Part 46

A relief washed through her as she walked inside the dark room slowly walking towards Vini who lay weakly on the bed. Today was one of the day being a doctor she had had gone through one of most critical cases. Saving the precious life of Vini.. Shilpa set beside her slowly caressing the soft cheeks as her eyes grew misty. Such a small life was struggling every day to live among them. She bent down noticing the smile on her lips. This was the first time she was getting to see such a strong kid who knew to smile in pain.. Who knew such a small child can inspire to live.. She mumbled to herself staring deeply at the innocent beauty lying infront of her..
Few minutes passed by , Vini opened her eyes weakly and smiled as she noticed Shilpa who set beside her holding her hand. Shilpa smiled back to her and bent down.. " Hey Vini, How are you feeling now.. "
"I am good. Doctor can i tell you a secret.. " The weakness in her voice didint go unnoticed by Shilpa. " Tell me.. "
"You are very beautiful. I love your green eyes.. " Vini replied with her eyes filled with kindness. Shilpa could easy feel her pain. She could cleary see how this small girl was struggling to breath every single minute. It only made her feel more bad.. "Thats so sweet. And even you are such a cute girl. I would love to have a baby like you oneday.. "
"Really Doctor.. " Excitement grew in her eyes as she slowly blushed hearing the words.. Shilpa could only give a nod forcing a smile while trying her best not to cry infront of her..
"You know Doctor. I think my Dad is really missing me.. " Vini's face sobered as she whispered sadly.. Shilpa tried to sooth her when she spoke quickly.. " I think Daddy is feeling alone in heaven. Maybe he wants me there with him. Thats why i am sick right.. ? " Vini spoke in a hopeful voice which only shattered Shilpa's heart. How was she supposed to explain to her about her sickness. She felt lost.
"I know i will go to Daddy soon. But then Mommy will miss me. Its ok Me and Daddy will together wait for her to come.. " Vini spoke smiling while staring up at the ceiling.. Shilpa bit her lip hard from crying , but tears welled up in her eyes as she recalled about her own parents. If she was a child maybe she also would have such dreams regarding them. Maybe she would also have such wishes. Tears fell from her eyes and this time she couldnt do much to control herself. Vini turned back to her frowning. She raised her hand and slowly ran on her cheeks.. " Why are you crying. Dont worry Doctor. If i go i will watch you from there. When i become a star even you can see me.. "
Shilpa slowly kissed her soft hand and held in tightly clearing her tears.."Nothing is going to happen to you. Nothing will happen to you Vini. Did you hear me. I wont let anything happen to you.."
Vini smiled widely, Shilpa couldnt help but return back a smile.. "Yes i know your daddy might be missing you. I am sure even my papa is missing me. But Vini Your Mommy is still here. She needs you. Do you think you should leave her all alone here.. ? "
Sadness formed in her eyes as she shook her head.. "No.. No i cant see her sad. I think Dad should wait.. "
Smiling down at her she placed a soft kiss on her cheek.. "Thats like a good girl. Now try to get some sleep "
Reluctantly she closed her eyes falling into deep slumber.. As Vini closed her eyes the smile faded off from her lips.. She had just gave confidence to the small child that she would live. But could she really guarantee for how many days she would live.. ? The thought of it only made her cry as she set on sofa leaning on it..

Tiredly rubbing his neck Armaan closed his cabin making his way to the private ward. After dealing with the critical case of Vini he had suggested Shilpa to observe the condition of Vini. And meantime he had locked himself in the cabin while making few calls to the senior surgeons discussing about the complicated case of Vini.. After an hour he was satisfied that finally they had come to a conclusion that she could be treated well if she was sent abroad. Satisfied with his work he made his way to Vini's room and stood infront of the door.. Taking a deep breath he walked inside to the dark room. His eyes first went on Vini who lay on the bed finally sleeping peacefully. After doing a check on her condition he turned around and noticed Shilpa who set in the Sofa staring at the space lost in her thoughts. With a sigh he walked upto her and set beside her in the Sofa.. "Shilpa.. Baby you need to go home now.. "
She blinked, and glanced at him blankly.. He waited for her to react but instead she set coolly and spoke flatly.. "No.. I am staying here.. "
He glanced away worried. This was something which always made him helpless. Trying to help people in bad situations was still something new to him. He didint knew how he was going to console her.. " Shilpa. Look i know you are going through a hard time. I know Vini means a lot to you and you really care.. " He tried to speak gently keeping himself calm but she interrupted his words coldly.. "No You dont Know.. "
"Excuse me " He muttered out confused and frowning on her weird behavior.. Shilpa set calm but seeing the stiffness in his arms he understood she was definitely in a bad mood..
"According to you i am a women you doesnt care for children. I am not someone who would understand how it is to have a child. As you said all i am is a so called carrier based women.. " She spoke sarcastically keeping her eyes fixed on Vini while she spilled out her frustration silently..
Armaan felt like slapped for a moment as she threw his words back at him rudely. But he couldnt argue about it. Knowing he was the one responsible for this tension he kept silent feeling the guilt rise in him..
Shilpa cried softly and glanced back at him with tears. He cringed inwardly seeing the pain in her eyes. He clenched his fist as he grew ashamed of his arrogance.. There was a hint of desperation he noticed as she spoke in a chocked voice.. " Look at the kid lying there.. I want a girl like her oneday. Someone who is beautiful and innocent just like her. A child whom i can keep close to me every single moment. What makes you think i would be a carrier based women who doesnt have any interest of being a mother. How can be reach onto conclusions like that Armaan.. "
Her words felt accused.. As her words hit him hard he had realized something for the first time in life. His arrogance and ego was something which was ruining their relationship at the moment. He kept staring down with shame filled in his eyes..
Shilpa sniffed staring at him knowing he was finally understanding what she was trying to tell. For once he was silently listening and letting her speak what she want. She didint want to ruin the moment. Keeping aside her own pride and attitude she held his hand and spoke softly.. "You need to understand me Armaan. For once see from my point of view. What i feel. Its not only you who wants a baby. I myself want to be a carry your child. But with that you need to remember how much in life i have scarified to become a doctor. All i am saying is give me sometime to make my sacrifices worth enough. Dont make me let it go in waste. But still if you feel i am being selfish by not having a baby, i am ready to give even now.."
Suddenly everything started to hit him nicely as finally he realized what she was trying to say all these days. She wants being selfish not to have a baby, all she was saying to give sometime for their relationship. How come he had grown so stupid to jump on conclusions. He gripped her hand and let out a heavy sigh not daring to see her eyes.. "I am Sorry. Deeply sorry for being a jerk.. " That was all he could bring up to say at the moment. Shilpa gave a curt nod , it was brief and short but still she understood he had meant it.. Getting tired and feeling exhausted she leaned down on him as he took her into his embrace.. Shilpa felt her eyes grow misty again as she stared at Vini.. " She is so innocent. I cant see her die. I dont want anyone else to die on me "
He glanced at Vini himself feeling the emotions rise within heart.. Rubbing her arms he kissed her forehead speaking in a strong voice.. " She would be all fine. Nothing will happen to her. We wont let anything happen to her.."

"Ohhh " She moaned softly feeling his wets lips touch on her collarbone , slowly nibbling her soft skin.. She trembled clutching on his bare shoulder as she leaned forward trying to find his lips to kiss him hard. As if he had felt her intentions he crushed down his lips on hers hungrily teasing her bad using his tongue. Was this a dream ? If this was a dream this was definitely the best dream she was seeing right now. Or rather feeling it well. She sighed blissfully as he got away from her , a mild protest escaped from her lips but everything felt fogged. Why was she not able to open her eyes. And then she gasped as she felt being pulled on his lap. Instead of staring in his deep blue eyes which she knew might be shining in the moonlight , her head hit on his shoulder as she took a deep sigh as if she was in a deep slumber. Was this really happening in a dream. Why was she not able to open her eyes and see what was happening. Whatever. She could care less since she kept feeling the passionate caress from him on her bare body. Ohh she was naked was she. Now what type of dream was this supposed to be ? Slowly in the deep fog she felt him give a nudge on shoulder, his deep voice hit on her ears which came soft but still she couldnt manage to open her eyes.. "Wake up Darling.. "
"Mmhhh " That was the only protest which came from her lips as she hid her head on the crook of his neck. Where was this dream heading to now.
"Shilpa, Wake up right now orelse.. " His voice faded off again as she felt herself drowning into darkness. And then she hissed in pain as she felt his not so tight grip on her hair, his hot breath hit on her lips which only made her lips tremble with excitement.. "So you are not going to wake are you.. " Again his voice came soft , for a moment she wondered why he was talking so soft. He was definitely not in a gentle mood which she had understood by his actions... A soft moan escaped from her as he caressed her ear lope gently teasing it with his lips. Letting out a raspy breath he gave a final nudge and spoke in a tight voice which again came soft to her.."Wake or not awake, we are doing this.. "
They both fell on the bed hard breathing hard..She tried to open her eyes but then gave up mentally scolding herself it was just a dream.A very very hot dream. He lips and arms were everywhere, she couldnt clearly understand due to the fog but she new she was feeling good as he made passionate love to her. Definitely this was feeling real. Way too real. But it didint bother her as she consoled herself knowing it was a dream. Probably a dream which would make her blush the entire day. Would be listed under her one of wildest dream. She didint realize how much time they had spent clinging together but as he fell on his side softly pulling her close showering light kisses on her forehead, she felt like a real tiredness in her body.She felt him brush away few strands of hair clinging to her face, softly murmuring words which didint come clear enough to her..As he held her close she wondered through her dream.. Wasnt this supposed to be a dream. Things felt too real. She felt the passion the soreness the tiredness.. Ohh this was definitely a good dream. It was..

Armaan : Ohh Come on I dont know what you are talking about..
Shilpa : You better stop acting innocent Mallik.
Armaan : Stop make a fuss out of this. You are my wife not someone else's
Shilpa : For godsake I WAS SLEEPING !
Armaan : Ahh well I know.. I mean.. I was
Shilpa : Wait a minute.. Where is my dress.. ?
Armaan : Must be here somewhere lying on floor
Shilpa : Ohh no no.. Not lying here somewhere. Where the hell is my dress
Armaan : I dont know. I was in hurry getting you out of it. Maybe in hurry when i threw it off.. Maybe. you know.. Out of window...
Shilpa : YOU WHAT !!

Hey Aishy...Thanks for updating my monster...I just love the update to the core...Feeling so bad for Vini..hope she will soon recovered from her disease..Love ArSh talk regarding their problems...And That moment is a dream or what?.
