The Incomplete Love Story
K- Sorry it took me so long
Ary- It's okay mom, dad told me you just wanted to look nice
K smiled at Aryan then at Angad, but she noticed Angad wasn't paying attention to anything, he was dazing off in his own world.
K- Angad...Angad...Angad?
Finally, Kripa snapped her fingers in front of his face and he came back to life.
K- Angad, are you okay?
A- Oh, yeah, sorry...By the way, Prithvi called.
Kripa froze when he said that. She knew exactly what he was thinking. There was pain in his voice and a million questions in his eyes. She knew if she tried answering his questions, she would only fall in her own eyes. She simply tried to ignore it.
K- Umm...thanks.
Ary- Mom is Prithvi your best friend?
K- Yeah he is, whose yours?
Ary- Jacob. He's my best friend.
K- That's cool. Does Jacob like basketball too?
Ary- Yeah, we play for a really long time, but I always win!
K- Well, winning isnt everything.
Angad- If winning isn't everything, then why do they keep score?
Aryan- Good one dad!
K- Quite Aryan! Angad what are you teaching him, I dont need another obsessive winner type of guy in my life.
A- Hey, what can I say, winning runs in my blood, so what the **** can I do about it?
K- Angad, if you think winning is "life", then fine, I dont care! But yes, dont use words like **** around Aryan, its a bad example. . Aryan should know the morals and values of life, not curse words!
A- Oh please Kripa, Aryan knows whats good for him.
K- No he doesnt, right now Angad, I know your Aryan's role model, he looks up to YOU, so you have to set a good example for him, not bad ones!
A- Oh yeah its always my fault, isnt it?
K- All Im trying to say is......forget it!
A- Okay, so now after we've had the best dinner of our lives, let's go home.
K- I agree
A- That's new.
Kripa gave Angad a whatever face.
Aryan- Gosh, you guys act like two kids fighting for chocolate!
A&K- Sorry
Ary- Good now say sorry to each other.
Angad- Fine, but she has to say it 1st
K- No, U say it 1st
A-U
K-U
Aryan- Okay, both of you say it at the same time when I count to three okay?
AK- Okay
Ary-1.....2.....3!
AK- Sorry!
Aryan- Now that that's settled, lets go home, Its way past my bed time.
The three drove home in silence. Aryan was sleeping in the back seat and Angad and Kripa were both silent, before Kripa broke the silence.
K- I guess Aryans got more maturity in him then we have in us, huh?
A- U could say that again.
K- Angad
A-Yeah?
K- U were right.....
A- About what?
K- U were right, if winning doesn't matter than why do they keep score.
Angad laughed a little- No I wasnt, u were right after all, winning isnt everything...but the will to win is everything.
Kripa gave Angad a smile.
A- So Kripa, hows dad...I mean, hows your dad doing?
Kripa was surprised at Angads question. It was true that Angad and her dad, Raj, were really close. Kripa had a brother Rishi, who was immature and unresponsible. So Angad was the son Raj never had. Raj loved Angad like his own son. Maybe that was the reason Raj never supported their divorce.
A-Kripa, you there?
K- Oh yeah, sorry. Dads doing fine.
A- Good.
K- And Angad, you can still call him dad. Just because our relation changed doesnt mean your guys did. He still thinks of you as his son.
A- Thanks Kripa
They finally reached home. Angad picked Aryan up in his arms and took him to his room. Angad tucked in Aryan and then went to his own room to change his clothes.
After Kripa changed, she went to Aryan to kiss him good night. As she was doing so she noticed how much Aryan resembled Angad. She tried to find similarities of herself, but she kept seeing Angad in him. Right then Angad came up next to her.
A- What r u doing?
K- ...Just trying to find similarities between him and me.
A- Well... he does have your eyes.
K- Liar, those are your eyes too.
A- Yeah, I was just trying to make you feel better.
A- But he does have your mouth.
K- What do u mean?
A- Well he keeps talking and talking...just like u!
Kripa started to hit Angad playfully, slowly Kripa and Angad got close. They didn't even realize they were on top of each other. They gradually started to stare into each other's eyes. And slowly their lips touched.

I tried to make it romantic as well as interesting, I hope u guys liked it. I know I still havnt told why they had a divorce, but I'll try to fit that into the next part.
