Part 5
Captivation
Back to present
As she woke up she found herself in an unknown territory which disturbed her to high levels. Due to the tiredness her sight was still bit blur yet she was able to make out that she lay in a lavish bedroom but it wasn't her's.
Then various flashes flew in front of her eyes where she saw what happened last night and how she was kidnapped from her bedroom. Then her encounter with Rajveer in his limo and her trying to escape but she passed out. Perhaps she was still stuck with him.
Right then some shuffling was heard in the room which made her get up with a jerk. She saw how a maid rolled in a trolley with tea and breakfast. "Sir has said for you to have breakfast."
For obvious reasons Naina was utterly displeased. "What the hell am I doing here and why have I been captive?" The maid left without any answer and Naina threw away the trolley in frustration. Then she pushed aside the bedspread and got off the bed to get her answers from the very man himself.
Rajveer sat very relaxed in casuals drinking his tea and reading an important document and was totally aloof of the surroundings around him. That meant no one was allowed to disturb him no matter what.
However that wasn't going to stop Naina as she barged inside the hall totally ignoring the insolent guards. She confronted Rajveer who was still immensed inside his document. "Who the hell do you think you are kidnapping me like this?" He still didn't look up towards her. "Aap ki dunya me sab aapka hokum maante honge Mr. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, per me on mese nahi hu." He still hadn't looked up which just raised her temper further. "Your power isn't going to work on me so I demand you return me back to my house at once."
It was only then that Rajveer put his file down and looked up at her. She looked even more ravishing in the light of the day in that gown. Last night he hadn't had a chance of a full glimpse but right then he enjoyed it to the most. The thin material showed off too much which turned his insides out and he tried very hard to control his urges. Then with a smile he got up. "Did you have breakfast?"
It was ignored by her. "Answer my question. Why have you abducted me like this?"
He sighed and put his hands in the pockets of his slacks. "Jabse maine tumhe dekha hain, apne saare hosh gawa betha hu." His intense gaze rested on her which slightly twitched her. "I've been seeing you everywhere and it has driven me nuts. This was the only way I could remain sane if you were always there in front of me." She looked astonished, "Meree yeh mushkil ko sirf tumhee puri karsakti ho Naina. I need you."
Naina was taken aback by his audacity to admit his crime as if she had made him do it. "You really think you can just choose anything and you'll get it no matter what?" he looked less affected. "This is my life and there's no way you can buy me, you understand."
At first he remained on his spot but then he moved in closer towards her until there was just a distance of an inch. His manly hand touched her delicate cheek and then he slowly rubbed her lips with the tip of his thumb until she shrugged his hand off roughly.
"Don't you dare touch me!" there was this defiant fire within her eyes. "You might be used to people and women falling on your feet but don't think you can bed me at your own will." She moved back a bit away from him. "I'll never bow down to your wishes so next time, don't even think about coming close to me."
Obviously Rajveer didn't like that and annoyance was written all over his face. He moved forward towards her and she moved back with each step clearly afraid of his intentions. It continued until she got stuck against the wall, which meant she was trapped by him once again.
His heavy aggressive grip held her tight as she hissed in pain. Yet he ignored it and glared at her with his sharp eagle eyes. "Ab tak me tumse sharafat se peish aarahu hu to iska fiada kabhi mat uthaana." He increased the intensity of the grip making her wince. "If I want I can tear this gown of your's right now and ruin you to bits and there wont be any way you'll be able to stop me. That way your arrogance will shatter down into pieces." That sure scared her as his hand had gripped the thin fabric of her gown and she struggled to save her dignity. "Yet I wont do that." He released the grip but didn't increase the distance between them. "I don't need to do that because whenever Rajveer wants something he simply takes it and he doesn't need anyone's permission." He warned her with his dangerous dark gaze. "Nobody can stop me which is why Rajveer always makes sure he has what he wants." He grabbed hold of her again yet less aggressively. "You'll come closer to me yourself."
Naina was in tears and felt too timid. "Please let me go, mujhe jaane do please." She begged hoping he would understand her state.
But it went to deaf ears as he moved back. "I'm sending your breakfast once again. Make sure you eat it." He turned away but then turned back remembering something. "And yes, don't even think about running away from here. Once someone enters Rajveer's fortress then they can never return back alive." He left the room making sure she had understood that.
All she was left with was tears. She was distraught and totally trapped with no help what so ever. She felt too lonely and completely weak. She dropped onto the floor crying as loud as she could yet no one was there to hear her mourns. She couldn't believe she was trapped in a big web where there was no escape whatsoever. Why was he doing that to her? Then she worried about her parents and how they would have been worried by now, have had found her missing like that.
It was true that her parents were worried when they found her room empty early in the morning. Yet they believed she must have gone to work early so had dismissed the matter.
The very worry brought Naina to a phone. She sneaked up to it quietly having had her eyes around her to make sure she was all alone. Then she dialed her house number and waited but found herself lucky since her mother picked it up in two rings. It overwhelmed her and she tried to tell her mother what happened to her but all of a sudden the line disconnected.
A shock awaited her when she saw Rajveer standing there in front of her. Her whole body developed goosebumps and she trembled as if she had just encountered a wild beast. So far his behavior had done nothing but scare her.
With a normal stride he came towards her. "I'm disappointed Naina, that you've been a bad girl." He used no aggression but his strong voice was enough to scare anybody. "You haven't obeyed any of my rules." He took the phone out of her hand and then his aggressive grip grabbed her wrist. "If you wanted to call then you should have told me." She struggled and cried. "istarha mere peet piche kiya wo acha nahi kiya." His sarcastic tone took over. "Now I'll have to teach you discipline and you will obey me. You will bow down to me." He raised his voice slightly to show his strictness.
The grip's tightness had made her hand numb and it was difficult for her to control the pain and she could see he was less affected.
"I'll have you no matter what." That dangerous look was back which sent shivers down her spine.
All the time she was worried as what he would do. Will he force himself on her as he had stated before? Yet, was rather surprised, when he backed off and just ordered two of his men, to escort her back to her room.
"You'll remain locked in your room until I decide to take you out." He commanded making sure it was understood that time loud and clear. Her protests were ignored as he left the room leaving her with his men.
Five minutes later, she found herself back inside the lavish bedroom with the door bolted from outside. She was trapped and captivated by an insane man who believed he owned the world. How was she to fight against someone who wasn't ready to listen to anything but himself? At that moment she only had two choices; either to cry as much as she could or to kill herself.
The maid came in several times either bringing her food or a full range of dresses to change into. She informed Naina how Rajveer had bought all of it just for her and she had a wide range of choice. Yet she didn't respond and remained numb on her bed.
She hadn't realized how long it had been since she lay on the bed in that distressed state but it had been long for sure. The evening sky was visible through the huge windows on one side of the room and the warm breeze touched her skin making her dry eyes itch. They had become sore and puffy from the crying and also she had become weak since she hadn't touched anything that had been brought for her to eat the whole day.
The urge to close the windows helped her get off the bed and slowly she reached the window side. Yet she froze as she looked at a horrifying sight outside.
Rajveer was busy in business outside where his men held someone in their grasp and brutally beat him. His back was turned away from the action and then after two minutes or so when he heard his men had stopped, he turned around and shot the guy in the head.
It left Naina stunned and right then she became more afraid than before. The man was really dangerous. She hadn't even known half of what was going on there and it just gave her the creeps and her body shuddered all over. What was she to do then? How was she going to escape her fate?
Her steps moved back from the window and back to the bed where she sat crouched up. She wanted to close herself up to hide from the danger which lay ahead. What was Rajveer going to do with her? She knew very well he wasn't going to release her that easily so what was she going to do? Will he kill her too just like that man outside? She had no idea who the dead guy was yet she felt connected due to the relation of fear from Rajveer the beast.
That evening when the maid came inside with dinner, Naina remained non responsive on her bed. But the moment she saw Rajveer enter, she moved back against the headboard to save herself.
"I've noticed how you haven't listened to me once again so I came to make sure you obeyed in my very presence." He instructed the maid to leave. "Eat this dinner right now Naina or I'll force it down you." He cared about her health yet his sensitive side had died long ago.
Generally she would have argued but after seeing some facts she knew it was best to listen. She moved out meekly towards the trolley and ate slowly not putting her gaze up towards him once.
He watched her eat innocently just like a child and he gave half a smile. It was good she understood his good will. Well atleast that's what he thought she did. He sat down opposite her and waited till she ate properly. "Do you want anything else?" yet before she could have said anything he interrupted her. "Azaadi ke ilawa kuch bhi maang sakti ho mujhse, kyu ke ab agar tum yahase gayee bhi to sirf ek badnaami ka dhaag le ke jaaogi." She stopped to eat and looked p at him. "Nobody will believe that I kidnapped you and then just let you go all clean." She concentrated on his gaze. "Everyone will think that you stayed here with me for the whole night and you came back clean. Very unlikely." He crossed his leg over the other and relaxed back onto the sofa chair. "You have no choice Naina but to stay here with me."
After the last morsel she put in her mouth she wiped her hands. "Can I please make a phone call to my parents?" her eyes watered with tears. "They'll be really worried."
It was at that moment that he actually paid attention to her teary eyes and something hit him in his heart. Was it the sensitivity he had buried deep inside? Whatever it was he couldn't tolerate it so he took his cell phone out which obviously had an untraceable sim and gave it to her.
Her trembling hands grabbed it and she dialed the number nervously. She had so much to say but she knew that she wasn't going to be able to say anything with the devil sitting right in front of her.
When she talked to her mother, both were happy. Her mother enquired where had she been the whole day and why hadn't she returned back home yet. Of course Naina wanted to tell her the truth but she couldn't so she covered up. "Maa, I've been sent on a trip from my company so don't worry." She sniffed. "I'll be back in a few days...I was sent all of a sudden so didn't have time to inform...yes maa..." she paused as she saw Rajveer still staring at her as if she was a small child calling home from school. She knew she couldn't reveal anything as he was too unpredictable. What if he harmed her parents? "Maa don't worry about me. I'll call you again...ok I have to go right now...haan..." then she cut the call almost too quickly because she knew she would end up crying and her mother would have suspected something was amiss.
After that Naina buried her head between her knees and burst out crying like there was no end.
Rajveer had the urge to go and comfort her. Take her in his arms and love her to relax her but he knew he couldn't do it right then. Not when she was too vulnerable so he stood up and left her alone with her misery. The pain was surely felt by him yet his ego was stronger for him to let his sensitive side surface.
