Lavanya was confused.
ASR could be so stubborn at times!But Lavanya knew that if there was anyone he loved more than her, it was his family. And so keeping that in mind she called Arsh.Hoping her seemingly perfect excuse would work like she thought it would.
''Lavanya,Hi!'' He said warmly as soon as he picked up the phone.
''Hi,Arsh !It's been so long since we last talked hasnt it?I figured you would never contact me so I had to make the first move didnt I?'' Lavanya said with a slightly teasing tone.
''What nonsense?It's you who never replies either on chat or when I call you,remember?A man like me would never be able to ignore a woman like you if she was interested...in contacting me that is .'' He replied flirtatiously.
''Hush!Have you no shame,Arsh?ASR would kill you if he heard you talking to me in that way .And besides I doubt you have time to think about woman who dont sleep with you-considering your...ehem..schedules?''
''I'm going to pretend you never said that.'' Arsh replied with a supposedly angry tone.
''Anyways,how's that new assistant of yours?Got her to sleep with you yet?''
If he did then Arnav would have his carcass hanging on the wall by midnight,Lavanya thought.
''No man ,not yet!She's as tough as they come and devastatingly innocent to top it all off!But she's in good hands and will be professionally trained before she knows it.''

But Lavanya had to play along .She should have known that a Raizada would be hard to crack.After all ASR had been too!True,he still didnt show much emotion towards her but that's just how he was . You can take the anger and indifference out of the ASR but you cant take the ASR out of the anger and indifference ,Lavanya thought a tender smile creeping up on her face until she remembered what she had to do.
''Aww,honey!Sounds like you need help.Wait...I could help you!If there's anyone who can get a woman to sleep with somebody it's another woman!'' Lavanya exclaimed her tone brightening up instantaneously in mock excitement.
''Hmm...I dont know .I mean I think I can take her .''

''In about an hour?'' Lavanya knew he was in too deep to realize anything now. Great!This was just what she needed!ASR would be so pleased!
''Sounds good to me .At my office?''
''Done.'' She said quietly hanging up on him.
She felt bad cheating him so .He had once been a close friend to her but with time they had just drifted apart. But this was about more than just a one night stand for her .Plus,she couldnt let him treat her future sister -in-law like a common wh**e could she?
She ran to ASR's room to inform him about the good news.

Her face lost some of its earlier vigour until she brightened up again as if determined not to let anything deter her today.

''Khushi!Just call her Khushi, will you?!'' He snapped yet again.It felt SO wrong somehow when Lavanya called Khushi his...sister he shuddered just thinking about it!
''Yeah.I'm going to meet Khushi today!Dont worry she'll be with us in the office working under you in no time.Now tell me how much you love me? '' She asked while batting her eyelashes and giving him a cheeky grin.
''Shut up Lavanya and she better!'' He said while giving her a threatening look ,ignoring her hurt expression.
''Another time then!'' She said visibly consoling herself.
Take the hint Lavanya!He had been desperately hoping she would just realize his feelings towards her but she never did!She seemed immune to his public displays of hatred which came naturally for him,atleast towards her it did .

No, Devi Mayya not again!She thought .She didnt know why or how but everytime she would do ...well basically anything!She would somehow come into physical contact with Arsh!
No,no Khushi she chided herself. What are you doing thinking such thoughts about someone who helped you out?! She promised herself to forget the wayward thoughts for good.She was thankful to him .
And sure enough it was indeed Arsh! She decided to take this one on her.He had fumbled enough for today.
''Oh!I am so sorry Arshji!I didnt see you!''
''Oh.It's okay Khushi .But do tell me something ,wont you? Why the 'ji'? I would prefer it if you would call me just Arsh!'' He said winking at her .
''Okay,Arsh.'' She replied looking up at him -only to catch him staring at her legs .
This too had become increasingly common.Did she have a stain on her salwar? She wondered as she followed his gaze to her legs .
Confused yet again when she couldnt find a stain.
Arsh was definitely weird she decided ! He would look at her for a long time always staring at her back or her legs like he did now .She always felt uncomfortable under his gaze but she never let it get to her.
Besides she was probably overthinking matters anyway.Her mind was going haywire these days -always conjuring up wrong conclusions ,one after the other. It was probably due to the fact that she was losing more than sleep than usual nowadays.She couldnt quite fathom why though ...the feeling of fear and unrest were back with a vengeance and she couldnt make them go away no matter how many jalebis she made!
She was brought out of her reverie when she heard a knock on the door .
''It's Lavanya Arsh!Open up the door I dont have all day!'' Said a feminine yet strong voice with a playful tone from the other end.
