''Coming.And calm down woman!'' Arsh said with a dramatic sigh as he went to open the door.
And as soon as he did,a tall woman bounded into the room .Or maybe not that tall Khushi reasoned as she saw the 6 -inch high heels . She proceeded to look down at her own joothis wondering how the woman managed to walk at all!It must be like walking on stilts Khushi mused.
''Khushi,meet Lavanya.A dear friend!''She heard Arsh adress her and looked up at the mention to see the woman look at her beaming with her hand held out .
Khushi beamed back as she took her hand in her own and shook it saying ''It's really nice to meet you!I'm Khushi.''
''Nice to meet you too, Khushi!''
''Well,I have to be somewhere else .I'm really sorry Lavanya !I forgot that I had this important meeting ...'' Arsh said sounding very sorry indeed.
Such a good actor Arsh thought Lavanya internally smirking .
''Oh.Well can I wait then?Because what I came to discuss is quite important.''
''Yeah ,sure!Khushi will keep you company,wont you Khushi?'' Arsh said glancing hopefully at Khushi.
''Yes,ofcourse Arshji!'' Khushi said smiling widely at him.
''Well then,you ladies have fun.'' Arsh said as he walked out the door .
''So,How long have you been working for Arsh?'' Lavanya asked with a friendly smile on her face .
''Oh ,not that long actually.Just 3 days!'' Khushi replied reciprocating the smile towards Lavanya.
''Oh,really? He seems to be really REALLY taken with you ?If you know what I mean ?'' Lavanya asked as she gave Khushi a coy wink knowing full well that Khushi wouldnt know what she was talking about .
''Actually...I dont.'' Khushi replied ,her face mirroring the confusion she felt.
Bingo! Thought Lavanya .
''Oh.So you mean you and Arsh arent physically ...you know?''
''What are you talking about Lavanyaji?'' Khushi asked now further confused.
''Arent you sleeping with him Khushi is what I meant to ask!'' Lavanya asked appearing to be flustered.
''Sleeping with Arshji?But why would I sleep with him ?I sleep with my jiji in my house and he sleeps in his house!'' Khushi asked more confused than ever.
Oh god!This girl was dumber than she had initially thought! She decided to take another approach .
''Khushi ,have you noticed anything weird about Arsh?Maybe he stares at you or ...bumps into you unnecessarily?'' Lavanya asked as she remembered all of Arsh's common tricks.
''Hai Devi Mayya! How would you know about that?!'' Khushi asked her expression shell shocked.
Wow this is way easier.
''Arsh is a really good friend of mine Khushi, which is why I dont want to say anything bad about him .But woman to woman -I think I owe you the truth.''
Khushi stared at her with curiosity and shock clearly etched on her face.
And then Lavanya executed the most important part of her plan with as much perfection as she was capable of .
She said and explained everything Arsh had said about her .And all of Arsh's habits .Told her why Arsh looked at her the way he did and what his intentions regarding her were .
She watched as Khushi's shock and curiosity was replaced by hurt,anger ,shame and sadness.
''I -I ha-have to go Lavanyaji.It was really nice meeting you.But I must leave immediately'' Khushi said clearly on the verge of tears as she ran out the room as fast as she could possibly manage .
Now,all she had to do was tell ASR ! Thought Lavanya pride filling her being.

She cried into her jiji's lap as her jiji stroked her hair soothingly.
There really wasnt much good left in the world was there?
First ...she shuddered trying to surpress the memories then Rakshas and then Arshji!
She had nothing but good impressions about the man even though she always had an intuition about him.She thought of him as a dear friend -someone who had helped her out in her time of need ,someone she would be eternally grateful to but he ... .Why was it always her trust which was betrayed?
Even,Ma and Papa ...no she was not going to go down that road!Not now, not ever!
She tried to sleep but sleep evaded her and then, fifteen minutes later jiji spoke in a solemn voice ''Khushi,I think its time you went for therapy.''
''No,jiji!'' Khushi replied her voice arrogant but pleading at the same time.
''No Khushi! No more !Your going for therapy.I've heard there are a lot of good therapists in Delhi.''
''No jiji !please dont do this !'' Khushi said horrorstruck.
''No,Khushi I will not listen to a word you have to say in this matter.You hear me?! You need therapy whether you accept it or not !Things have just gotten worse and you barely sleep on most nights!And dont you dare try denying it ,do you understand?!''
