Gazing down he saw the wicker basket. He gently picked it took it inside ,shutting the door he placed the basket on the dining table in the living room. Immediately took off his overcoat and gloves . He was a lean and handsome man , probably 26-27 old.He then uncovered the basket he saw the wicker basket lined with pretty pink-and-white checked gingham ( plain-woven fabric ). In the basket a tiny baby lies fast asleep, her head gently resting on a lace pillow. He looked at this object in amazement. There was brownish scroll placed carefully in to the basket ,he gently pulls it out without disturbing the sweet slumber, unrolled it and began to read.

After reading his face was dumbstuck , then he looked at the baby and a smile broke on his face . He noticed something silvery thing stacked in the basket . He putforward his hand and removed it. He was holding a silver box ,not heavy as it seemed it weighs almost as feather contradicting its physical view.It was not a pure silver box but was but was a iron celtic with dragon carving on its top and carving at its side. While he was examining it he accidently pressed one of the jewel and the cover of the box slid instead of opening outwards.

A sort of silver chain rose from it yes rose from it by itself ,soon the entire object was levitating in front of his eye. It was a silver amulet with a silver pendant and a colourless gem was embeded in it .The gem was crystal clear like a pure drop of water. This silver emblem amulet was riddled with carvings. Someone with a lot of patience must have done the design. It almost seemed as a royal mirror miniature version just the difference was that instead of glass the colourless gem was embobied in it.

After a moment of gazing at the amulet , he thought something and he glanced at the scroll in his hand . He put the scroll down .Ascended his hand towards the levitating amulet and held it in his hand & moved towards the table, glanced at the most adorable , pure and blissful figure sleeping in the basket. He picked little jewel (i .e. Baby) wrapped in a little woolen blanket, in his arms carefully slids the amulet in her neck through her head instead of unblucking it and then putting it on .He cautiously tucks her in her basket. He looked at her skin, her hands. Very gently, he kissed her forehead. She smiled in her sleep. The amulet which was colourless earlier turned into glorious explosion of blue and mauve and lavender. A happy tear rolled down from his eye, he gently touched her cheek.

Suddenly he heard someone sauntering down the stairs . A woman showed up she was beautiful and elegant woman in her early 40's

He looked at her, she stared at the basket questioningly.She was gonna say something but he cuts her off . " I will explain everything later but first I m gonna get some milk and baby food for her" . He hastingly grabed the car keys and headed towards the door.The woman intruded him. He replied "Nivi di pls I told u naa I will tell u abt this later". She looked at him "I know raj but don't forget your to take over coat and gloves with you its freezing out there."He looks at her face and then peeks through the near by window by raising the curtain .He sees that the frost and snow were residing in his garden , there stood trees without leaves and shone with white shiny coating on it .They seemed sculpturs of shiny glasss due to the early sunrays . He gave a slight grin and turn towards her.. " thank u di for reminding me. Really its freezing out sides". He quickly donned the coat and gloves and gaited out of the door . Fired the engine of his car and took off.
