A humane decision
'Mr. Khurana, there is a complication..'
'Kya hua doctor?' asked Maan.
'Sar pe gehri chot lagne ke wajah se we think she has lost her memory. She has no recall of the incident naahi unhe kisi pichli baat ki yaad hai. She only vaguely remembers something that too only her name I guess. Neend mein bol rahi thi...college admissions karna hai uske liye pura naam dena padega na aur something...'
'What??? aise kaise hosakta hai doctor?'
'Hosakta hai, Mr. Khurana. It happens. Aur jis halat unki hui thi usse hi pata chalta hai ki unhe kitni zor se chot lagi thi aur ladki hone ki naate sometimes yeh complication badh sakti hai. You never know what happens...'
'Par ab kya hoga doctor? Naahi mujhe pata hai ki woh kaun hai aur kaha se aayi hai, uski family, nothing I know!.Toh ab iska kya hoga. Uski family ko shayad pata bhi nahi hai..'
'I dont know what to do, Mr. Khurana. I have no idea.'
'Okay doctor, par kya naam bataya uska?'
'We dont know her name. Bas itna lagta hai ki unhe unka naam yaad hai.'
'Okay doctor. Thank you, main kuch sochta hoon.'
'Okay Mr. Khurana' said the doctor and cut the call.
'Kya baat hai beta? Aap tensed kyun hai?'
'Daadi..doctor keh rahe ki us ladki ki yaaddash chali gayi hai. She doesnt remember anything at all. Ab kya hoga uska daadi? Uski family ka? Bohot bura lag raha hai mujhe.'
'Its okay beta. We will think of something. Kya woh ladki theek hai?'
'I think so Daadi.'
'Theek hai, toh phir hum ek kaam karte hai. Hum unhe hamare ghar lekar aate hai. Jab tak unki yaaddash wapas nahi aati tab tak she can stay with us.'
'Par daadi...'
'Arre bete, yaha unka khayal rakhne ke liye hum hai na. Aur waise bhi kaha jayenge woh agar unhe kuch yaad nahi hai toh?'
'Baat to sahi hai Daadi. I think its best if we bring her here.'
'Okay bete, we will do that work once she is ready to be discharged.'
'All right Daadi. Toh phir main chalta hoon. Show ki tayyari karni hai mujhe. I have to go to London tomorrow. Wapas aane mein ek hafta lag sakta hai. Agar koi problem ho to phone kar lejiye mujhe.'
'Okay bete. Hum sab dekh lenge, You dont worry aur Annie bhi aarahi hai na aapke saat?'
'Haan Daadi. Uske bina to yeh show karne ki soch bhi nahi sakta main' said Maan with a smile.
'Woh to hai beta' replied Daadi with a small chuckle.
Maan kissed his Daadi's cheek and went to pack his clothes for his London trip, on the way calling Adi and asking him to inform John about the preparations.

'Kaha gayi woh? Kaha gayi?' Naina screamed!
'I dont know!' replied Rose.
'Dammit! Aap logon ne uska jeena haram kar diya and now you have even killed her!' Naina shouted.
'Dekho, we dont know anything about her. We dont know. Shayad tumhari best buddy kisi ke saat bhag gayi!'
WHAM! and Rose squealed. Naina had mustered all her strength and slapped Rose hard across her face. 'Khabardar! agar meri dost ke baare mein kuch bhi galat kaha! I will get you for this Rose! Mark my words! Aap dono ko chodungi nahi!' said Naina and stormed out of the house while Rose and her mother glanced at each other, lost for words.
