Later on in the day Arnav decided to go to the college caf. He saw Khushi sitting with her laptop listening to music.

"I should go and talk to her" Arnav said to himself as he walked over to her.

Khushi was trying to concentrate on her assignment for class when she felt someone's presence. She looked up and saw Arnav standing next to the table.

"Arnav, Hi how are you?, take a seat" said Khushi pointing to the seat across from her. Arnav sat down and started thinking about how to say what he was thinking

"Yo, why do you look so worried man?" asked Khushi .

"No, Not at all, I am fine" Arnav lied. I really care about her and I want to help her deal with what she is struggling with but asking her straight away is not the right thing to do. She barely knows me.

"I just wanted to know how..uh .. you are?" asked Arnav as he turned a brighter shade of red

"I am fantastic" said Khushi confused. "Are you okay?", you look like a tomato.

"I do?" asked Arnav touching his face.

"Yup" said Khushi with a wide smile

Her smile gave him reassurance and he smiled too.

Arnav put out his hand. "Friends?"

Khushi stared at his hand and then at his face and then after a second she put out her hand to shake his.

"Friends" she said.

Satisfied Arnav sat back in his seat.

Unknown to both of them someone was watching them with a furious look on their face.
