Yes in the hospital, he behaved rudly with her cause he missed her / felt her as much as he did for his mistimia and he feel sit is a sacred relation between him & Misti and can't share the same wave length with a rude Geet. So end result he snapped out of his spel.

In fact I loved it that he can't bring in some one else in place of his misti.
