

They took the prize, two tickets for Goa and a memento from the organizers. A huge crowd encircled and congratulated them. Vicky and Neha were demanding a huge party and Rey and Kriya were just enjoying this moment of ecstasy.

"Where is Rey?" Kriya asked Vicky and Neha when she couldn't find him anywhere.

Just then she received a text message. It was from Rey.

Come outside. I am waiting for you.

Kriya smiled and moved out. Vicky and Neha didn't have to ask her anything. They could easily judge what was going to come up.

Kriya came outside and there she saw him; standing right beside his car.

He opened the passenger's door for her and she quickly climbed in.

Rey started driving silently, his one hand on the steering and one holding her.

"Where are we going?" Kriya spoke up after brief moments of silence.

He brought her hand up to his lips and placed a gentle kiss on it and answered.

"Somewhere, where it is much more peaceful."

Finally, he stopped the car after about 20 minutes long drive. They came out; there wasn't a single soul. It was very quiet.

After exchanging some awkward glances for how to start a conversation, Rey finally spoke up.

"Kriya, ever since you have come in my life, it feels as if everything has changed; I have changed. No other girl could affect me to such an extent. You being around always felt good. I just can't imagine life without you."

He took a pause studying her reaction. She smiled and listened to every word attentively.

He comes closer to her and holds her hands.

"I love you Kriya!"

He finally said those three magical words and was awaiting her response.

"I love you too!" she replied with a huge smile on her face.

Those words were like music to his ears.

He immediately engulfed her in a tight embrace and she hugged him back; resting her head on his shoulders.

She comes out of the embrace and looks back at him.

Rey moves closer to her, bringing his lips closer to hers. She immediately closes her eyes; surrendering herself.

He moves his mouth slowly towards her and kisses her lightly on the lips. He moves back but she holds him back and moves her lips on his.

They move back after a long smooch to catch their breath.

"Rey, Will you be mine?" Kriya asks him.

"On one condition"

"What is it?"

"Promise me you won't leave me if I have a bad haircut!" he chuckled.

"I promise. I will never leave you." she replied meaning every word she said.

She came closer to him and engulfed him in another long smooch.

I had initially planned the story till this chapter only. But now since it has been converted into a FF, so I have a new theme in mind and an introduction to it will be posted soon.
