Parallels b/w an actual experiment and "love" experiment was brilliant...Reminded me of my college dayz and chemistry labs. If only it was explained in the terms of Love, it would have had bigger impact on me 😆

Coming to the update, loved the dream that Geet was having and analogy of the train patiently waiting, but waiting to take her to an opposite direction than her intention. Hmmm, I wonder if this train might actually take her to destination, a place which she herself doesn't know if she can go to.

Beautiful update.
Geet's perspective was so good.
Especially the train and the chemical reactions part was amazing.
Most of the reactions dont end up with salt and ashes though.
This time hope she will have one mindblowing reaction.
Looks like she has to make the choice soon while its still hot and the train is patiently waiting

As for the locations I choose, it might sound weird to you, but in the workshops I have taken, they ask you to think of specifics about characters. And that is why I keep saying that the skeleton of the narrative is always the same and the details is what any writer/author keeps working on.

In my head Maan & Geet are living close to Van Ness and Sacremento - the upper middle class living in SF.

Sausalito - More suited for M&G from NY times, since we were going for the Khuranas to be Indian blue blood et all and Sausalito is more for the elite here.

I'm hoping you walked all these places, instead of driving through. Trust me there is a huge difference.

Unfortunately i could just drive through, since i was short on time... but anyways theres always a next time 😉

Loved Geet's dream and details of her experiment...

The best was

The jolting zap, was what was left besides the emptiness that remained. And this, some called love - a rather dignified name for the motions one went through to keep up with the circle of life.

The emotions the Geet has right now and her delimma is something so conflicting and yet so true... Wonder why it was so clear and easy for Maan but at the same time so confusing for Geet, while both i guess went thru the same emotions in their past... Does it in anyways relate to their personalities or is it a generic amongst genders?
