Part 16
It's the day for Maan's main entrance exam for architecture... Rano and Daadi visited temple praying for Maan's success... The family was supported by Daadima for long now and she needed her grandson to support her... But above all she wanted that her son's last wish and grandson's dream to be fulfilled... She wanted happiness for her entire family which now included Geet and Rano too... Rano too prayed for her son's success...
As always Geet was there with Maan on his important day... She woke up early in the morning to visit the temple with her mom and Daadi and later came back home early to accompany Maan to the examination centre... She just prayed for Maan's success because for her it was much more important than anything else in the world right now...
Just outside the examination centre,
Geet: Maan please don't be nervous... I will be waiting for u right here... Do well and I am sure u will get into ur dream college... Fill in the formalities correctly... HB pencil rakhi hai na??? Admit card dhyaan se rakha hai??? U need anything else???
Maan: Geet, I am fine... Its okay yaar... I will be fine... Itna nervous kyun ho rahi ho tum??? I have everything that I need... Tum please itna tension mat lo...
Geet: Main tension mein nahi hoon... Tum please nervous mat hona... Evrything will be fine...
Maan: Main theek hoon... Tum ghar chali jaana and send the car back... I will come back home... Tumko aane ki zaroorat nahi hai...
Geet: Shut up and go... It's not important for u... Bbyyee and all the best...
Both of them were equally nervous and wanted to make each other comfortable... This was probably the very special part of their friendship... The entire time Geet waited outside the exam centre for Maan... She just could go back home...
Just when Maan came out, she pounced on him with loads of question on how the exam was... Was he nervous... How did he perform... etc. etc.
Maan: Yaar ruk jaao... Tum ek baar seriously baat karna shuru karti ho to rukti hi nahi ho... Exam was good and for rest of the answers lets wait for the result...
Geet: Yup... So now Maan Singh Khurana will take Princess Geet for shopping today followed by the movie tonight...
Maan: Yes ma'am... Maan Singh Khurana is always at ur service...
They both go out for shopping followed by a movie in the evening... It was after a long time that the two friends actually got to spend time with each other... They had their favourite lunch and dinner and finally returned home late... Rano and Daadi were so happy to see them enjoying themselves after such a long time...
Rano: Maa, kitne dino baad dono itne khush dikh rahe hain... Do u think its time to talk to atleast Maan about the problem...
Savitri Devi: Nahi Rano... Abhi nahi... Aaj itne dino baad inn dono bachchon ko khush dekha hai... Let them njoy... Waise bhi I have tried everything and nothing seems to work... I guess decision humko le lena chahiye...
Rano: Jaisa aap theek samjhe maa...
The days flew fast with Maan and Geet enjoying with each other... Maan was back to learn business whereas Geet was in a dilemma what to take as future subjects...
Geet: Maan... Maan... What should I take as my subjects in 11th... Its time to give our choices...
Maan: Geet decide on your own... The subjects which u find interesting...
Geet: Maan please help karo na... Chalo rehne do I'll take the subjects u took and in the optional I'll take a designing course...
Maan: Geet decide according to your interest... Ye kya logic hai ki jo maine liye wo logi tum...
Geet: Ehhh... I have decided...
Finally it was Maan's result day...
Geet was nervous whereas Maan was quite relaxed... He knew that once he had given the exam, he could actually nothing but wait for the result...
Maan: Kya yaar Geet, aren't u tired of refreshing the webpage??? Chalo breakfast kar lo subha se kuch bhi nahi khaya hai...
Geet: Nahi Maan please... Result dekh lete hain... Phir khana peena chalta rahega din bhar... Y isn't the result out yet??? Wasn't it supposed to come at 10 am... And its...
Maan: Still 9.45 ma'am... U can relax for next 15 minutes... Chalo bahar chalte hain maa and daadi k saath baithte hain 10 minutes k liye...
Geet: Nahi tum jaao... Please main yahin hoon... Tum jaao yahan se if u don't want to be here...
Geet (to babaji): Please babaji... Aapko pata hai na ye papa aur Rajveer uncle ka dream tha... Please Maan ka result achcha aa jaaye... Uske baad... Uske baad... Uske baad I'll... Uske baad main... Main... Khair kuch achcha karenge... Jo aap bologe wo karenge... But please Maan ka result dekh lena... Daadi ka bhi to dream hai ye... Please babaji kuch aisa karo ki Maan gets into SPA...
With her prayers to babaji, geet pressed the refresh once again when the website loaded and it asked for Maan's roll number...
Maan was relaxed but there was some fear within him... He was nervous if he couldn't fulfil his dad's dream... He didn't want to fail this time... But he had to wait for the result before decising the future course of action...
Geet started jumping and shouted on top of her voice...
Geet: Maa... Daadi... Maan has got AIR 49 in architecture... He has done it... He will make it to SPA now...
She goes to Maan and hugs him...
Geet: Congratulations and celebrations... Its party time... U have done it... Tumne dad ka and uncle ka dream poora kara hai... (She and Maan had tears in their eyes... Even Rano and daadi had tears...) Maan u have done it...
Maan: Yes Geet I have done it... I have done it...
He takes blessings of the elders...
Geet: Chalo mandir chalte hain... Lets thank God for this...
They all go to the temple and seek for God's blessings everyone asking for the happiness of Maan and Geet...

There I come again... Again disappearing and coming back... I have been completely out of touch with writing and needed time to write this... I am sure this wasn't a nice one but I need to come back with the story nw... One-two updates and the story will be back to full flow... Without giving much excuses because I know its not worth it... The extreme long break... Ahhh... Have to read the entire thing once again both me and you...
Still leave me with comments and likes and slight encouragement to get me back please... Need that now...
Anyways, m off to read the entire thing at one go...
