now the story...part --3
Life of a Boxer

now arman's chain of thought broke by a phone call...it was abhimanyu...

abhimanyu : "arman,plz.hospital aa jao...emergency hai...

when arman reached hospital abhi said to go 'new sanjiwani' at nawi mumbai.
abhimanyu : "arman,wahan ki locality mein achanak 'swine flu' fail gaya hai. abhi wahan kuch doctors ki jarurat hai,dr.sashank ne mujhe aur tumhe wahan duty join karne ko kaha hai,abhi nikalna hoga.

arman : "ok.dr.abhimanyu..its not a problem for me.
they reached the 'new sanjiwani' and started to attend the patient quickly.

next morning

dr.abhi : "chalo arman,yahan ke doctors se tumhe milata hun.mai to yahan aata rahta hun,so all doctors are my friends."

arman ; "ok,chaliye."

they came in dr. mohit's cabin,where all doctors were gathered for a meeting.
dr.abhi : " hey arman,first meet my sister dr.riddhima..the best cardialogist in this hospital."
arman was stunned!!..riddhima!!!uska pyar!'uski life mumbai mein hi hai aur usey pata bhi nahi!"
dr.riddhima : ' hello bhai...aur mai inhe janti hun,ye dr.arman hain"..suddenly she said,"mujhe jana hoga,emergency.."
abhi ; "ok,riddhima,baad mein milte hain."
dr.riddhima:"sure bhai." she left...
arman could n't utter a word!!..dr.sashank didn't tell him about riddhima...perhaps he didn't want arman disturb riddhima again.okay,if riddhima is happy with her married life,arman won't come in front of her. he always wants the happiness of riddhima.

...

riddhima came in firescape and started to crying bitterly...why!why!arman again came in front of her!after her wedding,dr.sashank told her that arman loved her. she always thought of him her best friend.but after marry with siddhant, she felt that she missed arman. siddhant loved her so much,but when siddhant came close to her,she wished if it would be arman!she didn't know ,why this feeling always arose in her heart. after being away from him,she felt arman's value in her life. but she always remembered that how she broke his heart ! when she came back india after siddhant's death,aryan met her and told all about arman and she felt a guilty about spoiling arman's life.

At evening after attending many patients,arman was very tired.he was also feeeling many cats and rats are jumping in his stomach'so he came in the canteen and ordered a plate of pasta and black coffee and sat in the corner table.suddenly he saw a boy around 5 years was making 'dhamal choukri'and a lady with him trying to manage ,but she was not able to resist on him.he was continuesly saying.."mujhe cappuccino pina hai ,pina hai,pina hai'."

The lady," beta,mom ko pata chala to wo mujhe dantegi."

Boy:" aap batayengi keun?aur mai toh nahi bataunga na.'

Arman smiled on his cleverness'.he came to him and said,"hi,I am arman mallick".

Boy stared him for a minute and said,"mummy ka spy ho kya?"

Arman : "mai to aapki mummy ko janta bhi nahi,koun hai aapki mom?"

Boy : " promise karo,mom ko mere baare mein kuch nahi bataoge'"

Arman: "promise'
Boy;"ok,friends?"
Arman caught his little hand.."ya,friends.'

The lady.."chalo baba ,mummy ko pata chala to dantegi".

Ridhan whispered to arman ; "mai kal school ke baad around 11o'clock yahan aaunga..

Arman also whispered.."ok,tab hum cappuccino piyenge'

The boy winked to him and left ''.

At riddhima's house

Riddhima : "bi, ridhan ne kuch sararat toh nahi ki na?"
Bi:" nahi,canteen mein coffee pine ki jid kar raha tha ,but ek dr. aa gaye toh baaton hi baaton mein bhul gaya.'
Riddhima : "hmmm..
Bi : "kuch arman mallick naam bata raha tha,baba ke saath toh uski friendship bhi ho gayi."

Riddhima sprang up from her bed'."armaan!! nahi,usey ridhan ko usse dur rakhna hoga.ridhan usse milega toh shayad riddhima bhi uske najdeek chali jayegi aur arman apni jindagi mein kaafi aage badh chuka hai'.8 years beet chuke hain, shayad arman ne riddhima ka place kisi aur ko de diya hai.riddhima uski life feer se spoil nahi kar sakti."

She said to bi.."kal se aap ridhan ko hospital mat le aana.jab tak mai na kahun."
Bi :"ji,thik hai.

Next 2 days arman waited for ridhan,but he didn't came'.arman was very tensed about him and when he enquired about him,totally shocked to know that he is riddhima's son and his father was died in a road accident.

He was feeling a strange relation with ridhan'.he understood that riddhima didn't want any touch of him in their life'.he noticed that when he was in the hospital,riddhima always avoided him. But riddhima's attitude made him mad'"why?..keun riddhima?...mai itna bhi to bura nahi,aaj se 8 years pahle maine tumhari ek baat nahi mani,iski itni bari saza?"

One day,when riddhima was in night duty,he secretly went to see ridhan.ridhan was very happy to see him.he complained about her mom,played with him ,showed his collection of toys,cartoon pics and took the promise to meet him everyday and slept in his arm. Bi was also very happy to see him.she said.."baba,apne papa ko bahut miss karta hai."

Arman:'kya ridhan ko apna papa yaad hai?"
Bi :"nahi beta,wo to sirf 2 saal ka tha,jab wo accident hua'isliye jab bhi koi dr.dekhta hai,kahta hai.."mere papa bhi aise they na nanna.'

Arman : 'aap kab se inke saath ho?

Bi : " maine hi riddhima ko pala hai beta,feer jab iski saadi hui to sir ne mujhe saath jane ko kaha'.kabhi usne apni ma ko nahi dekha,ab agar wo saadi nahi kar legi,to baba ko bhi papa ka pyar nahi milega."

And next 1 week ,everyday arman came their house to play with ridhan,cause riddhima had night duty.one day ridhan asked him with an excitement."uncle,aap ne mumma se dosti kar li?"

Arman : "keun beta,aapko aisa keun laga?"

Rihan showed him an album which was full of their college life's pics. Ridhan said.."ye dekho,aap mumma ke saath.mumma isey khud dekhti hai aur mujhe nahi dikhati,aaj mumma ise almari mein rakhna bhul gayi."

Arman surprised to see that riddhima wrote on every pics.."arman,I miss you,I love you arman'plz.forgive me.plz. come back in my life,I need you."

Tears were flowing from his eyes'."to riddhima,tum bhi mujhe pyar karti ho?ab mai tumse dur nahi rah sakta riddhima'.ab mai tumhe kho nahi sakta'."he kissed ridhan's cheeks and said.."beta,aap apne papa ko bahut miss karte ho na?"

Riddhan streched his hands,"bahooot!.'

Arman lifted him in his arm,:"agar mai aapka papa ban jaun to?"
Riddhan kept his both hand around arman's neck and kissed his cheek'." I love you papa.promise karo,mujhe chodkar nahi jaoge?"
Arman hugged him tightly.."promise my son'. love you too."

Life of a Boxer

Next day,as usual riddhima tried to make distance from arman''but arman was arman!'.at evening when riddhima came in corridor searching dr.abhi,suddenly she felt someone shut her mouth with his palm and dragged her in the firescape'.

Now she was pushed against a wall and was shocked to see arman in front of her with either hand on the wall next to her.

Riddhima tried to free from his grip'"plz.arman,mujhe jaane do,ridhan ghar mein akela hai.

Arman :"huh!!tumhe sachmuch uske akelepan ka khyal hai!

His words made her angry.."mai uski ma hun'mujhe nahi to tumhe khyal hoga kya?

Arman: "to tumhe is baat ka khyal nahi ki us masoom ko papa ka pyar bhi chahiye.

Life of a Boxer

Riddhima (angrily):"his papa has died'aur koi usey papa ka pyar nahi de sakta.aur irresponsible person toh kabhi nahi."

Her words made arman so angry that he hit the wall hard'."ok,mai irresponsible hun,but maine iske liye kisi ki bhi life spoil nahi ki.aur aaj bhi tum mujhe waisa hi samajhti ho? Kya koi badal nahi sakta."

Riddhima glared at him a while and said.."nahi,aadaten kabhi badli nahi ja sakti,dr.arman'..bash kuch dino ke liye chori ja sakti hai'

Arman was so hurt that he loosend his grip and riddhima left the place'

"okay riddhima,agar tum mera wo image bhul nahi sakti,mujhe apna nahi sakti to mai bhi keun khud ko badalne ki koshish karun."...arman mumbled greeting his teeth."dr.arman mallick ,khud ko itna hurt karo ki dill ke jakhm feel hi na ho,apni life apni khushi se jio,kisi ko koi farak nahi parta,tum kuch bhi karo."..

...

Riddhima was lying on the bed with closed eyes,but tears were flowing from her eyes."tumne aisa keun kiya riddhima?jab arman ne apna hath badhaya,to tumne mana keun kiya?she questioned herself and her heart answered at once'"shayad arman sympathy dikha raha tha,aur dr.riddhima ko kisi ki sympathy nahi chaiye.wo ji legi ridhan ke sath."

Ridhan came and sat beside riddhima.."mumma,papa nahi aaye?'

Riddhima was shocked.."ridhan,ye kya kah raha hai beta?"

Ridhan (happily);"mumma,aapne kaha tha mere papa ab kabhi nahi aayenge,but wo aa gaye..i love him mumma."

Riddhima :"kiski baat kar raha hai beta?"

Ridhan :"mere papa.."dr.arman mallick,wahi mere papa hain.and my papa is best papa,wo mujhe bahut pyar karte hain.'

Suddenly mobile rang'abhi is other side..

Abhi : "riddhima, tumne arman se kuch kaha kiya?wo feer se khud ko hurt karne gaya hai,morning mein to bahut khush tha,kah raha tha mujhe ek pyara sa beta mila hai dr.abhimanyu,ab bas riddhima ko manana hai and I know wah mana nahi karegi,aur feer kuch der pahle aaya'he was mumbling."meri kisi ko jarurat nahi'mai jeun ya marun ,kisi ko parwah nahi."

Riddhima fumbled.."bhai..wo..wo..

Dr.abhi(sighly) :"dekho riddhima,mai sab janta hun..siddhant mera bhai tha,usey mai tumse kuch kum pyar nahi karta tha.but ab wo wapas nahi aa sakta.tumhe aur ridhan ko ek strong saharey ki jarurat hai,and I think arman is perfect for you."

Riddhima(worriedly) : "wo kahan gaya hai?"
Abhi : "wahi,street fighting'..
Riddhima got up quickly and called bi'"bi,aap ridhan ka khyal rakhna,mai abhi aati hun..

''''''''''''.

When riddhima reached that place where street fighting was performing'she saw with a fear that the oppsite fighter hit arman horriedly and arman was not opposing him'as if he came there to hurt himself,not for fighting'.riddhima entered in the ring and tried to stop the fighter and accidently the fighter hit her..and she fell on the ground and fainted at once '.it made arman furious'he stood up and hit the fighter so hard that he fell out of the ring''..

Arman was injured so much,but its no matter for him...he picked up riddhima in his arm and ran towards hospital''.

When riddhima gain consious,she saw that arman was sitting beside her ,caught her hand and crying silently'.

Riddhima uttered in a low tone.."arma'aa'n'..
Arman (with choked voice) : " kaisi ho riddhima?..

Riddhima lifted her hand and caressed arman's wound : "mai thik hun,tumhe bahut chot lagi hai arman'

Arman (with moist eyes) ;: "sirf bahar ki chot hi dikhti hai tumhe riddhima?

Riddhima : "sorry,maine tumhara bahut dill dukhaya'mai bahut buri hun na'

Arman caressed her hair'"meri best friend kabhi bhi buri nahi ho sakti'she is the best'

Riddhima caught his hand'"riddhan apne papa ka wait kar raha hai arman'he said that arman mallick is his papa'.the best papa in this world'..

Arman( surprisingly)"riddhima,tumne! Tumne mujhe apna liya!

Riddhima(smiled) : " will you marry me dr.mallick?

Arman kissed her hand.."sure riddhima'''''

Epilogue

Dr.abhi : "dr.sashank ,good news..aapne jis kaam ke liye bheja tha,ho gaya hai'we have been succeded to make "AR" together'.

Dr sashank (overjoyed) :" thank god! Thanks dr. modi'aapne mujhe itni bari help ki '.

Dr.abhi : " sir,maine bas apni choti sis ko ek nayi jindagi,ek loving husband paane mein help ki aur mere pyare nephew ko uska papa'..aap saadi ki taiyariyan kijiye'mai inko lekar jaldi hi wapas aata hun'..'..
