Amazing! I read this all in one go...can't wait to read your next update!!!!!!
"Your" characters are great, and the writing makes me feel different emotions towards the different characters, regardless of my opinion of them on the show.
Except for La's character...in all the shows that I've watched, usually the girl kicked aside would be in sorrow and kill herself or something, or try to get the guy back; but in IPKKND, La did neither, picked up her bags, and left, hinting to Khushi that she and Arnav, his ex-fiance, love each other. Her character was didactic for all the "thrown aside" girls, and I liked that about her...she was a true friend. However, in your story, you made her so impure, and though I know that you've tried to make the readers feel disdain towards her, I am just not feeling it - the influence from the show is far greater.
However, I am surprised that in your story, I actually like Anjali. I am a big Anjali hater - be it the show, or any fan fics (in fact, in my own writing - A New Desire - I'll have Anjali be a character who regrets her stupidness and blind love for the rest of her life, with no Chote to support her - I just want to see her suffer). This story made me forget my contempt towards the permanently torpor stage of Anjali, and actually see her as a strong (likable at least) woman. So you did a great job there!
Don't take my comments the wrong way...its just that when I post on IF, I am not only looking for appreciation, but also for ways to improve my writing. So far, all the comments I've received state the parts that they liked, or one sentence responses ("Update soon!"/"Loved it!"/"Fab!"), but nothing to pay attention to...I mean, yes, the comments do encourage me, but if they just wanted to write one sentence comments, then I would have been much better off with a Like...
Anyways, I thought that if I want people to comment, the not futile ones, then I should do it to others...So I don't mean to offend you in any way whatsoever.
Oh, and also, update soon!
