DK stopped the car

In the middle of the road

D: Why did you stop here?

DK took out a blindfold

D: what's this?

DK: Tie it around your eyes!

D: What?!!…why?!!

DK: Because it's a surprise

D: But…

DK stuck out his lower lip

DK: Please!!

Disha looked at him

Sighed

Then put it on

DK made sure it was tight

Then continued driving

About five minutes later

Disha heard DK turn off the engine,

Get out of the car,

Come to her side,

And open the door

D: DK…?

A second later she felt DK

Wrap his hands round her arm

DK: Come on…

He helped her out the car

And took her into a large house

When they got inside

He let go of her

Disha put her arms out

D: DK!! Where are you?!!

She felt DK take of the blind

Disha opened her eyes

And was confused

They were in someone's house

D: Whose house is this?…and what are we doing here?

DK put his arms round her

DK: This is papa's house…we all used to live here…but a while ago they shifted to Mumbai, and since then it's been closed!

Disha looked around

D: But it looks like it's been open forever

DK: I've had 50 people working here since yesterday, to make sure this was ready in time!

He smiled at her

DK: I couldn't keep you longer in Goa…but I can keep you longer with me!!!

Disha was touched that DK did all this for her

She hugged him

Vedant and Rano had got home safely

No-one asked about DK and Disha

Cause the family knew they were on their honeymoon

Only Vedant didn't remember that it was for two weeks!

Vedant and Rano were in a caf

V: if you want more ice-cream, then I'll get you some…but you have to tell me where brother and bhabhs are!!

R: No…cause you're broke…and no cause you'll go there!!!!

V: but why?!!

R: Vedant…once you get there…you'll start your marriage counselling…which they don't need!!!

V: well at least I did something to bring them together…and it was working!!!

R: yeah…for you!!…Di was in the kitchen all day, trying to fill you up…and all poor jiju could do was to watch you stuffing your mouth!!!

V: hey!!

DK and Disha returned home

a week later

Vedant was still grumpy

cause Rano hadn't told him

where they went

but he soon brightened up

when Disha made him his favourite dish

V: Wow bhabhi!!!

You're the best cook in the world!!!

Maharaj came in

M: I thought it was me!!

DK: Really? He was saying exactly the same thing to maa!! Shame on you Vedant!!

V: Mom!!

Gargi: stop teasing the poor kid!!

DK: Kid?!! He's taller than me…but he's still a kid!!

D: Of course!!

She put a laddoo in Vedant's mouth

DK: Oh I see how it is!!!

D: DK!!

V: see brother!! Everyone loves me in the family!!

DK: we'd love you more if you lost some weight!!

V: Maa!

D/Sum/G: DK!!!

DK gave an innocent look

DK: I'm just saying!!

Some time later

Disha went into Vedant's room

She wanted to ask him something

Suddenly

She bumped into a small table

D: Ow!!!

Some of the books feel on the floor

Disha quickly bent down to pick 'em up

She put them back on the table

And noticed a photo

She turned it around

And was stunned to see a picture of Rano!!!

Vedant came out the bathroom

And saw Disha sitting on his bed

V: Bhbahs?

Disha stood up and glared at him

He knew something was wrong

V: Uh…what happened?

D: First you tell me what this is!!!!!

Angrily

She held up Rano's photo

In front of his face!!

D: what was this doing with your books!!

Vedant was lost for words

Part 43


V: Bhabhi…I can explain!!

Disha held up her hand

And silenced him

D: I know what all this is about!!! And why you and Rano were ready to spend so much time together in Goa!! Vedant, what you two have done is wrong!!!

V: No bhabhs I…

D: I don't want to hear anything!! You're definitely getting punished for this!! I'll talk to mamma and make sure that you two can't meet each other…until you get married!!!

Vedant only heard the first part

And he was all sad

V: Bhabhs…

He looked up and saw Disha's smiling face

Then it all sunk in

V: What?!!...you mean…

She nodded

Vedant smiled

And gave her a tight hug!!

V: You're the best bhabhs in the world!!

D: I won't be if you don't let me breath!!

V: Whoops!!...sorry bhabhs!

He let go off her

V: thanks bhabhs!!

D: You're welcome!!

She walked into her room

And found DK engrossed in his work

She put his arms round him

And gave him a kiss on the cheek

DK was surprised

DK: What's this for?

D: I've got some good news for you!

DK: What?

D: your brother…

DK: Hmm…

D: And my sister…

DK: Hmm…

D: Are in love!!

DK was shocked!!

DK: What?!!

Disha nodded

After some silence

DK: Wow!

Disha was confused at his reaction

DK Noticed

DK: Well it's not every day that your sister-in-law makes the biggest mistake of her life!!

D: DK!! That's so mean!!

DK laughed

DK: I was only joking…I'm happy for them!!

D: Yeah…me too!!...mamma's invited everyone for dinner tonight…so I'll talk to her then!!

Sorry guys…but my brain went dead at this point and couldn't continue!!
