This is the last part of this season 'Pre- Marriage'. This woudnt have been impossible without your unconditional support people. Thankyou.🤗
I wasnt going to post this one today, but since I thought this was the last part and I wanted to end it on a good note, that is what could be a better day than Christmas?
So, Merry Chirstmas to you all!🥳🤗
Writing this part woudnt have been possible without shalu's (shalein92) support. I love you for this shalu.❤️🤗
Now, have a good read, and dont forget to leave back your comments.😃
Warning: This is SUPER long, minimum 20 minutes needed to read it at full length.

The Raizada's with great grandeur walked out of their house into the parking lot, where two handsomly dressed horses stood. Everybody smiled wide at the sight of the horses except for one obvious fellow of the family.

Anj: Aakash, Chottey, this is your medium of transport.

Aakash and Arnav both gave Anjali a highly flabbergasted look, unable to comprehend what she meant by it. If she ACTUALLY meant that they were to ride these horses all the way to that hall, then that was NOT happening.

Anj: (giggling) Arey baba you have to ride these horses all the way to the hall.

S**T as expected. What the heck is this? Ride these danmed horses to the hall? Was Di so desperate to tag them as 'FOOLS'?

Ar: (jaw dead open) Di! What the..we are to ride these horses? Horses? Seriously Di, have you..erm..are you serious?

Anj: Chottey, it's a ritual ohk, they all do it.*pause* Like what do you think Mamiji meant when she kept saying she wants Aakash on the horse?

Like who cares for what Mamiji says, Arnav thought to himself. As if I have ever cared, to give a second thought to all the nonsense she keeps saying, and besides who would know she practically was referring to a LIVE horse, I thought it was figurative.

Ar: Di, whatever it is, let Aakash ride this thing if he wants too, I am not.

Anj: Chottey, are you in a habit of arguing on every single thing? Why can't you just say yes?

Nani: Absolutely Chootey. Anjali betya is right, why don't you just say yes?

Before anybody else would object on his habit of never saying yes to practically anything, Arnav voiced out his own thoughts.

Ar: Fine. See I said yes. *pause* (worried) But Di your, your leg?

Anj: Don't you worry about that. I'll manage that.

Arnav nodded, still grumbling and mounted the first horse, followed by Aakash on the next one, while everybody cheered happily at the two now mounted, handsome grooms.

Mami: Finally. Finally. Hamrein Aakash betwa horswaa par charrhein gayeein.

Everybody laughed at the comment, and soon to Arnav's distress a huge lot of people headed towards Shantivan, and after congratulating Nani and Anjali urged the two grooms to let the horses walk. Who the hell are they? Arnav thought to himself busily. None of his buisness associates if he could remember, and none of the people he'd seen in and out of the house, then who were they?

Ar: Di who are they?

Anj: Some of Nani's friends and a few of mine too. We needed Barati's didn't we? So we offered them to accompany us to the main hall.

Some? If this was some, then what in the world was 'many'?

Kh: Buaji! It's just fifteen minutes away, we'll be there in time.

Buaji: (looking at her wrist watch) But it's already 4:45..The baarat's is going to be there at 5:00.

Kh: (mumbling to herself) Not if Arnav can help it with the horse.

Pa: Huh what Khushi?

Kh: Erm..erm..nothing Jiji, I was just thinking where might they be?

Pa: They must be on there way'

Kh: (completing her sentence) on their horses.

*^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^*

The Gupta's stepped out of the car, the driver unloading all the necessary accessories. The brightly decorated hall was a visual treat to see. All decorated with different coloured lights, which were perfectly arranged according to the need to give an absolutely glamorous look to the artistically designed wedding hall.

Khushi looked at it with a general amusement and a slight smile spread on her face, it was the same, exactly how she had first seen Shantivan like, how the breathe within her had been oozed out, when she had first seen that building, the significance that place held in her life, as her future room, and now this wedding hall, which not if a twin, was certainly a really good replica of Shantivan. Same as she wanted it, like she had always dreamt in her dreams, of the ultimate destination where she would tie that most sacred of knots, with the prince of her dreams.

With much care and assitance by Buaji, she walked to the back of the hall, followed by Payal who assisted by Garima, and Shashi who was constantly supervising the servants as to where the things were to be kept.

Khushi and Payal both went into a room that was poorly furnished however good enough for a temporary stay. Thankfully, it had enough furniture to equip for the last minute touches a bride just might want to make before finally going to the mandap.

The two grooms mounted on the horses, followed by a large procession of people that were busy dancing, happily roaring with laughter and joy, landed at the gates of the beautifully dressed building. It looked nothing less then a royal palace, fit for royalty.

As the jovial crowd took its time out from their enjoyment to look at the dcor of the building, their eyes almost popped out in surprise, at the resemblance the building held with the motherly home of the Raizada's. Many of them between fits of surprise and laughter could be heard, commenting on the alikeness of the two fine pieces of architecture. Even the grooms themselves gasped at the play of destiny, and the absolute honour they would get of marrying in a place same as that of their home. It had been a moment of utter dissapointment when Naniji had said that Shantivan was not sufficent enough to cater to the needs of about a thousand invitees, and so some other suitable place large enough to occupy such a mass number of people had to be looked upon.

Anjali's eyes glistened with joy, as her choosen place was given so much appreciation. She knew it would be the bestest surprise and gift she could eventually give to Arnav and Aakash, and the praises from the people around made her even more confident on the decision that she had taken, for the first time ever without any consultation. Behind the glisten in those eyes hid, sorrow, a longing to look at that familiar face and get a gesture of approval from him. The one face she totally depended on after her own blood, the one person she loved more than her own desires and wishes- her husband, the sacred bond of love she had tied with the person, who she considered as her ultimate saviour, where was he? In all the happiness, he wasn't there to be by her side, and hug her to happiness, for achieiving what her parents had given her a resposiiblity of, of, of, getting her Chottey married.

She looked around with a hope in her heart that he might be there, but even after scrutinzing every inch of the crowd, she coudnt see the familiar, tanned face of her husband. She wanted to know where he was, why he wasn't here. What had come to be more important than her two brother's marriage? When he very well knew this coudnt happen again why did he have to do this? It was a happy moment for all, and she didn't want to voice out the worry. She stared into her Chootey's eyes for sometime and looked away as quickly as she could. What she saw in them she didn't want to be remembered of. His eyes were mirrors to her that showed what he coudnt really say. She could see the pain he was trying to hide, behing his strong, in control face. The pain of not having their parents around.

In the crowd, for an instance she coudnt see anyone but her mother, smiling at her, giving her that thunbs up sign she had longed to be given, pointing towards Arnav, and gesturing a curve on her face. The celestial angelic soul of her mother took steps towards Anjali making her quiver with fright, of having encountered the supernatural, how ever she stood their steadfast, not moving, until her mother was barely inches away from her. Her mother drew her hands towards her daughter, cupping her face in her hands, letting the tears from Anjali's eyes fall on her palms. Midst of that, she whispered something that only Anjali could decipher, something that made her smile, and embrace her mother in a hug.

Arnav looked at the strange way his sister was behaving with much worry. It wasn't very hard to see through Anjali, but he could see within her what nobody saw. The isolation, that space, that he never could fill up, that of losing their parents, that longing to have them share this moment of happiness. He kept staring at his sister, who initially was searching for someone in the crowd, and without doubt he knew who it was-Jeeja ji. However hard, Anjali might sound that she didn't care if he was around or not, Arnav knew that she was busy yearning for him, to come somehow, and stand by her side. When for a merry second she had looked into his eyes for encouragment, he had blinked them twice to let her know that he would be there, but he feared that she was not assured, instead she had seen what he was trying to hide from her. The absence of his parents. The absence of their mother. He still remembered how she use to tell Anjali of when he would get married; she'd bring his bride, to their house, and keep her on her eyelids. Would never let even a gust of wind trouble her. It would all have been true, if if it woudnt have been for that unfortunate night.

Arnav shut his eyes, to erradicate the memory of that horrifying night, gaining neglible success. Everthing was still fresh in his mind, as if it had just happened tomorrow. He hated all of it, the shehnai, the laughter, the lightening; it had taken away from him everything. Made him incomplete. It was hard to belive that today he was to get his most valued pocession; he didn't want to marry her, because he feared he would lose her. But she was stubborn, she wanted to marry, he didn't have a option, he'd have to agree, he had to give in to her desire, and here he was mounted on their horse standing outside the very place the mandap was set in, the place where that fire would be lit, that had once burned his happiness alive forever.

Shehnaaiyon Ki Sada Keh Rahi Hai

Khushi Ki Mubaarak Ghadi Aa Gayi Ha

The music got louder, and the drumming more intense, as Nani brought back Anjali to the real world, and reminded that her responsibilty was yet not off her shoulder. She had to do, what her mother wanted to do, more than his sister, she was his second mother, and they had to proceed. Her mother, her soul, would be there, watching over everything, supervising everything that was happening in her own spiritual manner. Anjali pulled back a smile on her face, and gestured Arnav and Aakash to demount the horses. The came down their ears almost ringing with the high pitch of sound, which was going beyond the range of bearable sound.

___________________________________________

Inside the Gupta's heard the sound of loud music, and knew that the Baarat had arrived. Garima along with Buaji and Shashi with the pooja thali and a basket of garlands went to the entrance of the hall, reaching just in time to see the two grooms demounting their horses, and along with their family approaching the main entrance on foot.

The brides inside hearing the music, and the rythum played on the Tabla, their heart beats rose, and both sat in front of dressing tables looking straight into the mirrors, as if trying to see through their own soul. They knew the moment that they had been waiting for was soon to come, the moment they had dreamt of since a very young age was finally there at the entrance on the doorstep.

Khushi looked at the mirror, a huge smiling caressing her perfectly toned faced. She could see her future in that mirror, her husband behind her who had penetrated into her soul, made her his trademark. She was the brand ambassador of his life, the queen of his heart of thrones, and no more the pawn that she had earlier been. She had been pricked if she came close, deserted if she went away, she had to maintain herself on that throne, nor too close, nor too far, just where she should be, where he'd always need her, where she felt he would come up to her seeking support in her arms.

The two bridegrooms and their kinsmen walked to the entrance and stopped short, as the bride's family stood at the entrance, ready to welcome them accompanied by the officating priest. Being the groom of the elder daughter of the Gupta's, Aakash was welcomed first. In between the mantra's that the officating priest chanted, Garima blessed Aakash with rice and trefoil, and applied tilak of vermilion and turmeric powder. This done, the same procedure was carried out with Arnav this time, and after this both of them along with their family were welcomed inside and led straight to the mandap. Arnav sat in the mandap first crossed leg, as he was the eldest of the two grooms, while Aakash stood among the crowd enjoying the pleasure of attending his brother's marriage before his own. The priest took his seat near the fire and instructed Garima and Buaji that the brides be bought to the mandap.

Shehnaaiyon Ki Sada Keh Rahi Hai

Khushi Ki Mubaarak Ghadi Aa Gayi Ha

Garima and Buaji went in the cosy room, to bring the brides out who were eagerly waiting for the call for them to come out. Payal aided by Garima took in the lead, followed by Khushi assisted by Buaji.

Saji Surkh Jodi Mein Chaand Si Dulhan

Zameen Pe Falak Se Pari Aa Gayi Hai
As the two brides completely came into view, laden with precious jewels, and an enthralling designer bridal wear, the crowd gasped in awe, at the beauty of the two brides. They both looked more captivating, than Koh-e-Noor itself, and as if being sent directly from the heavens they looked angelic and fairy like in their bridal avatar. Seeing the chao, among the crowd the two grooms and their family turned around, to see the beautiful brides. Naniji and Anjali's eyes turned watery with happiness and Mamiji was busy praising to her friends the beauty of her daughter in law. Standing next to Anjali, she could feel the presence of her mother, right beside her, looking at her daughter in law walking in red and rust green sharara. How Anjali's eyes watered due to the immense amount of happiness she felt only she knew. She stole a glance at her brother, who was smiling, for the first time in years, on this day. She hadn't seen him so happy in many years, the smile on his face that had lost its existence was back because of her, the love of his life, His Khushi. Aakash and Arnav both looked at their respective brides, with exclusive rights, to see whatever they wished too. To stare at them for however long they wanted to. Any desire within them that had turned dormant for some while had risen again, and both of them equally excited to make these two maidens lawfully theirs for eternity.
Dulhe Ka Sehra Suhaana Lagta Hai
Khushi and Payal looked up to see at the crowd who looked fascinated by their remarkable beauty. In the crowd they searched the faces, of those two people who they were here for, dressed like this, to begin a new phase of life. Finally after looking at every inch of the halls, they found them, smiling at the two of them and at their ever lasting beauty. Khushi looked at Arnav almost in a daze, and their eyes met, sharing moments of happiness together. Quickly she looked away in fear of anybody spotting her looking like that at him. Arnav smiled at her in amusement at this gesture of hers. My Silly Mrs.Raizada.
Dulhan Ka Tou Dil Deewana Lagta Hain
Aakash looked at Payal with the same intensity as Arnav only a little more delicately and an even wider smile. Payal passed him a fragile smile and hurriedly, like Khushi, looked away from him. She again rose up her eyes, this time not to look at him, but for the betrayer who she feared would destroy their wedding. For Anjali ji's husband-for Shyam. Thankfully, he wasn't there, as she noticed, and the smile on her face that had faded for some mere moments returned back. Aakash hadn't missed that change of expression on her face and his own brow creased at trying to figure out the cause of that sudden change in emotion and expression. The two brides, like fairies walked towards the mandap, several eyes scrutinizing their every movement, and while Khushi took her place at the mandap next to Arnav, Payal stood next to Aakash and the two families surrounded them. The priest continued with his chanting as the groom and his bride stole glances at eachother until finally they were given the permission to touch eachother, giving in to their hearty desires. Hands touched and they poured the lubricant of ghee, to fuel their fire of love, to wakeup the God's and ensure their constant presence in the saced bond they were to tie, while they bore witness to the event.
Palbhar Mein Kaise Badalte Hain Rishte
Ab To Har Apna Begaana Lagta Hai
The priest (pandit) then calls the father of the bride, for her Kanya Dan. Shashi comes forward his eyes watery, and one of his fists tightly shut. He sits next to the soon to be wedded couple and pats Arnav on the back while he gives a smiling look to Khushi. Khushi who wasn't able to understand his gesture, Shashi in the regard opened his enclosed fist and produced a heart shaped locket. Khushi looked at it, her own eyes going moist. She looked up towards the ceilings, meaning to look in the heavens serching for the constant presence of her biological parents. As she looked down again, Shashi opened the closed locket, and from inside side by side were pictures of two smiling figures, which by any doubt were Khushi's biological parents. With the resemblance they held with their daughter, nobody could object them to be the real parents of the bride. Khushi took the heart shaped locket in her palms and closed it putting it fairly near her heart and kissing it, before returning it back to Shashi for safe custody. Shashi gives away his daughter to Arnav amidst of chanting sacred mantras by putting Khushi's right hand into that of Arnav's left hand, which by means concludes as Arnav accepting her as his lawfully wedded wife. The pandit gestures Garima and Anjali to bring the 'Varmala's', meanwhile Khushi with Arnav's help gets up and wait for a mere fraction of a second for the garlands when Anjali and Garima simultaneously appear with the two 'varmalas'. Khushi is handed over the first varmala by Garima which she tries hard to put around Arnav's neck but without any success as Aakash kept raising shaking his brother like a rattle here and there making difficult for her to put the necklace in place. Finally after much effort, she managed to put the necklace of garlands around him to which the entire crowd cheered noisily. Like Aakash, this time Payal did her part, and kept shoving Khushi here and there, Arnav enjoying every moment of it was in no hurry to put the varmala around her and kept moving in the opposite direction as she was moving so that their hands would touch, sending shivers down Khushi's spine, and a mild blush appearing on her cheeks, adding to her beauty. Slowly, giving an easy ditch to Payal he tactically put the garland around her. All this while, the groom's sister stood there, with her constant companion, her mother, shedding happy tears for her little brother. Finally, she realized she had done the biggest duty of her life. Her brother was now almost married, and there was certainly no stopping to the other rituals that were to happen. Only if her lawfully wedded partner, would be there for her, to stand there and look at his brother in law getting married, but he wasn't there for, not in front of her eyes, but backstage, seeing everything that was happening. From a corner of the hall, which was an advantage position as everything could be seen from that side, of what was happening in the mandap, a pair of two maddened with anger eyes stood there, watching every movement of the bride and the groom with utter animosity, and and an inner desire to seek revenge from the two. After the 'varmala's' were placed in their rightful places, around the bride and grooms neck, Anjali, stood with a silver plated tray that consisted of the contents of a gold plated round small box, and a black-golden beaded chain. She moved it in front of Arnav, who took the small box and opened it smeared some of the red powder on his thumb, taking his hand all the way upto the forehead of his bride, where the jhumka now rested. Payal handling her own heavy bridal wear, removed the jhumka temporarily to allow Arnav to make his mark on Khushi's body. He most delicately filled her 'mang' with sindoor, a little of it dropping on her nose, which caused her to cutely twitch her nose. The crowd cheered as this was a signal from the Gods above that their marriage was to be a lucky one. After that he picked up the black-golden beaded necklace, and tied the manglasutra around her neck, to which she cutely smiled and caused him to have a smile of his own on his chisled face. Piya, Khushi's closest friend came close to the wedded couple, giving Arnav a cute smile and placed a pink dupaata around his neck which was linked with the corner of Khushi's duppata, tied together, to signify the marriage knot. The couple gets up together, linked with the pink duppata, with Khushi leading and Arnav behind her walking in circles around the sacred fire.
Saat Pheron Se Bandha Janmon Ka Yeh Bandhan
Pyaar Se Joda Hai Rab Ne Preet Ka Daaman
The two of them walk around the fire in circles, while the priest kept throwing fragments of puffed rice into the fire as oblation representing prosperity in their new life together. Every circle that they took around the fire symbolized as the priest chants seven blessings, seven vows, for their strong union.
Hain Nayi Rasmein, Nayi Kasmein, Nayi Uljhan
Together they take the seven oaths knows as the sacred vows of a wedding. On the first round, both of them pray to God that they always get nourishing and good food. On the second step, they pray to God that he may give them physical, mental and the spiritual strength so that they may be able to lead a life that is healthy. Taking these vows Khushi and Arnav smiled at eachother, and the always fearful of commitment Arnav, was now comfortable in making these life long promises.
Honth Hai Khaamosh, Lekin Keh Rahi Dhadkan

With the third step, they pray to the Almighty for a life full of prosperity of wealth and that they will be with each other at the time of pain and sufferings. Khushi looked into his eyes, and she could already see how she was to act on this oath. She had to unleash the suffering within him, that had been hidden all these years, in his heart from the world.

Mushkil Ashkon Ko Chhupaana Lagta Hai

On the fourth round they swear to stay together and attain harmony and happiness by sharing love and trust mutually between them. To this Arnav looked at her, his gaze penetrating into the wilderness of her eyes, seeing in through the fog in her eyes, the sorrow in her eyes, that no one could ever know about but he.

Dulhan Ka Tou Dil Deewana Lagta Hain

On the fifth step, the couple prays to have a family of their own and they also pray for the well beings of all the beings of the universe. They both smile at eachother, at the thought of family planning, which was to initiate tonight, eradicating all loneliness and feeling of abandonment from their life.

Palbhar Mein Kaise Badalte Hain Rishte

With the second last step, they pray to God that he may give them togetherness forever and help them lead a long and life full of joy. Upon hearing this they pass knowing smiles to eachother. A promise that they had been making to themselves internally all the time, they could finally openly declare it to be accepted by their heart and soul.

Ab To Har Apna Begaana Lagta Hai

With the seventh and the very last step, they pray for companionship, understanding, unity and loyalty with each other. After the Sath Phere's finish, Arnav repeats after the pandit telling Khushi that they have created a relationship of friendship with each step and that both of them will try to reach each others friendship. This done and their marriage lawfully accepted, tying them into an unbreakable bond, Arnav and Khushi walked out of the four boundaries of the mandap profusely being hugged by their happy family members and others congradulating them and wishing them a very happy married life. The couple smiled at eachother and stood side by side to eachother as Aakash and Payal took their place at the mandap, the same ritual's being repeated all over again with them. The roles were switched and Payal and Aakash's role was played by Khushi and Arnav this time, respectively. Thus the marriage was synchronized, and the two were declared a lawfully wedded couple. Like them Aakash and Payal descended the stairs of the mandap and after embracing their parents and taking their blessings went onto stand next to the first newly wedded couple.

Dulhe Ka Sehra Suhana Lagta Hain

Dulhan Ka Tou Dil Deewana Lagta Hain

Amidst of all of this the pair of eyes that had been since then burning in agony, and rage, vowed to themselves to make the life of the first couple worst then hell. Shyam stood their watching them in envy, and at their happy smiles that he was soon to destroy. He would destroy it for them, for everyone, if she could not be his, she could be no ones. Sale Sahab you have made my Khushi ji, Yes, My Khushi ji your wife, and you shall pay for it bad, through your loved sister. I shall destroy her and you, the two of you will burn away from each other, breeding misunderstandings between the two of you. You have lawfully made her yours, but rightfully she is mine. You can never gain the right over her, because I shall never let you do that, never. I will spoil it for you, for the two of you, until she is mine, as she belongs to me, and that is a promise to myself, promise to you Arnav Singh Raizada.

The two newly wedded couples accompanied by their families walked towards the exit of the hall. It was the time, the time had come for them to go, for the brides to leave their parents, and enter into a new house, with their husbands. Today they woudnt return back to the house they had seen since the time they had first opened their eyes, today was a new night and today it was no more like yesterday. Today everything would change. It had changed.

Payal took the lead and went towards the line where her entire family stood in a queue, with her husband Aakash. First in line was Garima, who was already crying. The couple bowed down to take her blessings and Garima after giving her blessings, the couple stood up.Payal hugged her mother, and the mother-daughter shared few moments of utter sympathizing, and sharing their sorrow, of getting apart from eachother.

Main Teri Baahon Ke Jhule Mein Pali Babul

Jaa Rahi Hoon Chhodke Teri Gali Babul

Ga: (placing Payal's hand in that of Aakash) Take care of my Payal.

Aakash smiled at her and nodded as the two of them moved forward towards Shashi. Behind them Khushi and Arnav followed. They too bowed down and took her blessings, after which Khushi teary eyed, pulled her foster mother into a loving, parting hug. The mother daughter shared moments of being driven away from eachother, while Arnav stood their rock solid, a slight frown on his face. He didn't want to see her crying like this, and didn't he minutes earlier made a promise to her that he would never let her cry. Then what now? Coudnt he stop her from crying somehow? In his mind he knew he coudnt, he felt all weird about this crying stuff, but he knew it happened. It happened in Di's wedding although he coudnt make sense of why she was crying. Fine, Khushi was crying because she had to leave her parents behind, but Di, she was to live with us even after getting married, why did she cry then? Funny formality this is.

Khushi pulled away from Garima, after which Garima took Arnav's hand and placed into that of Khushi's.

Ga: Promise me, to never hurt her, or let a single tear escape her eyes. She has been the lightening in our life, I want her to sparkle forever.

Mamta Ke Aanchal Mein Jo Geet Gaye Hain

Arnav placed his free hand, in that of which was enclosed by Garima, and promised her of letting the sparkle of their life, always let her light shine bright. Still crying Khushi along with Arnav moved forward, behind Payal and Aakash.

Payal went towards her father, and the couple bowed down to take his blessings. They were stopped midway, and Payal hugged him tight, for all the life she had. More than anybody else, she was attached to him, who was her ultimate saviour, her saviour today and always. Shashi hugged his daughter effectionately; who he knew would no more be there to be his shoulder, and to share her sorrows. She now had a new man in her life, who could fill in his place and give her the manly support every women needs. Payal pulled away from her father, after which Shashi hugged Aakash lightly and patted him on the back.

Main Teri Baahon Ke Jhule Mein Pali Babul

Jaa Rahi Hoon Chhodke Teri Gali Babul

As Payal moved forward along with her husband, Khushi and Arnav followed in their steps. They too bowed down to take Shashi's blessings but like Payal and Aakash were stopped midway, in which Khushi pulled her father into a hug she longed for. She was closer to him, than she had been to any of the other family members, and she loved him truly, with all her heart, considering him as her biological father. He had brought her up, given her more love then his biological daughter. To Shashi, Khushi had been the more preffered, and favorite one amongst the two daughters, and they shared a healthy father daughter relationship together.

Babul Ne Chutphutt Jo Sapne Sanjayein Hain

Shashi pulled Khushi away from himself, and hugged Arnav after which he took out something from the pocket of his kurta. He picked up Khushi's hand and softly placed the heart shaped locket of her parents in her fist.

Sh: I cannot give you much, but this is something, that is rightfully yours. You ought to have it with you. If your parents would have been here they would have done the same thing, and given you the same blessings. Never think they are gone, they are here watching over you, that star above that I showed that is them, looking at you, at what ever you do, and now that you have entered this new phase of life, they are congradulating you for your life ahead, and giving their blessings to you through me. They have always been there, are there will be there. I cannot make up for their absense, but betya, I tired my best to do so.

Kh: (between sorrowful sobs) Bauji, you are my father, you have made up for their absence, you have never let me remember them, or think that I am an orphan. You have been there when I need you..you are my father..(Pointing towards Garima) and Amma is my mother.

She hugged him once again and then proceeded forward towards Buaji. Payal was already there hugging Buaji who she was very fond off, while Aakash stood their patiently allowing his wife, to part from her family.

Khoobsurat Yeah Zamane Yaad Ayein Gey

Chahke Bhi Hum Tumhe Na Bhool Payengey

Bua: (to Aakash) Hamri Payalia ka khayal rakhyun, warna tum humein jantein nahin, (smiling) belan sein marein gey tumhein.

This brought a smile to everybodies face, and lightened the sorrowful atmosphere. Payal hugged Buaji once again, who cried together, seeking comfort in each other's arm. She inched away from Buaji and led by Aakash stood at the exit door of the gate, to perform the last of rituals.

From behind, Khushi, came behind and looked at Buaji with hurt eyes, she hadn't been a very pleasant affair to Buaji, not if she could remember, and never was she fond of her weird ways, but without her, her days seemed incomplete. Without her taunts, and sly comments she couldn't pass her days. It was a part of her life now, and she coudnt now imagine a life without it.

Bua: (smiling, with tears in her eyes) Ab tum chalein jao gey, tou hum kis par chelayein gey? Kis ko dantein gey? Kis ko 'Sanka Devi' 'Sanka Devi' keh kar bulayein gey? Kis ko kahein gey key 'Parmeshwari' yeh mat karun who mat karun?

Who Yaad Ayein Gey Gup-Shup Rulayein Gey

Upon listening to this Khushi melted with effection and tightly hugged her Buaji. Buaji hugged her too with as much effection as her niece had shown. How much they fight, how much they never could tolerate eachother but at the end of the day they loved eachother. Arnav looked at this hug in surprise, he hadn't expected this kind of effection between her and Buaji atleast. To think that she was an orphan was becoming difficult now. With such a loving family, who would even give a second thought to considering her as an orphan?

Khushi with Arnav moved away from Buaji and standing next to Payal who with moist eyes kept looking at her family yet again all together, with the two of them missing.

Mushkil, Mushkil Daaman Ko Churaana Lagta Hai
Dulhan Ka To Dil Deewana Lagta Hai
Khushi looked at her family for the last time together, with which she would no more be able to gossip with, share her sleepless nights with, pour her heart out too. She had entered into a new family, into somebody else's household and now had to be a part of it.
Doli Key Sang Mere Jab Saath Jaye Gey
They both stood at the exit gate when Piya brought the thali of rice and the two brides simultaneously walked in between with their grooms, their in laws on their two sides, and their own family behind them, followed by the mass procession of other people. First Payal then Khushi picked up a fistful of Rice and threw them back at their family members, who were all open with their jholis spread open to catch the grains of rice, all this while the two brides crying.

Baaba ki raani huun aankhon ka paani huun

Bah jaana hai jise do pal kahaani huun
They took steady steps accompanied by their grooms to the two lavishly decorated Liana's that stood there waiting to take them home.

Amma ki bitiya huun aangan ki mitiya huun

Tuk-tuk nihaare jo pardesi chitthiya huun

The procession followed the two brides outside as they sat inside the cars all that time bidding goodbye to their family, and as the car began to move away from the main hall and the family, who with watery eyes was waving at them, the brides kept looking back waving them back, until they were no more insight. Inside the car, Arnav looked at Khushi crying endlessly, although they were now quite far away from the main hall. Ar: (unable to bear her tears any more kept a hand on her shoulder) Khushi, stop crying. Khushi not being able to control the gush of emotions inside her lept on to his shoulder for support, and continously weeping kept her head on his shoulder, with his trying hard to wipe away her tears. She had entered a new world, a new life. It was like starting a second life all over again, and she, she was prepared for it, to face it, with the love of her life, her husband, Her Arnav. ____________________________________________________
