So here goes. The update! This basically starts after Anjali calls Arnav at work to tell him that Kushi resigned and that she has announced her engagement to Snake!

Diwali Night SS: Part 4 - Arnav finds out about Kushi's engagement

Arnav:WHAT? SHE WHAT?

Anjali: Uff' Chote'. I already told you once. Kushiji came to resign because her marriage has been fixed! I had to tell her that she didn't need to resign coz Lavanya has already left. By the way' I need you to write a cheque for Kushiji's last salary! I told her I will send it to her house through JP.

Arnav: There is no need Di. I will make sure she gets it myself! I have a lot of work Di. Bye'With that Arnav hung up on his sister.

His head was spinning and his brain was going into overdrive? What the hell just happened? SHE is getting MARRIED? To WHOM and since WHEN? How did this happen? He was completely shocked, confused, hurt and most of all murderously jealous! He didn't know WHO this guy was' but he had ANOTHER thing coming if HE thought that Arnav Singh Raizada would let Kushi Kumari Gupta marry ANYONE but him??

Kushi was HIS! ONLY HIS! Even the thought of another man being NEAR Kushi was enough to make Arnav want to throw up and then start to break everything in sight! He didn't even KNOW he was capable of such jealous rage! He had NEVER felt jealousy in his life before! It was NOT a feeling he cared for! He felt even more out of control than he had felt when he was trying to grapple with his feelings for Kushi! This emotion totally sucked! (He didn't have a better word to describe it).

He HAD to see her. He needed to find out how she would DARE to think she can marry another man?

Slow down Arnav' I know you are angry, but SHE doesn't know how you feel about her does she?

EVEN SO' she had had MANY chances to tell him that there was talk of her marriage and she had not done so! (The logical side of his brain told him that it was not possible that Kushi would tell him something like that? But the part that was the jealous man madly in love with her told him that she had KEPT this from him).

HE deserved an explanation dammit! Here he had called things off with Lavanya so that he can finally tell Kushi how he felt about her and they can start to build a relationship'.. And she goes and ANNOUCES her engagement?

No he was NOT going to let this go. He was going to DEMAND an explanation from her.

He took the phone and dialled her home number.

Kushi picks up her home phone: Hello?

Arnav: In 20 minutes a car will be outside your house. Get into it and come and meet me! Don't even THINK about trying to get away from seeing me, coz if you don't come to ME I will come to YOUR house! And trust me Kushi I will create a scene.

Kushi: BUT'..

Arnav: "Aiysa thamasha kada kardunga keh sab dekte rehejayenge" Do you get it? 20 minutes'.

And then the phone went dead! Kushi just kept staring at it! He wanted to meet her? What was going on?

Kushi was totally lost! Arnav wanted to meet her and he was sending a car! If SHE didn't go to him HE would come here? She knew that the person on the phone had not been Arnav' it had been ASR! She should know better than to take his threats lightly! She KNEW he would do what he said and come here if she didn't go. God only knew what he would do IF he DID come here! She will never be able to live it down if he created a scene in front of her family and neighbours! She could not let that happen.

So Kushi went and got ready and told her sister that she had to go to AR to get her final paycheque. (Just as well she had an excuse). She said that Arnav ji had called and told her that a car was coming to get her so she can come to AR and collect her cheque. (She also went to the trouble of telling her sister that this car was already in the neighbourhood running some errand for the AR office, so Arnav had told the driver to come get her). She didn't want her sister to suspect anything else! Even SHE didn't know what was happening, so how was she to tell Payal? Plus she assumed she WAS going to AR, as Arnav could not have meant that she was to meet him at RM?

On cue, the car came bang on 20 minutes. Kushi went and got into the back seat and she was being driven down the streets of Dehli. The driver took a turn she was not familiar with. (She instinctively knew they where NOT going to AR).

In about 20 minutes they reached an entrance to a hotel. Kushi recognised it as the same place that she and Lavanya had come for some party a few weeks ago. The same place that Arnav had apologised to her!

She was let out at the main entrance by the driver. She got down and walked into the reception area. A women came from behind the reception counter and said..

"Miss Kushi Gupta"?

Kushi: Yes?

Receptionist: Mr. Raizada is waiting for you in the Gazebo. I will show you the way.

Kushi: I know the way. Thank you.

With this, Kushi starts to walk toward the Gazebo hesitantly. She didn't know why but she almost felt afraid. She knew he was angry! He had SOUNDED angry on the phone. That super soft low tone he used when he was really mad! She just didn't know what to expect!

She was sure of one thing though. It would be ASR waiting for her here, not Arnav!

Precap:

Arnav pulled away from Kushi. Her lips were slightly parted and swollen from his kiss.He looked into her eyes that looked glazed with desire.. For HIM!

"How can you kiss me like that and even THINK of marrying another man?" Answer me dammit!

OK so this was a short update! Now for the best part' the encounter between Arnav and Kushi! Please give me a bit of time to get this one right! I don't want to disappoint anyone. But I promise I will get you an update in 24 if possible!
