Part 8

"Now I get it! Chi, chi, chi... hay Devi Maya" Kushi blurted out while they sat in the car. She had been pondering about what Arnav meant the night before. She couldn't sleep last night because of that and her pea sized brain couldn't think of the reason. Now after giving much thought to it she understood what he meant.

The only problem was that they were now sitting in a car full of people and she couldn't confront him' The "you go your way, I go my way" hadn't exactly worked out the way they wanted it to. The owners of the dhaba they stayed at the previous night were going to a small city close by and told the "newlyweds" to join them since their car had been stolen. They didn't have any other choice that to agree.

So here they sat in a small car with the owner of the dhaba, his wife and the waiter who turns out to be their youngest son. Driving to the small city which was supposed to be close by, but is nowhere to be seen even after driving for what seemed as a lifetime. Kushi had refused to sit with Arnav because he wouldn't talk and she was bored of not saying anything. She shook her head shocked with the peace of information she had gained.

"How dirty can a person get'hay devi mayya, on the first day." She said further totally unaware of the fact that she was thinking out loud.

"Bhabhi, what happened?" the owner asked still looking ahead.

"Ji, me and my HUSBAND have to get off here."

"You..what the.." Arnav said. Why was this creature hell bent on getting herself and him in trouble, it's not like he can leave her alone here.

"Yes, remember honey you said we would go for a walk on our honeymoon."

"In that case bhabi, the village is close by you can reach it after 30 mins by foot." The man said scratching his beard and pondering on about the odd couple in front of him. They claim to be newlyweds but still the romance was missing. He smiled at the mirror and stopped the car signaling them to get off.

"Thank you bhaia, we'll manage from here."

"Okay sasriya kal bhabi."

The white bug they had gotten off from had disappeared and Arnav was just staring at the road trying to make sense of what she had done. This girl is crazy, there is no end to her stupid deeds. Why do I have to keep meeting her???

"You pervert I understand what you ment last night."

"What the.. what did I say?"

"You know, after you danced with me' I know what you ment."

"Oh that' WAIT you got us off the car because of THAT?! Unbelievable."

"Chi, Chi, Chi' Are you gonna ask like you didn't do anything?"

"Look you'you creature, it's not my fault' you were seducing me dancing like that."

"Woooh..how was I seducing you?"

"Oh are you really gonna act that innocent?"

Kushi stood there with her cheeks turning crimson, thinking of how she was dancing on the bed. Hai rabba maybe me singing *ooh la la* while dancing wasn't making the situation better. How is that my fault that the song is EVERYWHERE these days'bade ayye.. blaming it all on me.. hmph. She concluded.

"Now what should we do..we don't even know where the village is, we have no money, no phones, no car and I'm stuck with you."

"Heey' It's not like I'm thrilled of being here with you either. Anyways they did tell us that the village is nearby."

" That's what they said when we left the God forsaken place *checks his watch* 20 minutes ago."

"Look Mr know-it-all, how about we walk until we find the village." There won't be a problem since the road only leads to one direction."

Arnav didn't bother to acknowledge her idea, he just started walking leaving her behind. After walking, the road got split to three different directions. Both stood studying the road not really sure of which way to go. There were only woods as far as the eye can see on all sides.

"What do we do now?" Kushi asked barely brave enough to take the last step to stand side by side with Kushi.

"I don't know, but one thing is for sure'All this has happened because of you..you creature."

"Stop calling me a creature, I have a name. It's Kushi Kumari Gupta."

"I don't care." Arnav said mad at the creature named Kushi, Kushi, how ironic because right from the start she has been the sours to his misery'Kushi my ass..he thought giving her one last look before continuing to walk straight ahead.
