With that said, she was trying to walk off when Shyam forcefully grabbed her arms, and pulled her back into him. That was the peak of Arnav's anger! He swung the door open so harshly that when it swayed back, it made a harsh noise as though the glass got cracked. He wanted to beat the crap out Shyam just like that broken glass. Arnav sharply yelled, "SHYAM!!"

Shyam's eyes quickly turned to Arnav and he became aware of his hands on Khushi. He quickly changed the position of his hands in a defending stand to make it look like as though Khushi was the one forcing on him and he began, "Yeh aap kya kar rahi hai Khushi ji? Hum Rani Sahiba ko dhoka nahi dhe sakte! Hum Rani Sahiba ko bohot sara pyaar karte hai! Khushi ji aap'"

When Shyam saw Arnav walking towards them in his peripheral vision, he hurriedly turned towards him with his hands still on Khushi so that he could clearly make it look like he was merely a victim of Khushi. "Saale Sahaab' yeh' Khushi ji hamare' saath'" he continued to stammer until Arnav walked up to Khushi and grabed her hand so that she slammed on to his chest. Shyam had to let go cuz Arnav's pull was much stronger.

Arnav gazed at Khushi's face, who was almost on the verge of breaking down. He saw her eyes filled with tears, threatening to drip down any moment. He was beyond hurt looking at her, cuz despite knowing the fact that she was not guilty and still child like, he hurt her; beyond what words could describe! In the past 6 months, she had forgotten the meaning of happiness, the feeling of being in joy. The fact that he was the cause of it broke him even more. At that very moment he promised to himself that he will spend the rest of his life repenting for his mistakes; for the brutal life he gave her' purposely.

As soon as she slammed on to his chest, she looked up to him in his eyes. Arnav slid his hands around her shoulder and held her closer to him. She felt secure, looking at him, being in his arms. Arnav brought his other hand closer to her face and caressed her cheek very softly and whispered, "I'm sorry!" All he could think about was making up to her; tell her how guilty and sorry he was for hurting her! He wanted to beg for forgiveness. Her face was drowned in pain and he just wanted to stand there with her, assure that everything is going to be awright! He will make sure everything is awright actually' and the presence of Shyam? To hell with it!! Who cares about him? They surely didn't! Shyam meant nothing to them! He wasn't someone to be even worth remembered, addressed or someone worthy spending times in thoughts! While Arnav continued to caress her cheek, Khushi blinked with his soft touch which brought the tears from her eyes streaming down her cheek. He brushed it off softly with his thumb and whispered to her again, "I'm sorry! I am really sorry Khushi!"

Arnav was completely raged about the fact that Shyam caused all these misunderstanding between them besides cheating on his di. He knew Shyam was a bas***d but that word was just too good to describe him! Something utterly filthy was needed to describe him now; Arnav was beyond disgusted.

He then looked up at Shyam with so much outrage that he just wanted to destroy him into nothing. His body stiffened, his teeth clenched in fury, lips curling in disgust and more. Every cell in his body was throbbing with ferocity; a person like him, someone of this filthy nature was not worthy of any existence. He loosened his grip on Khushi and walked slowly and stiffly towards Shyam.

Seeing Arnav proceed towards him, Shyam quickly rambled his mind for some sort of plan. He then swiftly began his stammering once again, "Saale Sahaab' Khushi ji humare saath'" and even before he could finish, Arnav raised his hand and firmly swung it hard on his face. Shyam's hand involuntarily rose up to his cheek to hold his swollen side of his face. He felt as though all his veins were awakened with his slap and the blood was gushing to all parts of his cheek making it swell in red even more. One slap surely wasn't enough for him. Arnav definitely was not content.

Even before he could raise his fist again on him or even before he could begin to curse him, Arnav heard his di say, "chotey?" Arnav stood their blankly, glued to the ground, hearing his di's voice. A million questions were running in his head: Did di see me slap him? Did she see him with Khushi? How will I handle her? What will I tell her? How will she react? And the baby?

"chotey? Khushi ji? And you are also here? I've been looking for you all over the house' " Arnav's stream of thoughts were broken with the utterings of his sister. Anjali smiled at Shyam and walked up to him to hold his arms. She then continued, "You promised to not leave me alone'" Shyam swiftly made Anajali face him, and held her by her shoulders and said, "Rani sahiba, I was just talking with Saale Sahaab and Khu'" Arnav interrupted and said, "Di, koi baat nahi. Jeejaji will join you soon. Di, I think you should go rest now' you have had a long day" Anjali smiled at his concerned brother and said, "theek hai, aap log dinner par jaldi a'o." With that said, she limped down with a smile.

As soon as Anjali left the room, Arnav turned towards Shyam and in a hatred filled tone he said "Jo bhi khushi ne kaha, maine sab sun liya, aur job hi tum ne Khushi ke saath ab kiya, mein sab dekh chuki hoon' tumko aur naatak karna zaroori nahi'" Shyam was scared but he tried not to show it. He was not scared of Arnav; when he knew that he was going to go to any extent to have Khushi, he didn't bother about Arnav at all! He just want Khushi because his craving for her was beyond imaginations so therefore he was prepared to face anything. Shyam's main concern was to maintain his good name with Rani Sahiba so that he can get his plan accomplished without any obstacle or difficulty.

Interrupting Shyam's ignorant thoughts, with his teeth tightly gritted and fist clenched, Arnav said, "Don't you even dare to twist and turn matters! I have seen everything with my own eyes and heard all your bullshit with my own ears so, don't even dare! Just feel greatful that I am in agony just seeing you existence because of which you are standing alive in front of me! If not' *clenches teeth even harder in anger, frustration* 'My di trusted you and she still does, so much and look what you did' Even your breath is harmful on her!! Did you see how blindly she believes you? Don't you get too comfortable around in here Mister. Tumhara khel khatam ho chuka hai! And I now see you trying your dirty hands on games on Khushi' I am warning you; Khushi meri P-A-T-N-I hai; Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada! Uske aas paas bhi bhatak ne ki khoshish bhi mat karna! Don't you even dare Shyam Manohar Jha!!" With that said he walked out, carefully holding khushi around in his arms.

He was being very gently with her. For all the hurt and pain that he has caused her, he was being beyond tender with her. He knew that this was not going to make up for anything but he will atleast die trying.

Khushi was far more than what intoxication was. Even though Anjali instigated her to drink bhang, she consumed more and more just to forget all her sorrows and pain' atleast for one day, please?!

Arnav slowly made her sit on the bed' so caringly so affectionately. He knelt in front her and held her hand in hand so tight not wanting to let go; more obviously not wanting her to let go of him for everything he did, and he began whispering'.
