Swayam:"I Am Down Here Jaaan .."

I looked down and saw Swayam on his knee with his right hand put forward.. towards me !!

I gasped at the sight..It was too unusual to see Swayam down on his knees before a girl.. I couldn't believe my eyes..

I managed to blurt out,"What Are You Doing Down There ??! "

Swayam:"When Is A Man Usually On His Knees,sharon??"

Me:"Errr..Ummm..When They Trip Over??! "

Swayam:"Huh Witty!!As If You Dont Know What I Meant To Say..I Am Asking Something From You..Dont Make This Tough For Me !!You Know That Im Not Used To All These..."

Me:"Ummm...Lemme Think .."

Swayam:"Sharon.. I Know You Are A Smart Girl.. Way Smarter Than Anyone Else So Can You Just Make It Quick.. My Knee Is Hurting.. Ouuuccchhh "

He made a puppy face and looked up at me ..

Me:[giggling]"I Always Loved Irritating You..

Anyway So You Mean You Want Something From Me Mister.. May I Know What Do You Exactly Want.. ??"

Swayam:[romantically]"Oh My Pretty Lady,Can I Have A Dance With You??"

I couldn't believe my ears then !!

I thot amused,"OMG !! Did He Just Say That ?!"

But I wasnt giving myself upto him any soon eidr so I continued playing up with him.

Me:"Look At The Pretty Ladies Eyeing You From There [pointing towards the ball room] Dying To Dance With The Most-Desirable Boy In School !!"

Swayam:"None Are Better Than You Ofcourse.."

Me:"Oh Really !!I Always Thought That You Thought It The Other Way.. And Moreover.. Werent You A Big Time Hater Of The Color Red.. So How Come You Have Come Up To Me Instead Of Going To The Ladies In Blue Your Favourite Colour..?!"

Swayam stood up and came a step closer to me..and replied..

Swayam:"Yes.. Red Wasnt Even Near To Be My Fav Colour Till I Saw It On You.."

Me:"Swayammm .. Stop Using Those Cheesy Pick Up Lines On Me .. Will You.. ??!!"

Swayam:"Lines Are Boring You.. Then Let Me Pick You Up .. I Hope That Will Be Quite An Interesting Experience.."

He came towards me to get hold of Me..

I took a step backwards and said..

Me:"Swayam No You Are Not Doing That Please.. !! And What Are You Upto.. Using Pick Up Lines On Me.. Instead Of The Hot Pretty Ladies In There.. Me Swayam.. 'The Sharon' ..'The Not-Your-Type Girl'.. Remember? Whats Wrong With Your Eyes Swayam.."

Swayam:"Yes..Something Is Definitely Wrong With My Eyes..I Cant Get Them Off You !!"

chapter 4

I was too shocked to reply back.. actually I was speechless.. !!

Swayam:"Can I Please Get To Dance With You Once..I Wont Ask For Another..They Will Be Soon Starting The Music For The Couple Dance..Please Sharon.."

Me:"But...swayamm..How Can I..Im Not Prepared For This..I Wont Be Able To Do It..And Moreover Vyom..."

Before I could continue further he came closer to me and put his finger softly on my lips..His touch made me go weak on my knees..He looked directly into my eyes..

Swayam

:"Just Once Sharon.."

I knew he wouldnt give up till i agreed..I was already in a trance by then but managed to blurt out..

Me

:"Hmmm..I'll Dance With You.."

His eyes showed how happy he was wen I said that.. It was sparkling with a touch of winning over me..I felt so..

I just had Swayam in my mind then..just him..

Swayam held my hand tight and started running towards the ball room..

My feared to trip over cause of the long dress n high heeled stillhetos i was wearing..

Me:"Ouch Swayam..Can You Loosen Your Grip And Slow Down Your Pace??!!"

Swayam:"Are You Sure You Wont Run Away From Me ??"

I threw a half shocked and half irritatd glance at Swayam and said..

Me:"Swayam..!!Are You Out Of Your Mind..??!Stop Behaving Like A Wierdo...Though Thats What You Are !!"

I giggled..

We reached the ballroom by then..Few couples had already taken their position in the dance floor..

Swayam gave a tug and pulled me closer to him..He placed my hands on his shoulders.. And placed his around my waist lightly..and pulled me a bit more closer.. We were extremely close by then.. Our faces were few inches apart..

He looked directly into my eyes and spoke in a soft-romantic tone..

Swayam:"..Let Me Be Your Hero.."
