Now I have to sit with tail between my legs and just start writing. I can't believe that it only took two pages of discussion to nudge me out of my stubbornness. Lord! I need to hold my ground better the next time.

Well, if you love to hang around, then I'm more than happy to give topics to mull over. This was meant to be a feel good story, but no harm in making the train go around a few mountains, turn and twist in the way it looks a slithering snake streaming down the coast. 😆

I was reading a book on manic depressives recently and strangely - and without reason - that made me think why Abhinav broke up with Geet...Perhaps we should explore that route.

Lets step off the train and go to Golden Gate Park for a while in the next update.

Don't we all have choices based on what we like and where we comment, why should that be the driving force for the writer to continue writing/posting. I have always imagined the writer to first write for them selves and then post it on open forums for sharing purpose, but again this is just my opinion!!! True; but unfortunately that is how I started off: which is writing for IF. I want to learn the art - to not be that biggest critic who admonishes my own writing. Until then, I'm falling back on folks here to keep telling me that it is fairly worth acknowledging.

"You don't write because you want to say something; you write because you've got something to say."

Now I'm going to say, that just because there is an urgency in me to got to say something, it doesn't mean its what you want to read. And feedback is the only way I'm going to gauge the pulse of the people around. You see I'm not a seasoned writer or published one to sprightly throw all my rambles at you.

Although plain encouragement would be nice to have and not a must.

Hasini, its only natural to want some appreciation and acknowledgement every once in a while. Seasoned writers or not. everyone needs it. that is why they get their work published. In hopes of it reaching like minded people, or getting some people to change their team.. or simply enjoy the writers imagination , or thought process. Its a way to connect like ordinary men communicate and connect through speech.

But there are limitations to the readers in IF. so, you aren't being dramatic or fussy in your demand.. just don't compare with other writers here ;) .. its not the same.(so do not let that pull you down for long.)

As for the readers who do frequent this thread,

I think most of them are regulars at the other thread too , but still, at the risk of repeating myself:
