Drama at its best, but a cliffhanger, not fair
My heart seems to not have the ability to wait, but Sooks, will be waiting eagerly;)

Oh! I can't believe you let them smack Emily like that...<shaking my head in disappointment>

Deshmukh is the most interesting character, and the most mysterious. I wonder what skeletons he's hiding in his closet!

The story is starting to unfold, and I suggest 'everyone' hold on to their seats cause some serious action is about to go down. And knowing Sooks, I know I am going to feel some bumps on my butt! 😆

Its curious actually, even when so entirely obvious, how time and experiences merely teach people to morph/suppress/reveal, in essence, train their intrinsic nature rather than change their entire personality..

Change is such a misnomer in what expectations the word evokes in people .. Dileep Khurana- the classic example of ambition being the ruling factor in his make-up.. so after all this knowing and learning, he realized he needed to know his children as much as his business... It would be hard for him to let go of the one thing which is truly his blood and sweat, his closest child hes dealt with justly.

And now, minding his children to steer them towards .. towards somewhere so he can .. well a hundred justifications and explanations right there, but seriously.. an interesting sketch into how a man will always be true to his most basic make-up.. Still ambitious enough to expect change and manipulate accordingly.. and still the control freak.. I am so curious to know how this character will end up with the ending of the story.

WHat these confessions and realizations and all will end him up with.. really really curious.

Can people truly change, and should we expect them to change?

Thats exactly what.. an apple cannot turn into an orange over time.. lousy example i know , :)).. but that's how I can explain.. might just be me but I feel people can only evolve and the extent of that depends on their own understanding of things and circumstances ..

So true, and yet we expect people to change cause change is inevitable! :)

hey...just read ur entire FF. its outstanding!! (indep bowing down to u). one of the 3 best FFs on MG...stayed up all night to read it-just cudnt put it off for next morning...

loved ur characterisation of maan ...how he goes from a crazy in pain, confused, rebellious child ( even at 28) to becoming somewhat of the man that his godfather thought he could be! loved the fact this FF is written from Maan's perspective rather than Geets. I always wanted to read one like that...and uve surpassed all my expectations!

i loved Emily and Satya. Hi time someone moved away from the typical stereotypical superficial characters to real thick and blood ones. Can I also say i loved Mitalee and Vikram too...everyone has their vulnerable side. Even Dileep although he is the meglomaniac controlling everyone and everything.

Last but not the least, LOVED ur songs selection!! so all night long, had them playing whilst reading ur FF. loved MatchBox, Black Coffee by All Saints and of course, CArmina Burana!

you go, girl!
