Part 9

"Did you finish the work?...okay" he heard kripa coming in to the room, "fine bye" he said quickly and threw his cell phone on the bed, and pretended to be doing his hair.

She came in "are you going somewhere?" she said slowly. "Uhh yeah, just to a friends, do you want to come?" he said, reluctantly, thinking how stupid he was to ask her to come. "Um no, I have practice, can you drop me?" she asked, hoping he would.

"Yeah sure just be ready in 15 minutes." He said relieved!! "Okay" she said, confused by the tone of his voice. "Kripa, when do I pick you up?" he asked, looking for an answer. "7:00 [pm]" perfect he thought. "Okay!" he said, glad that everything was going alright.

Angad had only 2 days till his birthday!! That meant only 2 days till the divorce. The thought kept bringing tears in her eyes. Did angad even love her anymore? Did she love him anymore? Why was she asking herself this...of course she did! How could she even let that lousy thought in her head?

She had dance rehearsals today; she was doing 3 songs, but only needed a dance for two songs, because one song was "we belong together" which you obviously can't dance on. It was 6:30 and she had to leave in hour. She did the second song 4 times and then was standing outside waiting for Angad

She saw a familiar figure walking down the street. She ran to him and then punched him in his stomach. "ouchhhhh!!" he yelled. Then she gave him a kiss on the cheek and then hugged him. "Kripa!! What are you doing here?" "Shouldn't I be asking you that?" kripa asked him. "Haha I am visiting for a month, and I was eventually going to look for you." He said, about to burst out laughing. "Fine then go find me when ever you want to" she said pretending to be mad!

Right then the car light flashed and it was angad. "Angad...finally!!" she said. "Um kripa, aren't you going to tell me who this is?" he said, thinking, wait do I want to know? 😆 "Oh yeah..." "This is my best friend, who moved to America 2 years ago and only visited once" she said, giving him a fake evil eye! "Oh, well hi I'm angad, Kripa's husband." Angad said moving his hand forward for a handshake. "Hi I'm Sohan, Kripa's friend." He said, shaking Angads hand. "okay well sohan, come around some time...I work RIGHT THERE YOU KNOW" she said pretty loud. She gave sohan a big hug and kiss on the cheek and angad and sohan shook hands again.

Angad parked the car and told kripa "Go change, we have to go somewhere real quick, and be down in 20 minutes, okay?" "Fine" she said, tired.

She came down 10 minutes later, in a bathrobe, with hair wet asking where they were going, so that she could dress appropriately. The first thought that came to Angads head was how beautiful she looked. "I have a meeting with someone at a restaurant, and you're coming because I tend to get a bit bored." He said quickly. "Fine" she said, dashing up the stairs.

She came down 15 minutes later wearing a pretty black sari with embroidery in gold and silver sequins with a touch of stones.

Her hair was slightly wet and was hanging down her back. She had large black and silver earrings and a small necklace that was silver and black. She also had pretty silver shoes.

Angad had a black suit, with a pink dress shirt inside.

Angad put his hand around his waist and started walking outside. She sat in the car waiting for angad to come, When she found his cell phone, she opened it and found a picture they took ages ago. It was Angad kissing Kripa's cheek and she was her with a shocked expression because she didn't know that was coming. She smiled when she saw it.

Angad came in and started talking, "kripa, actually, we don't have a meeting, it was an excuse to make you come, because I new you would have said no and I really missed you and me, and our moments together" he said the first half as quickly as he could, then towards the end he started talking a lot slower. She just smiled.
