so u came back after ages like... loved the update... looking forward to start the real story of maaneet...

Hey friends...

Before I start with the update, I have thought of it that I would prefer giving u short updates frequently as in daily or at alternate days if I am busy with some work... This way both I and u will njoy the story and not forget about it... Let me know if this sounds better... But then I wont be able to pm u daily... You all will have to keep a track of the updates... Please let me know if all of u will be fine with it... Now moving ahead with the update of today...

Part 17

Post the result days, both Maan and Geet got busy in surfing about the best undergraduate course offered by SPA and the things required for it... Geet had also started with her class XI and studies but she would make sure to be involved in every development Maan would have in surveying about his college and course...

One day while they were sitting and looking through the details...

Geet: Maan yahan dekho... I think this is the best course u have at SPA and with ur rank u'll be able to make it...

Maan: Yeah Geet... I think I'll be able to make it... Lets look at the other requirements for the course...

Geet: Maine dekha... But they say u will have to stay in the hostel... Its kind of mandatory...

Maan: Whattt??? Let me see... (looks through the details) Haan yaar... But how is it possible... I mean when I have my home here in Delhi itself... I can commute to the college daily... Lets leave this course then... I am in no way living in the hostel leaving my family right here... We'll look through the other courses...

Geet: But Maan this is the best and the only undergraduate course SPA offers... May be we can talk to the college authorities and ask them if anything can work out...

Maan: Alright... I'll go to the college tomorrow and see if anything works out...

Geet (smiles): I am sure something will work out... Lets go to sleep now... Its already late and I do have to go to school tomorrow... Goodnight Maan...

Maan: Goodnight...

Geet goes to her room whereas Maan wonders if actually things can work out... He was hopeful that on explaining his situation to the college authorities things might work out... Even after trying to sleep, he wasn't feeling sleepy and there was something which was worrying him... He tried to brush away the thoughts and decided to do a bit more of a survey about the course... On further looking into the details, he found out that not only hostel was a mandatory requirement for the course, but even the fees for the course were too high... He wasn't if it was feasible for Daadi to pay for the course... He knew Khurana construction was surviving but then the fees was too much too be taken care of considering that Geet was still in school and there were expenses involved for her higher studies as well...

Maan (to himself): How will Daadi and Raano ma manage with the college fees...? Even if I talk to the college authorities about exemption from the hostel accommodation, I will not be able to convince them for the fees and for the first semester, they don't even provide with the scholarship... With Geet also in XIth standard, we have to take care of her coaching classes and all... Pata nahi kaise manage hoga... What should I convince them for??? What if they don't agree???

Maan falls asleep on the table thinking of the problem he was stuck in...

In the morning Geet comes to his room to wake him up before getting ready for school when she finds him sleeping with his head on the table and his laptop open... She sees some tension lines on his forehead...

Geet (to herself): Ab kyun tension mein hai ye??? What was he reading??? Only for the hostel??? Anyways... I'll wake him up...

Geet: Maan... Maan utho... Don't u have to go to the college today??? Wake up... U slept here itself... Atleast bed par to chale jaate...

Maan wakes up and goes to get ready without even giving a look to Geet... He knew she would get worried seeing him like this... But he had to sort it out on his own... He was all lost during the breakfast... Geet notices his nervousness and thinks its regarding the meeting today... She decides to accompany him to the college rather than going to school today...
