Geet stared deep into his eyes.His eyes..They had the power to make her stand still without any words..

She did not know for how long she stared at him.His eyes glistened..

They twinkled as if they'd found something very pure-something precious!

There was raw passion and desire embedded in them that made Geet tremble..

Suddenly the emotions playing in his eyes flickered to shame,guilt,pain and..

L.O.V.E.

Geet blinked.His eyes..They were filled with love-for her!

The thought itself sent jolts down her spine.

Taking advantage of Maan turning back to collect his luggage along with Annie,Geet turned around immediately to control her pounding heart and glanced sideways to see Vicky looking at Maan and Annie longingly..

Geet felt bad for him.She placed a comforting hand on his shoulder and said slowly,"Why son't you give him a chance to explain him?"

That brought Vicky out of his reverie.His face was again covered with utter hatred for Maan.

"Why do you hate him so much?"Geet asked softly..

"Because he killed my sister Ragini!!That is more than a hundred reasons to hate him!"

"shh!Vicky,if you've forgotten,Maan loved Ragini more than his life!He would never do anything of that sort!He would rather prefer death over this killing business!"

"How long will you support him bhabi?You and Annie think his pain is the worst but have anyone of you imagined what it felt for me to see my beloved sister hanging down the roof with the noose tightly wound around her neck?

"I can never forget Maan's look when he saw di's dead form.He looked guilty..He looked.."Before Vicky could complete Annie and Maan returned.

Geet noticed the extra glow on Annie's face.She gave Annie a lopsided smile knowing the reason behind it.

It had taken a whole lot of self-effort for Maan to control himself from running towards Geet and sealing her mouth with his!

He wanted her.This one whole month had been enough for him to realise that he needed her..

He yearned to be with her..

He had reconsidered his decision to hurt geet..The pain he gave her,it caused him a pain that was trillion times more than the pain he had been giving her the last two days before his departure..

Maan realized that Geet was a part of his existence,his elixir of life!!

She had completely occupied his mind this whole month that Maan decided he wanted to give a chance to their relationship..

He wanted to tell her everything about his past-And after that the decision was hers to make..

If Geet thought that maan would never hurt her and if she trusted him,she could be with him but if she does not trust him and think that Maan will one day hurt her too,then he was happy to let her go!

He slowly smiled at her and watched her dip her head down to control her blush.Maan's heart did a little somersault at geet's action.

He himself wanted to take a control over him.Before he met Geet and told her about his decision,he wanted to formulate and practise how he'd tell her the truth-the real truth behind Rags' death.

Maan suggested,"Anvi and I will leave by taxi while Vicky and Geet can go in his car"

Geet felt her heart settle down.She wanted to talk to him,just once.It had been a month since she heard his voice.She raised her eyes to protest but instead Vicky spoke,"No problem,Mr.Khurana,you must be tired after the jet lag!Why should I disturb you?Bhabi,we'll go by taxi"

Vicky pulled Geet with him and walked out of the airport,to find a taxi for them.

Maan felt he'd burst out any moment.

He couldn't take it-Vicky's coldness!

It was hurting him more than it should!

Maan immediately got inside the car along with Annie and asked the driver to follow the taxi that Vicky and Geet had taken.

"Did you see his face?You shouldn't have talked to Maan like that!"Geet said angrily.

"Oh really?Did you see the lusty looks he was giving you?He seemed as if he'd molest you,let alone r**e you!"

"Shut up Vicky.Mind your tongue"Geet said warningly.

Vicky turned the other side and said sadly,"I love you bhabi and I care for you..Just leave this home..Go back to your veerji..He'd take care of you..One day If Maan kills you,then I would never be able to forgive myself!"

Geet placed a hand over his shoulder.

"Vicky,all these are misconceptions that you've framed about him.He is not the kind of person who would hurt the person who he loves!But one thing I'd say is,he'll give up his own life if it meant saving the person whom he loves"she said as she looked lost.

"Pardon?Vicky asked confused.

"Nothing"Geet told and said to the driver,"bhai saab,can you turn on the radio please?"

"Sure behna"the man replied as he turned that radio on.

Maan's driver followed the taxi while Annie was sitting idly.She asked suddenly,"Bhai,can I tune in to the radio?"

Maan nodded and let Annie turn on the radio.The music started playing.He closed his eyes as he recognized the song.

Maan immediately concentrated on the lyrics and closed his eyes.He was dragged back to Sydeney where he saw her picture for the first time.The feeling that he'd felt for Geet at that instant..The day when he returned back home and saw Geet for real..Their kiss at the office..The way she pushed him away..

Geet was amazed at the song.It had been her favourite song!Her mind was filled with memories when she saw Maan at the party for the first time..The way she pushed him away in the office..The words hurled at him by her..The way Maan had stared at her at the Airport..

Maan realised the way Geet had spoke those hurtful words..The way he hugged her tight in the darkness..Her laughter..the way he had hurt her by accusing her..The pain that was his only companion at Sydney the one whole month besides Sasha..

Maan slowly got down from the car and looked at the taxi to see Geet getting down.She turned towards him and looked at him as the music played in the background.They stared at each other for a moment as they realised the intensity of the situation

And my heart will go on and on

Geet bore her eyes into his as she meant those words.Her tears had started to flow down.Maan walked towards her as if he was in a trance and so did she.The very moment the song ended Geet ran towards him,leaving all her inhibitions,her fears of him leaving her behind,Vicky's talks-everything and threw herself over him.

Maan lifted her up the air as he buried him in the crook of her neck.

Nothing more mattered now-All that mattered was the feeling that both of them shared being in each other's arms-PURE SOLACE..
