Part 4:

The day of engagement...

Gupta's Residence

Khushi is very upset and miserable and keeps a happy face for...the family.

She dresses up payal for her engagement...

Khushi: Jiji hum aap keliye bahut khush hain...

Jiji: Yeh sab tumhari wajah se hua hai...aur Arnav ji ke wajah se...

Khushi suddenly losts in thoughts of Arnav...how she confessed everything about Shyam to her and how he has supported her...and she smiles...

Payal: Arre aaj toh unki bhi sagaai hai na...

Khushi's smiles disappears...and tears roll down her cheek...

Payal looks at khushi and asks what happen...

Khushi: kuch nahi jiji...hum bahut khush hain...and then wipes her tears...

Khushi is dressed up in a pretty sari too...They all leave for RM.

At RM:

Arnav is getting ready for his engagement...and he is completely lost in Khushi's thoughts...his memories of her tears bring tears to his eyes...He remembers the day Khushi told him that she got engaged and how he decided to get engaged to Lavanya...

Arnav gets very disturbed and throws his tie away and sits on the bed...

Arnav: What have I done?

The gupta family arrives at RM. Everyone is smiling except for Khushi...Khushi's eyes are wandering...to make sure that Shyam is not here...and suddenly she notices Arnav and Akaash coming down...and her eyes are only on Arnav...Arnav doesn't realize she has reached...

Khushi quickly goes to the kitchen...so that she doesn't have to meet Arnav...she doesn't why but she feels very restless...

Then Arnav, suddenly sees that Payal is here and his eyes look around for Khushi...but he cant find her...at all.

Meanwhile Lavanya comes and holds Arnav's arm...and Arnav is unable to go anywhere...

Arnav thinks in his mind :Kahaan ho tum Khushi...?

Everyone has gathered in the living room and Anjali gets a call from Shyam...

Anjali: Kya? Aap bhi na...

Arnav looks very disgusted...

Arnav: Kya hua di...?

Anjali: Vhote dekho na...aaj ke din bhi kaam se baahar gaye hai...

Khushi hears this from the kitchen and feels very relieved. She is very hesitant to go to the living area as Arnav is there too...but she doesn't have any choice...

Anjali: Khushiji kahaan gayi...

Buaji: Arre, abho toh yehi thi...

Khushi slowly comes...and Arnav looks at her...lovingly. But Khushi doesn't make any I contact with him....But Arnav has only eyes for her...

Khushi is serving drinks to everyone around the living room and she comes close to Arnav...and Arnav looks at Khushi but Khushi walks away...

Now Arnav gets really upset...

Payal and Akash get engaged first...Khushi is standing right next to Payal...and smiling ...Arnav is getting very mad...

Everyone clap for Payal and Akash...

Now it is Arnav and Lavanya's engagement...

But before that Arnav slowly whispers to Lavanya that he really needs to talk to her...but lavanya doesn't take him seriously..

Anjali: Kya hua Lavanya...

Lavanya is smiling '..kuch nahi di

Lavanya: dekhiya naa di, hamari engagement honewaali hai...aur ASR ko jaldi hai muhse akele mein baat karni hai...pool ke paas...

Khushi now finally looks at Arnav in shock...and Arnav looks at Khushi..

Khushi is very worried as what he wants to talk to her...

Anjali: Chote..pehle sagaai baadme akele mein jitni baat karni hain kar lena...

Arnav is very worried and his face shows it all...

Anjali: Sagai ki anghooti...kahaan hai...

Khushi brings the ring...

Khushi: Yeh leejiye...Arnav cant believe what Khushi is doing...

Khushi is about to give the ring to Anjali and then suddenly the light goes off and Anjali drops the ring...and its dark around...

Everyone is like "Hey Bhagwaan"

Arnav quickly stands up and walks to the poolside...and Khushi sees him go...

Khushi looks around and everyone is busy lighting candles and looking for the ring and waiting for the electricity to come back...

Meanwhile, Arnav is moving here and there restlessly around the poolside...and he suddenly hears the sound of the Payal...(anklets).

Arnav: Accha hua Lavanya tum aa gayi...Lavanya, please listen to me carefully...and I know that u will understand...Lavanya...mein...mein yeh sagai nahi kar sakta...

Arnav closes his eyes...and says

Arnav: I know u r really hurt Lavanya...but I am really sorry...I know tum ne bahut kuch tolerate kiya hai...but I dont know how to explain...this...Lavanya , I ...I dont love you...the way you deserve t be loved...and you have done a lot to change yourself...

Arnav: Mujhe hameshaa se lagaa ki '..yeh pyaar waar doesn't make any sense...but it does now lavanya...and I dont feel it for you...but I have feelings for someone else...

Arnav: Lavanya, tum mujhe koi jawaab kyon nahi de rahi ho...? Answer me dammit...

Arnav turns around...and is shocked to see Khushi standing there...and with tears rolling down her cheeks...

Both look at each other with shock in their eyes...

😉I am thinking if I should make this my last part and let your imagination run wild...😆
