CHAPTER 6 Part C2
The next morning Khushi wakes up only to realise she had over slept...
Khushi: (looking at her mobile)Hey Devi maiyya... 8:30 bajj gaye??
(Shocked ecpression... rushes and keeps murmering to herself ... )
Taiyyar rehna khushi ...Aaj toh mamiji tumhe chodengi nahin...pooja toh khatam bhi ho chuki hogi... (talks to herself while picking up the stuffs)patah nahin .. lagta hey .. sachme sanak gaye hey hum...
she steps inside the room ... and stumbles on something...
Arnav(cries in pain): 'what the'
khushi brings back the shocked expressions ... on finding arnav on the floor leaning on to the wall
Khushi: Aap? (confused looks) subah subah yeh aap aise zameen pe kyun lete hey? (with lighter expression on) oh aacha vyayam kar rahe honge...
Arnav(Agitated about his wife not even acknowleding the fact that he was kicked hard by her and that he is in pain.. just looks at her gritting his teeth)
Tumhe yeh main excercise karta hua lag raha hoon?
Khushi: (again confused look)Accha toh phir kya kar rahe they?! Hey bhagwaan palang se gir gaye kya? (points at the bed...increasing the intensity of confusion) eh... wahaaan se ulchalkar yahan aake gire?(waits for his to ans)
Arnav:(narrows his eyes) what? tum .. paaagal ho...)
Khushi making a perfect 'o' outta her mouth and stiifen up then realizing she is already late...
Khushi: Hey bhagwaan.. pehle se itni der ho gayee hey... aur hum yahaan aapki uchal khood ki kahaani leke baithe hey...hatiye... (runs to the bathroom)
Arnav: what? khushi... (shocked to see her run off without even bothering to ask him) poocha tak nahi? aur uchal khood? what the...
She comes out of the bathroom and does a bare minimum bit of make up .. hair etc and runs out
Arnav watches her in suprise ... and is abt to call but sees her running out already ...
He lets out a sigh and goes to the bathroom...

Later at the breakfast table...
Aakash : Bhai woh Nainital wale deal ke baare mein aapse kuch baat karni thi...
Arnav: oh haan... lets discuss it 1st things in the office...
Khushi comes out of the kitchen ... carrying the juice jug...
Arnav watches her and automatically a smile appears on his face...
Khushi feels the gust of wind and looks up at arnav... walks up to the table looks here and there .. places the jug on the table ... she could feel the gaze still on her ... looks at him and turns to go .. when
Anjali: arrey khushiji... kahan jaa rahee hey aap?
Khushi: Anjali ji woh...
Anjali: phirse anjaliji?raised her eyebrows
Khushi: ji di ... hum jiji ke saat...
Anajli: Aapke jiji ke saat hum baith jaayenge... aap pehle aakey naasta kar leejiye... kal raat ko bhi aapne aur chotte ne shradh ke wajah se kuch nahin khaya ... chaliye bhaith jaayiye...
Khushi looks surprised and looks at arnav who never looked away from her from the start...
He pulls the chair for her keeping the gaze on...
Khushi not having much say sits to have bfast...
They quickly finish...
Khushi gets up first and moves towards the kitchen...
Arnav feels a bit depressed watching her go...
Aakash: Bhai chaley?
Arnav: huh? (looks at aakash and thinking)umm.. aakash thodi der baad chaley? umm tum woh tab tak nainital waale deal ke papers taiyyar karna ...
Aakash looks confused .. and so does the rest of them present at the table...
Aakash: Woh toh maine already taiyyar kar liye bhai...
Arnav: (annoyed at his brother...with a half smile) toh aakash.. Aman se baat karko aur ask him to fix a meeting with nainital folks... (tries to indicate with his eyes pointing at the kitchen)
Aakash: ohhh.. ouh ... okie... ya right .. yes Bhai... we could go a little later... waise bhi meeting he toh hey...
Everyone is too confused to understand what was going on... so decided to pay no attention...
Arnav goes to the kitchen
Arnav: Kushi .. zara upar chalo.. mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hey...
Khushi turns to him... and simply follows him...

they reach the room ... and arnav waits for her to walk inside... and closes the door...
Khushi: kya hey?(with a cute frown)
Arnav smirks
Arnav: Khushi... woh kal...
Khushi(interupts shops his signal with her hand): dekhiye... mujhe aapke koi sawalon ka jawab nahi dene ...
Arnav not quite clear abt what sawal of his is she talking abt...
Khushi: hum yeh kangan isliye pehente hey kyunki .. Di ko bura na lage...(is about to conitnue talking more .. but stops looking at the expressions of arnav - eyeborws raised and the famous smirk)
Arnav: I see...
which is when she realises that she actually answered to him.. when she had claimed in the beginning that she would not...
Khushi: aa aap.. aise kya dekh rahe hey? hum sach keh rahe hey...
Arnav: maine toh kuch kaha hi nahin khushi...
khushi's expression is like a school kid being caught for a lie...
arnav continues to smirk...
Khushi(annoyed with it): Dekhiye jo bhi kehna hey .. jaldi kahiye.. hume aur bhi kaam hey...
Arnav(raised an eyebrow): Dont give me a time limit... Jab tak main na chahoon .. tum yahan se kahin nahin jaaogi...
Khushi(narrows her eyes and opens her mouth bringing her hands to her waist): arrey wah? warna kya karlo gey? aap hume aise jab chaahe jaise chaahe nachaa nahin sakte...(flaring her nose in anger and make a st line outta her lips)
Arnav:(gritts his teeth) Main kuch bhi kar sakta hoon.. aur yeh tum acchi tarah se jaanti ho...
Khushi: accha toh aapne hume yeh sab yaad dilane ke liye bulaya hey? toh karte rahiye abhyaas.. hum baad mein aakar su lenge... (turns to leave)
Arnav: Dont you move Khushi Arnav Singh Raizada .. Maine baat abhi shuru bhi nahin ki hey...
Khushi: accha toh ab kuch naya sa sunana hey kya? Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada .. hum aapse darte nahin hey .. aur hum jaa rahe hey...
Arnav: Tum yahan se nahin jaogi...
Khushi: (Folds her hand) and looks at him... accha aap rokenge hume?koi zabardasti hey(teasing him)
Arnav: zaroorat padi toh woh bhi karronga...
Khushi gets startled at his tone...
just then there is a knock at the door...
khushi turns around and opens it...
Anjali: Bhabhi... woh aapse kuch kaam tha .. zara neeche chalengi?
Khushi: Ji Di...
turns to look at arnav raising her eyebrows... and shrugs her shoulders.. smiles ... nods her head in a teasing manner
Khushi: Hum toh aapki baat sune bager hi jaa rahe hey Mr. Raizada... Rok sako toh rok lo... (smirks and then leaves..)
Arnav: What the...main kya kehna chahta tha.. aur isne... yeh mujhse kya kehalwa rahee hey...
Damn!!!(punches in the air) Hamesha kuch na kuch ... 4 din se ussey baat karne ki koshish kar raha hoon...
Then looks at the doorway with a determined look...
Arnav: KASR... baat toh tum meri zaroor manogi .. koi challenge kare .. aur ASR sirf dekta rehjaaye? i dont think so... aur yeh tumse zyada aur kaun jaanega...
(smiles to himself)

Aakash's Phone rings :
Aakash: Bhai Ka phone call? parrr...(all confused picks up the call)
Haan Bhai... aapne phone kyun kiya?(listens to him carefully)

Arnav comes down carrying his laptop bag... and stops in the lounge...looks at khushi..
who is still carrying the looks of ' See i won'... looks at him with a smirk ..
Arnav too smirks back.. and nods his head slightly... enough for bringing her smirk down and get alarmed ...
Aakash comes answering a phone call ... and looks worried ...
Aakash: (on the phone) .. No Aman... just wait .. main bhai se discuss karne ke baad tumhe inform karta hoon ki kya karne hey... okie bye.. (cuts the call)
Aakash: oh Bhai accha hua ki aap aagaye...
Arnav: Kya hua aakash.. is everything ok? (ensures eveyone's attention)
Aakash: Woh bhai... Aman ka phone tha... woh keh raha tha ki .. Nainital ke 'Kapoor and comp' waale yeh deal thabhi sign karenge jab hum unke baaki ke conditions bhi include karen...
Arnav: What?
Aakash: Haan Bhai.. i dont think this is working on our behalf... aise phone pe toh... bilkul nahin...
Arnav: i think you are right .. ab toh unse direclty jaake baat karni padegi... theek hey tum chal...
Aakash: Main?!? umm Nahin bhai... woh (he looks at Payal)
Arnav: (Follows his gaze) Fine toh payal ko bhi le jaana .. (payal looks up in shock)
Nani and Anjali too looks not convinced..
Nani: Chotte .. payal bitiya ki tabiyat abhi tak poori tarah se theek naahin hui ... toh aisan haalat ma.. hum inko Nanitaal ki thand main kaisan jaane de?
Anjali: Haan Chotte .. Nani bilkul theek keh rahe hey... payalji ka aise haalat mein .. theek nahin hoga...
Arnav: (turns back to Aaksh) Sorry Aakash.. lagta hey Payal joining you is anyways not a gud idea .. so i am afraid tumhe...
Aakash: nahin bhai... ab .. aap hi ney toh kaha.. payal ki tabiyat theek nahin.. toh main unhe chodke ??
aa aap kyon nahin chale jaate... aur haan Khushiji ko bhi saat mein le jaa sakte hey... aur khushi ji ki tabiyat toh bilkul theek hey ... hey na khushi bhabhi?
Khushi: ji????(shocked)
Anajali and nani both agree...
Arnav: theek hey .. agar sabki yahi marzi hey toh .. yahi sahee... (looks at Khushi.. with a raised eyebrow)
Khushi: nn nnnai nnai... hum!? hum wahan jaake kya karenge? hume nahi jaana... (and walks away from there ... )
Arnav and Aakash exchange looks and arnav follows her to the kitchen...
Arnav: Khushi...
Khushi turns to face him...
Khushi: yeh math samjhiyega .. ki hum jaante nahin ki yeh sab aapne jaan boojke karwayee hey...hume harane ke liye ...
Arnav smirks: chalo acchi baat hey... isse yeh toh patah chal gaya .. ki tumhara dimaag bhi kaam karta hey...
Khushi(angered expression): Aap...
Arnav: bas bas ... ab shuru math ho jaana... der ho rahee hey .. jaldi chalo...
Khushi: jaldi? kahan? aap kya samajh tey Mr. Raizada.. aapne kaha aur hum aapke peeche peeche chal denge... nahin kabhi nahin.. hum aapke saat nahin jaayenge...
Arnav: khushi mujhe force math karo ... warna...
Khushi:(that was enough to bring it on her) warna? warna kya karenge? phirse dhamki...?!? warna phir se jiji aur jijaji ko alag kar denge .. yaheen na? aapko jo karna hey kar leejiye .. hum iss baar nahin haarne wale...
Arnav watches her carefully...
Arnav: theek hey .. main iss baar aisa kuch nahin karoonga...balki mujhe kuch bhi karne ki zaroorat bhi nahin ... aur mere kuch na karne ke bawajoot tum khud mere saat chalne ke liye taiyyar rahogi...
Khushi: Ha (laughs) hum?!? apne aap taiyyar ho jayengey? kahee sapna toh nahi dekh rahe aap?
Arnav smirks: lagee sharth?
Khushi.. still not able to beleive his confidence.
Khushi: ha? kamaal hey aap... (seriously)theek hey lagee... (smiles at him with an expression as if she has already won)
Arnav walks out and calls out for HP ...
Arnav: HP... kamre se woh bags nikaal na...
He goes directly to the room...

Arnav walks in carrying his files and laptop...with HP following with bags... HP goes st. outside...
Arnav : Theek hey chaltey hain... aur pahunchey hi phone karoonga ...
Anjali: uh chotte... yaad hey na...jaate waqt mandir ho jaana... shradh toh kal hamare ghar pe na ho paaya.. par panditji ka daan dakshina toh iss ghar se dena padega...
Arnav: haan di yaad hey .. de doonga ...
Khushi comes back to the living room...
He takes leave from everyone and leaves .. he stops to look at khushi.. who is now floatin on 9th cloud abt winning the challenge already...
arnav smiles and just walks out...
Nani: Khushi bitiya... aap abhi tak yahee kadee kyun hey?
Khushi confused ..
Khushi: Nahi nani hum toh nahi jaa rahe...
Anjali: Par bhabhi... kyun nahin? shaadi ke baad yeh aapka pehla mauka hey kahin ghoom phir aane ka... aur chotte ka mann bhi wahan laga rahega.. warna akele wahan unko sirf aapki chinta mein, aur kaam pe bilkul dhyaan nahin rahega ... (giggles)
everyone laughs...
Khushi feels embarrassed and is about to speak ...
Shyam: jaane bhi dijiye Rani Sahiba... Ab khushiji ka mann nahin hey jaane ka ... toh kyun jaane ke liye keh rahee hey aap...
walks down the stairs with gaze fixed on Khushi... comes and stands almost close to her ... anjali smiles and stands next to him holding his arms...
Aur rahee baat unka khayal rakhne ka.. toh woh humpe chod deejiye.. (dirty smirk) anjali looks at him...
Shyam quickly changes his exprssion and corrects...
mera matlab hey... ab issey accha mauka aur kaha milega inki seva karne ki aur saale saab ko dikhane ki .. ki unke na hotey hue bhi hum khushiji ka khayal acchi tarah se rakh saktey hey...
(turns to khushi)hey na khushiji? Anjali nods and smiles at him...
khushi .. is lost in her thots... unable to beleive that this man could go beyond limits...her face fills up with fear...
without standing there any further ... she runs outside...
Khushi: (Screeming)Rukiyeee... rukiyeee ... rukiye arnavji...
gasping for air ... she comes to a halt on reaching the place where she sees Arnav very cooly waiting leaning near the passenger seat of his SUV... he smirks and opens the door for her...
Khushi just looks at him ... and says... hum abhi aatey hey... (turns to go )
Arnav: Khushi tumhare kapde pack ho chuke hey ... aur gaadi mein already rakh di gayee hey...
Khushi: Kya??(confused and shocked)
Arnav(gives a victorious smile): maine payal se kehkar tumhari kapdon ki packing karwaee...
Khushi(angered at the same time had no choice... pouts her mouth up and sits in the car... with a cute frown on her face...
Arnav watches her with amusement sitting in the driver seat ...and starts the engine...
