Hi everyone, I'm so sorry about the late update. But to make it up to you I've tried to make it longer than my usual. : ). Let me know what you think.

Chapter 11:

One day they were alone at the sets as only they had to shoot for their scene. Amar thought of it as a good chance and pulled Shakti into the fire-escape.

Shakti: Kunwar yeh kya..

Amar: Sh! Shakti tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi?

Shakti (confused): Kya nahi bataya?

Amar: Yeh bhi tum pooch rahi ho ki kya? Wow! Kahan ja rahi hai tu? Who bhi mujhe aise akela chod ke?! Tum toh mjhse koi bhi baat nhi chupati chupati thi na Shaks . . Toh fir ab kya jo gaya? Yeh meri Shakti toh bilkul bhi nhi hai!

Shakti: Arey aisa kuch bhi nahi hai re. Mujhe khud usi din pata chala . . . Acha ab choro na un batoon ko.

Saying this Shakti started walking out but Amar pulled her from her waist.

Amar: Stop it Shakti, just stop it. Bahut ho gaya ab. Bas ab aur nahi . . . Aaj tum aise nhi ja skti.

Shakti: Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho Kunwar? Choro mujhe! Mujhe jaana hai . . .

Amar: No Shakti. Like I said, aaj nhi . .

There was silence for some time. They shared an intense eye lock! Amar broke the silence after a long 'Look Hawa Hawa' spell.

Amar: Acha yeh batao ki tumne mujhe mere aur Charlie ke patch up par wish kyun nhi kiya?

Shakti: Nahi wo . . Main . . Wo . . Haan . . . Main karne hi waali thi . .

Amar: Oh really? Kab karti, jaane ke baad? Waise acha hua ki Charlie dubarah aa gayi meri life mein.

All this while Shakti was getting hurt

Shakti: Kunwar mujhe ghar jane hai . . . We'll discuss this later . . . Please!

Amar: Kyun bura laga kya tumehin?

Shakti: Kunwar tum yeh kya keh rahe ho . . . meri kuch samajh mein nhi araha . . . And and and, mujhe kyun bura lagega? Huh!

Amar: Toh fir sun na Shaks . . . Tujhe pata hai main aur Charlie . . .

Shakti: Kunwar abhi mujhe jaana hai . . . Main tumhaari baatein baad mein sunoon gi . . .

Amar: Nhi main tumhein puri baat bataye bagher kahin jaane nahi dunga . . .

On one hand, Shakti was controlling her emotions, her tears, her feelings and there Amar was not able to understand why she was trying to go.

Amar: Haan to suno . . . Tujhe pata hai ki kal hum donoin long drive par gaye the aur phir movie saath mein movie dekhi and dinner kiya . . . Then hum Charlie ke ghar..

Shakti (pushing him): Why don't you understand Kunwar? Mujhe jaana hai!

Amar holds her from her waist and pulls her across his chest. She hit his chest.

Amar: Shakti, tumhein itna bura kyun lag raha hai?

Shakti (laughing nervously): You're imagining things Kunwar . . . Mujhe bura kyun lagega? Aisi koi bat nahi hai . . . Mujhe koi faraq nahi padta ki tum kiske saaath ho aur kiske saath nhi.

Amar: Acha? Matlab tumhein mere hone ya na hone se koi faraq nhi parta. Right?

Shakti (controlling herself): Right.

Amar (Tightening his hold on her): Oh, so jab main tumhein choota hoon toh you don't feel anything huh?

Shakti (nervously): Nope!

Amar (moving even more close to her and places kisses on her neck): So tumhein koi faraq nahi padta?

Shakti: No.

Amar (holds her face in his hands and moves forward aiming at her lips ): Kuch feel nahi hota?

Shakti just turned around and faced away from Amar and remained silent. Amar went forward and hugged her from behind. He slid his hand up from her waist and gently pulled her hair to one side. He bent down and gave kisses on her shoulder and neck. Shakti froze at this and started breathing heavily. She turned slowly and hugged Amar tightly. He gave a small smile and hugged her back and held her there like his life depended on her.

Amar: Shakti, why are you doing this? Kyun tum mujhe aise hi chodkar jaa rahi ho?

Shakti remained silent while tears escaped her eyes. Amar felt his shirt get wet and he pulled her back. Slowly with his one hand he slid off her tears and took her into a hug again.

"I love you Shakti!"
