Dadima started the engagement preparations as soon as came back from the hospital

Annie and Meera were busy selecting outfits for Geet

There was some weather problem in London so Dev could not come on time for the engagement ceremony

Dadima took Geet to a famous shop to select the engagement ring for Maan

Maan did not accompany them he declared that he would himself go and get a ring for Geet

Finally it was time for the engagement all the guests had arrived

Geet was looking gorgeous in a teal color Anarkali suit whereas Maan had selected a white colour Sherwani

Maan was appreciating Geet's beauty through his eyes and Geet was constantly blushing as Maan was not ready to remove his gaze from her

Dadima gave the engagement ring to Geet

Dadima: Geet bete Maan ko ring pehnayiye [Geet put the ring on Maan's finger]

Geet placed the ring on his finger she was really happy

Annie: Dekho bhai humne aapke liye kitni achhi ring pasand ki ab aap bhi apni ring bataiye jo aap Geet k liye lekar aaye ho [Look Bro we have selected such a beautiful ring for u now show us the ring that u have brought for Geet]

Maan: Apni Mayari k liye main koi aisi waisi ring lekar nahi aaya meri Geet kafi special hai toh anghuti bhi special hi hogi [I am not going to get any ordinary ring for my Mayari my Geet is special and her engagement ring would also be special]

Dadima: Achha toh hum bhi dekhe aapne aisa kya special plan kiya hai? [O really so let us also see what is the special surprise that u have planned?]

Maan signals Adi

Adi keeps a big box on a table

Maan opens the box each and everyone present in the function were totally surprised

There were in all 10 different types of diamond rings one for each finger

Maan took the first ring it was a Round cut diamond ring and placed it in the small finger of Geet's right hand

Before Geet could react Maan took the second ring which was a Princess cut diamond ring

Geet was spellbound by the beauty of his words

The next ring that Maan had selected for Geet was a Cushion cut diamond ring

All this was a dream for Geet infact her dreams were never as beautiful as the present scenario

Next in line was a Radiant cut diamond ring

Maan: Ye anguthi tumhe dekar main ye vaada karta hoon k humare pyar ki roshni k saamne darr k kale badal galti se bhi mandara nahi paayenge [By giving u this ring I promise u that our love would act as a leading light fearing which the clouds of darkness would never wander in any phase of our beautiful journey]

Geet did not understand if she was alive or not she felt as if she was in heaven Maan was making her feel so special

The next ring was an Asscher cut diamond

Maan: Humari zindagi ka har ek din khaas hoga har ek pal hum milkar ek saath khulkar puri tarah se jeenge [By giving u this ring I promise u that we would live each day of our life to the fullest and would make every ordinary moment into a special one]

Yes this was true she always felt blessed and extraordinary in presence of Maan he always made her feel like a princess

The next ring was a Pear shaped diamond ring

Now it was time to beautify the left hand of Geet with the rest of the rings

Maan took a Marquise shaped diamond ring

These few lines got engraved in her heart permanently Maan had defined their love in such a magical way that any girl would love to be in Geet's place she was indeed God's favourite child

Now only the last four rings were left

The next ring was an Oval shaped diamond ring

These few lines formed the foundation of their relationship yes it was so true in their entire journey there had been so many difficult phases but both of them had never questioned the divinity of their love

Last 3 rings were left

Maan took the third last ring which was an Emerald diamond ring

Maan: Meri zindagi mein pavitrata k aur khuda ki khudayi k maayine tumhi se hai aur zindagi bhar mere liye yahi sabse bada sach hoga ye vaada hai mera tumse [By giving u this ring I promise that u would always be the epitome of purity and holiness in my life]

Maan's words were making Geet emotional he was comparing her with the almighty what else would any girl wish for?

The second last ring was a Fancy colored diamond ring

Maan: Iss anghuti se main ye vadaa karta hoon k humare rishte ko main khushiyaan, bharose, pyar aur wafa k rango se sajayunga [By giving u this ring I promise to decorate our relationship with the colors of happiness, trust, love and loyalty]

Geet was completely drowned in the ocean of Maan's love

Now the last ring was remaining

It was a heart shaped ring 😳😳😳

Maan placed this ring on the engagement finger of Geet

Maan took both her hands in his and sits on his knee

He kissed both her hands and looks directly into her eyes and starts singing

Maan: "Jab koi baat bigad jaaye jab koi mushkil pad jaaye tum dena saath mera oh humnawa... Na koi hai na koi tha zindagi mein tumhare siwa tum dena saath mera oh humnawa" [When any matter gets ruined when any difficulty arises u give me companionship o my love. The pearls of Maan's love made way from her heart to her eyes and started shining in the form of tears

Maan got up and kissed her tears away

Geet was too emotional to reply she simply submitted herself in his embrace

All the guests present at the function started praising their love but Maaneet were in a completely different world a world that belonged only to their love
