@Artemis: Would have loved to know what she 'herself' thought of 'God'.. and yes, that' s fascinating :) ..
Also strange is the expectation that somehow God's answers will be elemental, unknown and not thought of before..There is no divine truth that is unknown to man, .. its making it personal and relevant to our one miniscule life span that gives it all the hype.I imagine I ask HIM a question and he just indulgently raises an eyebrow amused .. I look at the rest of the class and am hit with knowing smiles mocking 'really ! thats what you asked HIM ! ', and HE'll say smiling ' let this silly child be.'(of course for the theory that theres a 'God' God) ;)

[Assuming that such a thing as a 'divine truth' exists]The universe seems to work in mysterious ways, we are all but a infinitely small part of that whole. Are we not?

So is the author a character in the story or the character the author of this story?
A bit of both (the role reversal) is necessary for the story...else there is no story.Do you hear a voice when you close your eyes?
Yes and No because I only chose to hear what I want to hear. It's said, change is the only constant. So how can that be?
There are no constants, unless we are talking about absolutes. Ergo, change cannot exist(be defined) within the realm of absolutes. Perhaps, change itself will come to cease...There is no way to tell, unless you can prove you possess absolute knowledge.
Hey ArtemisI know this was not directed at me but I could not resist, so apologies for butting in.Assuming that truth can be called as "divine", it exists deep inside the conscious. You asked the author if she hears a voice when she closes her eyes. That voice guides us to the core, from which we are to extract the "truth". It knows the past and the future at all times. It asks us all the time if we want to know. We respond with doubt and fear and it retreats, leaving us in darkness all over again. The universe works in mysterious ways. It also works on amazingly simple principles which are uniform from the the smallest element to the largest of miracles. This is what I believe simply because it is comforting to trust that the truth we try to pursue exists. Simply because it seems right and balanced
Is this conscious a big ocean or a river that merges in that ocean?
