Part 12

Unknown or well known Strangers'

[The last time when the truth of Sandrokottos or CGM is exposed to Cornelia, she was in complete shock' Although she was in doubt about his real identity but still she didn't expect him to be Sandrocottos himself' The one who is the cause of her father's misery and humiliation' But she didn't react that time at all!! '. So ' as planned'. They started their Journey to Macedonia' In few days they reached the Palace of Seleucus in outer Greece'. But still they were not in the main city' Thoughout the journey Cornelia didn't even try to talk to CGM atleast once' This was a surprise to CGM as he had seen her in the forest and according to his prediction, the volano should have bursted out till now but it was quite dormant']

Outside a Palace' In Morning

Cornelia: Ahhh!!!! Ghar se behtar aur koi sthan nahin is vishwa mein!!! Pata hai main is samay kya karna chahti hoon???

Omegas: Bolne ki aavashyakta nahin' aapke liye rath aur ghode taiyaar rakhwa diye hain' Aap bhraman ke liye jab chahe tab jaa sakti hain'

Cornelia: Aur''.

Omegas: Aur aaka priya ashwa bhi taiyaar rakhwaya hai!!!

[she turned and was about to leave when she again turned towards Omegas and said]

Pata hai Omegas!!!!! Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki tum mujhe aur mere hriday ko mujhse bhi behtar jaante ho!!! Mere sabse achche mitra!!!!!

Omegas: [in low voice] Kaash tum bhi kabhi jaan paati!!!!!!!!!! Mere man aur hriday ko!!!!! Dekh paati ki ye sirf mitrata nahin hai''.

Cornelia: Kuch kaha tumne???

Omegas: nahin to' kuch bhi toh nahin' aur agar kuch kehta bhi toh'. Tum nahin sun paati'.

Cornelia: Arthat????

Omegas: Kuch nahin''.

Cornelia: Tum bhi ek vichitra vastu ho!!! [then moves towards the place where Omegas had arranged the horse and cart]

Meanwhile ' at the other door of palace'

Seleucus [to CGM]: Ye humare rajya ke baahar sthit wo mahal hai jiska upyog hum tab karte hain jab kisi lambi yatra se laut rahe hon.. ya kisi lambi yatra par jaa rahein hon' hum kuch din yahaan ruk kar vishram karenge phir Macedonia ke pramukh mahal par chalenge'. Aapko koi aapatti???

CGM: Bhala isme humein kya aapatti ho sakti hai???? Balki ye to ek uttam vichaar hai' Isse sainiko ko thoda vishram bhi milega'. [moving towards Chanakya] Thik hai na Acharya??

Chanakya: Haan'..[then looking suspiciously towards Seleucus] Kuch adhik hi uttam vichaar hai!!!

[soon they all move inside the palace while CGM notices Cornelia going towards the opposite direction where the princess' Palace was situated. As soon as CGM entered his room, CGM couldn't hold himself and felt asleep on the bed as he was too tired to think anymore' After a few hours of deep sleep he woke up and found that it was almost afternoon and he was alone in his room]

CGM: Lagta hai ki mujhe neend aa gayi thi' Jo bhi ho' Mujhe ab bina samay nasht kiye Amatya ke bare mein pata lagaana chahiye' Parantu usse pehle Acharya ko dhoondhna hoga' jiske liye bahaar nikalna chahiye..

[Thinking this, he went out of the palace and was quite amazed at the beauty of Greece which he didn't notice earlier due to his weariness. ]

CGM saw huge fountains at midst of which huge statues of Greek Gods and Goddesses made up of white marbles were placed. For one moment he couldn't take his eyes off the beautiful sculptures placed at almost every corner of the palace. On his way of going out of that palace, he was mesmerized by the beauty of Greece. But soon his face had to change its expressions when he saw two girls standing with two boys who looked somewhere between 15 or 16 in age' Much to his surprise one of those girls was Helen!!! He decided to go closer and listen to what they were talking about' So moved nearer and hid himself behind a tree'[but to his disappointment, they were talking in Greek!!!]

Alex: Helen!!!! Kya tum sach mein chahti ho ki hum aisa karein???

CGM[in mind]: Ye log toh Greek bhasha mein vartalaap kar rahein hain'.. Abhi is ne jo bhi kaha usme se keval ek hi shabd samajh mein aaya'."Helen"..

Antiochus: Haan!!! Mere ma mein bhi yahi prashn hai'. Tums ach mein chahti ho ki hum us pratispradha mein bhaag lein???

Cornelia: Kyon??? Nahin leni thi kya??

Alex: Aavashya leni thi'. Parantu humein laga ki tumhe is baat se inkaar hoga' tum nahin chahogi ki hum dono is mein bhaag lein!!!

Cornelia: Meri baat dhyaan se suno'.[then coming closer to them and placing her hands on each of their shoulders..] Main aisa isliye chahti hoon kyonki mujhe tum dono par purna vishwas hai!!! Ki tum dono keval jeetne ke liye' [then looking towards Antiochus]' Chchal ki sahayata nahin loge!!!!!!!! Waise bhi is pratispradha mein Greece ke hare k yuvak ka sammilit hona uska adhikaar hai' aur ye adhikaar tumse koi nahin chchin sakta!!! Samajh gaye'.

[a big smile comes on both the faces of Antiochus and Alexander' they both were about to leave when Cornelia stooped them by her words']

Aur ek baat dhyaan rakhna'''. Hercules se door raho!!!! Tum dono'. Khaaskar tum'. Antiochus'.

[they both then nodded their heads and moved away.. meanwhile CGM who was hiding behind a tree was trying his best to grab the conversation with the little Greek he knew'. But his Greek knowledge consisted of only two or three Greek words which included: Zeus, Helen and some other common Greek words]

Agatha:[in greek only] ye kis pratispradha ki baat ho rahi thi????

Cornelia: Agatha'. Dhairya rakho priye!! Dhairya!!! Samay aane par sab pata chal jaayega!!! Ab dekho na!!! inke kaaran main bhraman par bhi na jaa saki!!! [then moving towards the tree behind which CGM was hiding'.and leaning her back on that tree'just a few inches away from CGM][in hindi] Kabhi kabhi ichcha hoti hai ki kahin bhaag jaaun!!!! Thodi der ki shaanti toh mile' Ab dekho na' Ye Hercules Antiochus ko Alex ke virudhdha bhadka raha hai!!! Wahi toh main sochun ki Antiochus Alex se itni ghrina kyon karna laga hai'.??[saying this she turned sideways and VERY much to her surprise' She saw CGM standing there in a casual way' She was standing very close to him 'so, pushed herself back]

Cornelia: Tum??? Yahaan??? Chup kar humari baatein sun rahe the???

CGM: Main to keval thoda bhraman karne nikla tha!!!

Cornelia: Ohoho!!! To samrat ko jhooth bolne ke saath - saath'. Paryatan mein bhi ruche hai??? Kya baat hai!!!!!

CGM: Dekho main manta hun ki maine jhooth bola parantu paristhitiyaan hi aisi thi!!! Kya karta??

Cornelia: Paristhitiyaan???? Tumhe '..mera matlab' "aapko" kya lagta hai?? Main koi bhooki sherni thi jo aapka sahi naam sun kar aapko kha jaati???? Main kehti rahi '. Ki mujhe lagta hai ki aapne mujhe apna sahi parichay nahin diya hai'. Uske bavajood!!!!!! Sach nahin bataya!! Besharmi ki had hoti hai!!!

CGM: Dekho Devi!!!!!! Ab tum maryada laangh rahi ho!!!! Ismein besharmi ki kya baat huyi??? Aur aisa kahaan likha hai ki'. Ek anjaan van mein ek kanya se milne par'aur vo bhi aisi kanya jiska manasik santulan hila huya ho'. Use apni sahi pehchaan batana anivarya hai!!

Agatha: Van???? Ye kya ho raha hai????

Cornelia: Mera manasik santulan hila hua hai ????? haaa!!! Kabhi khud ki gatividhiyon ko dekha hai??? Bina soche samjhe kisi par jungliyon ki tarah aakraman kar dete ho!!! Aur mujhe paagal kehte ho???

CGM: Pata hai kya??? Tumse baat karna vyartha hai!!!!! Keval samay ki barbaadi!!!! Pata nahin'kaise maine tumhe puri ek raat jhel liya tha??? Iske liye toh mujhe puraskrit karna chahiye'. Main jaa raha hoon!!!

Cornelia: Haan toh jaao na!!! Tumse baatein karne mein ruchi kise hai??? Paas hi mein ek van hai' Wahan jaakar apne jaise kisi jungle pashu se baatein karo!!!! Agar vo pashu tumhe dekh kar jivit raha to!!!

[CGM was about to leave when he heard something from Agatha]

Agatha: ye kya ho raha hai Raajkumaari'.??? [but before she could complete Cornelia handled the situation by keeping her hands on Agatha's mouth]

Cornelia: aa..a.aaa Haan chalo Rajkumari Cornelia ke paas wahin ise bataaengi ki unki priya daasi se ulajhne ka kya parinaam hota hai???

[CGM stops' and thinks]

CGM [thinking]: Are ye main aise bhool gaya ki mujhe Amatya tak pahunchne ke liye Raajkumari Cornelia tak pahunchna hoga' Aur un tak Pahunchne ke liye mujhe unki iss uddand daasi ki shayata leni padegi!!! Chalo Chandragupta!!! Aage badho!!! Karo iss kanya se baat!!! Par is baar thoda thik se!!!

CGM[turning towards Cornelia]: Dekho humare beech job hi hua use kuch palo ke liye bhoolkar kya shaanti se baa tar sakte hain???

Cornelia: [in mind] Kahin ise sandeh to nahin ho gaya ki Main hi raajkumaari hoon??? Ye Agatha jab tak yahaan rahegi kuch na kuch gadbad karti rahegi!!! [To Agatha] Tum jaao Agatha!!! Main thodi der mein aati hoon'. Mahal mein meri pratiksha karna' Ab Jaao!!

Before leaving Agatha handles over the cup of sweet drink she prepared for her for giving which she went there and due to which Cornelia was unable to go for horse riding...]

Agatha: Ise pee lijiyega!!! [leaves]

Cornelia: [taking a sip of that drink] To bataiye!!! Kya baat karni hai aapko mujhse..[takes another sip]

CGM: Mujhe Rajkumaari Cornelia se milna hai!!!!!!!

[Listening this Cornelia gets shocked and in panic pukes out the drink in her mouth on CGM]

Cornelia: Kshama kijiyega!!! Main abhi thik kar deti hoon!!! Chaliye mere saath!!

CGM: [clenching his fist to control his anger] Iske liye bahut bahut dhanyawaad!!!! Devi!!!!!

[cornelia simply keeps her palms on her face in regret or more appropriate to say to hide her dumbstruck expressions]
