I know I did not follow the precap stated in chapter 6 but then... not everything can run according to the plan...
Wait and Read I guess...
Recap:
Adrenaline rushed through Shyam's veins as he saw her again, the detective had chosen the best spot, he thought, after this drama was over, he would get married to her, tonight in this very temple. In a hurry to get this drama over with, he moved towards Khushi and raised his hand to caress her face, "Khushiji, I love you, it would have saved me all the trouble if you would have not run away. Even DM wants us to be together, otherwise you would not have been standing here with me."
Khushi took a step back, loathing evident on her face, disgust not just for the man standing in front of her but also directed at herself.
A hard hand grazed hers, holding her still as she stumbled backwards and a feeling of disgust swept Khushi's body. She snatched her hand away from Shyam as a tremor shook her body at his vile touch.
"Khushiji, Be careful" Shyam said hating the way she recoiled at his touch, but not for long he thought. She would be with him forever after tonight.
"Go away, for God's sake, you are married. Anjaliji loves you."
"I love you Khushi, not RS. She means nothing to me please understand me."
"Don't say that. Why did you marry her then? Why don't you annul the marriage then? Set her free. She deserves happiness and love..."
Shyam sneered an evil glint kit up his eyes and instinct told Khushi, this was it.
"Oh Khushi, you are like a kid, so innocent, the reason I love you. I need RS, she is the Rani to the Raizada house. When I married her, I thought that money would always keep me happy but then you walked into my life." he took a step towards her, trying to bridge the gap between them, trying to explain to her the hold she had on his life.
"I fell in love with you the day I saw you on TV and I knew you were to be my lovely wife. A beautiful wife, complete in every respect." extending a hand to touch her face, caress her soft skin, but she side steeped him avoiding contact.
"You will not run away from me Khushi, you are MINE."
The conviction with which Shyam spoke these words made her shiver. She knew it, he would do anything to win her.
She was a prize, something that was enticing but unachievable. The chase, the rush accompanying the chase and the thrill in the game drove Shyam. He would not stop at finish line, he would stop after he was awarded his trophy and till That point in time, he was unstoppable.
"I have surpassed every boundary to reach to you and you will be mine. I stayed at your house, listening to stupid Buaji and her rants, tended to you when you were ill, helped you with your office work and supported your family. You owe me."
"Nothing, I owe you nothing. I never asked for any of it. You did it of your own free will."
"And For you I have become a criminal." he continued as if Khushi had never spoken a smirk playing at his lips.
"What???"
"What did you do? Whom...whom did you hurt?" a different desperation resounded in her voice, a fear mingled with hatred.
"I thought bringing your babuji and amma would help me with you. I never knew that your babuji would be so interfering! You know he saw right through me."
"You know I could not afford it. I could not let him come in between us."
"Babuji..." Khushi's voice dimmed with this piece of information. She had brought this upon her family. After all the love and compassion Babuji had shown her he had suffered this as repayment of all his deeds. May be buaji was right, she mush be an ill omen to every family she became a part of.
Arnav saw her shoulders slump and a light diminish inside her. He knew then, Shyam had gone too far with his obsession. Cheating, infidelity, marriage meant nothing in comparison to this misdeed. He could never undo this act, there was a solution to every misdeed he had spoken off apart from this... Hurting someone's parent. He thought he had been angry earlier, but at Shyam's words, a new fever overtook him, blood boiled in his veins and filled his head. His pulse increased and he could feel a vein throb at his temple.
La was shocked at his words. Hell, she knew the importance of Khushi's parents in her life and this piece of news would devastate her. She signaled to Arjun to step in all this had gone too far and rest could be known without inflicting pain to Khushi.
Arjun was annoyed previously but now he was pissed. What the hell did that man do? Did his madness have no bounds? He saw Khushi crumble in front of his eyes and he felt it was time to step in. He had let it go too far. He had got all the evidence required to give him a life term. It was more than he had expected but at what cost he was yet to know.
"Yes your Babuji. He thought he could intimidate me but look what I did to him. He followed me, now he cannot walk." he sneered his mask of godness slipping away.
"Nothing can stop me from making you mine. Not your babuji, not my marriage to RS and not even You." His sweet voice lost its charm to transform into the his original repulsive harsh voice. A voice that reflected the inner most feelings of its owner.
Shyam made a grab for Khushi's hand to drag her to the mandir. It was time to begin the wedding. He could wait no longer.
Khushi was dazed but not immune to his filthy touch, though no words escaped her lips, she flinched at she saw his hand advance towards her and steer her. She tried to avoid it again but failed this time, he was quick and she was broken.
"Mr. Jha, I think you should not do that. Leave her." Arjun R. commanded.
"Think what is best for you at this point in time."
"I did not ask you to come with me to watch this drama. Hold him back." Shyam commanded to the goon who till now stood in the shadows.
The goon moved forward at Shyam's words and looked at Arjun as he advanced towards his prey.

Shyam did not know how the tables had turned but the captor was now the one entwined in his own net.
He was held back by the goon that he had hired while he was dealt a hard blow to the stomach by the detective. Bile rose in his stomach as he felt a well aimed punch hit him in the stomach, knocking the air out of him. A second punch aimed at his diaphragm squeezed the remaining in his lungs out of him and darkness enveloped him.
Arnav stood rooted to the spot by a restraining hand of La and his conscience. He claimed to love the woman he had failed to protect and that prevented him to meet her. He failed to earn her trust and for that he could not meet her eyes. The reminder of all the harsh words he had flung her way in his anger made him hang his head low in regret.
La's instructions were clear. Whatever may happen, do not let ASR in front of Shyam. If the plan failed, they would loose their element of surprise and even if they succeeded they still needed ASR factor to remain a surprise till Shyam was exposed to the world and not just ASR himself. La knew Khushi needed Arnav the most but she could not let Arnav go and the little resistance ASR offered helped to strengthened her resolve.
"Take him away." Arjun commanded to the goon holding the Unconscious body of Shyam.
A broken sob escaped into the night air, a slow heart wrenching word that set Arnav's world back into motion,
"Babuji..."
And then, the world around Khushi turned darker as she closed her eyes, resigning to reality.
As Arnav saw Khushi's eyes close and her body slack he rushed towards her, all thought leaving him as instinct kicked in and he had her safe in his arms before she could hit the ground.
"Khushi... Khushi..." he called out to her and lifted her into his arms protectively. She had faced enough, he would be there for her now.
"Wait here ASR, I will get the car."
Arjun stood there witnessing that had transpired. Though he had been closer to Khushi, his back was to her as he gave instructions for Shyam and had not failed to notice Khushi's state.
He saw here, a broken and bleeding heart, ghastly pale in the moon light cradled in the arms of the man whom she wished to prove her innocence. He knew then, she loved him, even though she did not accept her feelings, she loved him and like the fortunate few, her Love was reciprocated unlike his, unlike many millions around the world.
Life played cruel jokes, once that found love never had the peace to enjoy it and the others craved for it as they saw their love in the arms of another.

Arnav placed Khushi in the backseat of La's car and sat besides her, cradling her body.
"Don't worry. She will be fine. She has suffered alot today and I guess that is all she can take. Let her mind protect itself. She will be up in no time." Arjun commented from the front seat of the car a note of care in his voice.
Arnav did not reply to his words, not ready to trust anyone just yet. H just needed his Khushi to be OK.

As the morning sun rose, a refreshed Khushi awoke, the memories of the previous evening in an unknown vault, to find herself in the arms of the man she had dreamed about last night. She had imagined his strong arms around her body, his voice whispering sweet words to her and a kiss on her forehead that had seemed to real even in her dream and felt an all too familiar Dhak Dhak in her chest, in his presence.
His head rested on hers while his hand was snaked around her shoulders pulling her closer to him while her head rested on his arm. She noticed dark circles under his eyes and a furrowed brow highlighted on his face. Instinctively, she wanted to caress his cheek, trace the dark circles under his eyes and straighten out his brow.
She dis entangled herself from him, unsure of how he got here and maybe this must be a weird dream of hers.
As she changed, the bruises on her arms had her mind reeling and the whole world crashed down again. The memory of the previous evening burnt her mind and tears fell on the floor as she tried in vain to gain even a semblance of control over herself.
Her last memory was that of Arnav, a mad desperation no his face as he ran towards her. His presence in this room implied that he believed in her, atleast he did not hold her responsible for all that had occurred. Now, however, a different guilt had taken the place of this, her Babuji and fresh tears made a course down her cheeks.
"I did this to him." ran in her head like a cd on loop and her head swam again.
"Khushi..." Arnav's voice rang in the silence of the house, a tad bit louder than required, laced with fear.
Khushi stepped out of the bathroom to find Arnav standing in front of her before she was enveloped into a warm beat hug. It expressed everything he could not put into words, his apology, guilt, regret, sadness, relief, love just everything and she broke down in his arms releasing all the emotions that had been buried deep inside her.
"Why did you leave Khushi? You should have come to me?" Arnav said after a long while.
"You would not believe me. Would you have believed me?" her simple reply and her question had Arnav reeling. He stood there hands wrapped around her protectively still holding her to his chest as guilt throbbed in his heart.
He knew then, he needed to learn to trust. Trust not just people but also trust on their trust. He could never live a life he had imagined as a child - A successful man with a family. Though he had given up on that dream long ago, shut it into an inaccessible vault and thrown away the key, his dream had resurfaced with the bloom of his feelings for Khushi. He knew he had a long way ahead to achieve that dream but he wanted it to be fulfilled with a fierce determination and for that he needed to trust. He had found the best teacher his Khushi to teach him, he taught him to love, she could teach him to trust.
"But still... Don't ever leave me, don't do this to me again. Don't you ever leave me again", his words had a ring of authority but between the folds was a plea. Words that said, "I can't live without you."
He cupped her face and looked into the brown orbs he had come to adore over time for it always reflected happiness.
What he saw reflected in them, startled him, the eyes that held pain a few minutes ago now held nothing. They stared at him without a flicker of emotion. He had lost more than a few weeks with her, looking into the vast expanse of her eyes, he realized he had LOST his innocent Khushi to the the insolent apathetic world.
"Chote, I need to tell you something!"
*
"ASR, we need to talk!"
*
"Khushi! Talk to me dammit!"
*
"Saalesaheb!"
