PART – 5

At Home

It was already late when they all returned from the Atharva's birthday party. Geet told Ameya & Aryaa to go to their room. Geet checked the Letter box there were 4-5 letters addressed to Maan whereas one letter in her name written as well-wisher. She then remembers that one letter she had & did not read it. She decided to read both the letters in absence of Maan & Children & kept the letter in her purse & others on centre table so that Maan can read it next morning.

Next morning

All of them were having their breakfast something was cooking in Ameya's mind.

Geet : Ameya what's going on have your breakfast fast, after that we have to check up with your books & uniform.

Ameya : But Mamma still 3 more days to start the school.

Geet : Haan toh????????

Maan : Ameya, what Mamma is saying that's true, you should start checking with your school baggage from ...tomorrow & check out Aryaa's too.

Geet : Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!

Ameya & Aryaa were happy as Maan gave one more day of doing masti to them

Ameya: yipeee Aryaa let us go to room & play there.

Aryaa nodes her head & they both leave from there.

Geet : Maan, yeh thik nahi kiya aapne.

Maan : Geet, how much time does it take for their school preparation, this time I will help you out fine,now smile & these shaitans are also not there be fast I am getting late.

Geet: U had your breakfast, (raising her eyebrows) what is that.

Maan : You only made a rule & you only forgot. He got up & came near to her.

Geet : but…..

Maan kept his finger on her lips. My day starts & ends with u Geet.

Geet : Maan you are getting late for office..

Maan : I know…. & started kissing her…..

At the same time Ameya & Aryaa came out of their room to say bye to Maan but Ameya was stunned by seeing them & he hurriedly closed Aryaa's eyes as he never saw Papa kissing like this earlier.

They have seen Papa kissing Mamma on her cheek. Aryaa shouted loudly at Ameya to remove his hand & at the same time, Maan & Geet came to sense.

Geet : Ameya, Aryaa you both here?

Aryaa, Ameya Keeping head down: came to say bye to Papa.

Aryaa making a baby face Papa my Kissi…

Maan: ( 😉 at Geet): how could I forget that…. & he knelt down kissed both Aryaa & Ameya on their cheeks. Maan's eyes were little teary, which were noticed by Geet.

Geet : Maan did anything went wrong.

Maan : Nothing & left for the office.

Ameya & Aryaa started to play again, Geet was in kitchen with her work.

After 2hrs Phone rang

Ameya (picked up the phone) Hello

Person : Hello… aapki Mummy hai

Ameya : Haan hai, par aap koun bol rahe ho.

Person : phone do.

Ameya : Mamma, call for you, but he is not telling his name..

Geet (took the call on the extension line in kitchen): Hello

Person : Mrs. Khurana…. Shaayad aapne woh letters padhe nahi…

Geet : Letters……… toh who aapne bheje hai.

Person : Haan,.. yehi batane ke liye phone kiya tha….

He disconnected the phone. Geet in her self thought…. I know Maan had told me everything about Mrs. Sharma, now what does this person wants to tell me. Let me finish my work fast so that I can read the letters.

It was Geet's routine she used to call Maan before lunch & today she called him but he was busy with meeting so she kept the message on cell to call her back immediately after the meeting. When Maan called her, Ameya & Aryaa were having lunch...

Maan : Geet kya baat hai….

Geet (felt his voice low) : Maan R U fine?

Maan : Nothing has happened to me dear, y are you tensed?

Geet : I dont know but I felt that something is disturbing you

Maan : cool down.. I will tell you at night. Be calm & have your lunch & take rest. I want to see your smiling face when I am back.

Geet : Ok. You had your lunch.

Maan : No I will have it now, see u in the evening.

Geet was feeling better after talking with Maan & she again got back to her work. After having lunch, she made Ameya & Aryaa to sleep in their room & went to her room. She remembers that she has to read the letters.

She opened the 1st letter wherein it was written as:-

Mrs. Khurana

Mr. Khurana alternately visit your Juhu Flat, it's not that he has visited today but many a times I have seen him there with a lady who is widow spending most of the hours there…. If you do not trust me, you can check it out by yourself whenever you can. I do not know whether you know about this or not but just to inform you I wrote this letter. Rest all depends upon you.

After reading the letter Geet was shocked, she knew that Maan would not hide anything from her. He had already told her about Mrs. Sharma staying there but meeting her alternately, that is not possible. She also remembered that Maan had come home late once; reason was that he was busy with office work. Many questions were going in her mind but one thing she was sure that Maan would not slip for any other woman then what this person wants to tell me. Anyways will wait until Maan tells me or else I can check it out by myself. She kept the letter aside & opened the 2nd one but it was the same letter as 1st so she didn't read that & kept both the letters in purse, was trying to sleep but couldn't make it so she went children's room & slept near Aryaa wrapping her hand around her…..

She was waiting to hear from Maan exactly what was going in his mind…
