Chapter 5 ' Always with u

Samrat's POV

I sat on the stool beside the bed and held my mate's hand...it has been a week since i found her and she hadn't opened her eyes since then...every day and night i would just sit and stare at her waiting for her to open those beautiful black pearls and reward me with her smile...

I moved my hand towards her face and gently put the strands of hair behind her ears...my heart was aching with need...i needed her...she was my love..my life...my mate...she was MINE!!! Whenever i think about her condition and things that the doctor told me...i wanted to kill those people who tortured my mate so much...i would make all of them pay once my mate was by my side in full health...

I heard my mom call my name...i sighed and kissed my mate's forehead and went down...my mom gave me a small smile and i returned back a fake smile...only my mate could make me smile now...i was nothing without her...

"I have invited Benji, Nupur and Mayank...Sam its been a week since u have gone out...she will wake up son...but u cant close urself like this to the outer world...please go out with ur frnds for sometime."

I felt anger building up...how can my mom expect me to go out leaving my mate in such a condition...i wanted to be the first one who she would see when she wakes up...i wanted to hold her n comfort her and tell her m with her always...now and forever...no i wont go out...not until she is fine

"No mom!! M nt going"

"But Sam..."

"Please mom..ntn is gonna change my decision...m gng up to her...and plz don't call me until its absolutely necessary..and call my frnds and tell them not to come..."

Having said that...i moved towards my room to my mate...

I once again held her hand and started to speak to her...it was my daily routine now...i would talk to her and plead her to wake up and tell her how much i love her already...

"Hey beautiful...m back again...did u miss me?? U know mom called my friends and told me to go out with them...why doesn't she understand that i cant leave u like this...u noe how much i love u and care about u na...even she knows...then why?..anyway wake up soon darling...its been one week...please wake up...i love u jaan..."

I looked at her waiting for some response but i got nothing...tears welled up in my eyes...

"Baby please wake up...i promise no-one's gonna hurt u anymore...i wont let them...i will protect u from everything...just once wake up and talk to me..."

No response

I felt my heart shatter yet again

Why isn't mate responding?

My wolf asked me...even he was in pain...both of us already loved our mate soo much that it hurt seeing her lifeless..

"i dunno..."

Sing to her...maybe then she will respond

Sing?? Omg why hadn't i thought about it...i took my guitar and stood next to the window...thinking wat to play for her...

I started playing a tune...and slowly got to the lyrics...i closed my eyes and imagined my mate's smiling face

As soon as the song got over..I bent my head and let tears fall from my eyes...

I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw my mom looking at me with pain...I immediately hugged her from the waist and cried..

"Sam..." called my mother but I didn't move

"Sam look..she is moving"

I let go of my mom and looked at my mate...omg omg!! The song worked...she was stirring...like she was struggling to come back...i took hold of her hand

"Yes sweetheart...open ur eyes...comeon..."

And after few seconds i was staring into her black eyes...

Gunjan's POV

I heard someone sing beautifully...i could feel the pain and promise in the voice...who was it? Was he singing to me?? Or was i imagining stuff??

I tried moving but all i felt was pain...oh god!!!

I struggled to open my eyes...my wolf supported me..she said there was a force pulling her out...and just like that i opened my eyes and stared at a pair of dark chocolate brown eyes...

I tried to shift my gaze but i couldn't...i just kept looking at those eyes which showed care,hope, smile, n love...lots of love...

"Gorgeous.."

I heard the guy whisper...i slowly took in his appearance...he was handsome...he had a dimpled cheek...aww i soo wanna poke it and see how deep it is...my eyes checked out his body

WOAH!!! Even though he isn't muscular i could see his abs from his transparent shirt...he looked hot and cute at the same time...i wanted to hold him now!! I looked back at his face and saw him smirk...shit! did he catch me checking him out? I blushed and lowered my gaze...i heard chuckles all over the room...

I looked up and saw two other faces...one i remembered was the alpha whose pack i joined and the other i suppose was his mate by the way he held her possessively from the waist...omg so the guy i was just checking out was the son of the alpha?? W*F!!! GUNJAN CONTROL UR HORMONES AND UR EYES!!!

"umm...I..mm.."

I didn't know what to speak...

"whats ur name?" asked the alpha's son

I looked at him and instantly forgot the world

"Gunjan..."

"Gunjan..." he repeated and i could swear i hadn't loved my name so much before...the way he said it sounded magical and perfect

"Am Samrat...this is my mom and my dad whose the alpha"

I nodded at them and stared at the floor again...

There was a awkward silence...Samrat was staring at me in a weird way and his parents were having a silent conversation among them...i didn't noe what to do...

"we have to go for an important work...Gunjan take care of urself and if u need anything..tell Samrat...he will be here for u"

My eyes shot up...me alone with Samrat ?? omg!! Would he hurt me like my old pack members? I hope not! But what more could i expect...i was a waste piece...

Fear gripped my heart...i saw his parents leave and close the door behind them...i closed my eyes tightly..waiting for a harsh comment or some beating...but nothing came

"Open ur eyes.."

I heard him tell softly...his voice was gentle

I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him...he brought his hand to my face and i thought he was gonna slap me but instead he caressed my cheek and i felt shiver pass down my whole body..i looked at him in confusion...i never felt the sparks like this before...

"don't be confused sweetheart...we are mates..."

And with that he kissed my forehead...

We are what?? Mates?? Like srsly?

Yes gunjan..he is our mate...isnt he just adorable

I heard my she-wolf tell me...

No no no...there has to be some sort of a mistake...he was the future alpha...and am just a waste piece...m a nobody...everyone uses me as a punching bag...no there was a huge mistake

"NO!!"

I told him and his eyes looked at me in confusion..

"what?"

"NO! WE CANT BE MATES!"

"But..."

"No!! I refuse to believe...i mean look at u...ur an alpha and me...am just a nobody...no...fate wouldn't do this to u...u deserve better...i ...we...we..cant be...we cant be together...no.."

"Sh...shhh...quiet!! listen to me...GUNJAN LISTEN!!"

I immediately shut my rambling at his loud voice...oh god he is angry...now he will hit me...what to do?

I looked at him with fear in my eyes...he looked me and his expression softened..

He sighed and ran his fingers through his silky black hair..

I looked at him as he prepared to speak

"Look...i know u were treated badly by ur old pack...but ur not there anymore...they are just scumbags who needed someone to look down upon...look at me gunjan (i looked at him and he held my face)..ur the most beautiful girl i have ever met..i know u must be thinking i don't even know anything about u..but the first time u looked at me i fell in love with u...i know for sure ur beautiful inside n out...i trust fate and am sure ur the perfect match for me...please don't doubt urself or my love for u...we are meant to be...please just give us a chance...i promise u wont regret this...please gunjan...please love...just one chance...i need u...i want u...i love u...please sweetheart..."

His eyes were begging me to accept him...my she wolf was constantly telling me to believe...but i don't know...i wouldn't be able to handle another hurt...what if he leaves me? What if he finds someone better?.

What if this works out?

My wolf told me...

I and she began to have a heated discussion and she won...i finally gave in...i was ready to give him a chance cause i wouldn't be able to fight the fate so why not go with it

"okay.." i told him in a soft tone

"really?" he asked me in a unsure excited voice...

"Yea..." i told with a smile and saw his face lit up

Samrat's POV

Omg !! she said yes...yay!! my heart swelled with pride...

I knew she was still afraid of me...but this is the starting...i promise to make her fall in love with me...i promise to keep her safe...i promise to bring out the strong Gunjan and be by her side all the time...i promise to be hers and to make her mine.. now and forever...

I looked at her once again and smiled...

"Thank u sweetheart...i would never let u down...i promise"

She just smiled at me..i loved her smile...it was so beautiful just like her...

"Here take ur medicines and go back to sleep...the pack doctor will be here tomorrow to check upon u..."

"will u leave me n go?"

She asked me innocently with fear in her voice

"ofcourse not...but if u want me to go..."

"No...please stay...m afraid to be alone"

"Ur not alone...m always with u...in ur heart...i love u"

And with that i gave her her medicines and put her to bed...i stayed up all night and went through our little talk again...

I realised one thing

I had to give her back her confidence and i had to make her trust me...i had to love with all my heart and show my love to her...

My mission would start tomorrow...and i would make her feel safe and special...

My mate would be just mine very soon..
