Wow, everyone here is blaming Maan for uttering those harsh words to Geet; yes he is wrong and is behaving like a typical man. Idiot'all men who are like that are dogs.

But it was Geet who made him say all those harsh words to her by portraying herself like characterless woman.

I am angry with Maan for behaving like an idiot, typical man, a dog but more angry with Geet for behaving like a characterless woman. Geet accepted in front of Maan that she is like that. After this acceptation what would Geet expect from a man like Maan? Does Geet still expect him to treat her like 'sati savitri' types, no he won't. If Geet does not give a respect to herself than other people won't respect her too.

I agree that even if men behaving like Geet than we would have accepted and wouldn't have created much fuss. This because we accept that those men are dogs. We will never accept the fact that a woman is like that because our culture respects woman for her dignity, grace, pride, purity. Also if men are like this that does not mean that in the name of equality, modernism women can be like that. There is a famous saying that if a dog bites human, human does not bite the dog because if you do so than there is no difference between a dog and human. Same goes for man and a woman. There is a difference between men and women and let it be.

I wanted Geet to be modern, woman of dignity and grace, woman of substance, woman of pride but not like this. Drinking is acceptable; partying is acceptable but not sleeping around with random men. If she had a boyfriend and she is sleeping with him I would have accepted that fact but not this way. I find her character less woman here. There is no dignity, no pride, no grace, and no substance in her character.

I have one question to all the readers who are saying that Maan should have seen her inner self and not outer self. If Maan would be like her i.e. drinker, sleeping around with any random woman would Geet have accepted him? Wouldn't she be looking for the man who she can trust, rely and feel safe? She would also have said same words to him (In 'Purple Haze' Geet did say similar kind of words to him as he was like this FF's Geet in 'Purple Haze'. See part 9/10 of 'Purple Haze').

If she had a past which made her like that than I would like to know that what is there in her past which made her behave like characterless woman. I am sure no matter how harsh things have been your past but given a choice you would not be sleeping around with random man like she does with her own choice. I am ready to accept Geet with her bad past, and so would Maan. Whatever happen in past is past, I will not accept her like this if she still carries on like this just because of her past. Bad experiences make you stronger not weaker. Whatever Geet is doing is the sign of weakness for me and nothing else. Please do not give me an example of a film called 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag' here. Because in that film the lead character did sleep with random man, but given a choice the lead character would not have done that. Here it looks like Geet is doing purposely. Because if you have a slightest feeling for someone you would want to change yourself a little bit. Everyone does that. In this FF you want Maan to change his way of thinking to accept Geet as she is (Unconditional Love!). So if you want Maan to change his way of thinking (as he is going for outer look than inner beauty) and accept Geet as she is than why not Geet. Why cannot she change her way (even in 'Purple Haze' once Maan realised his feelings for Geet he changed himself, we never seen him sleeping around with any other woman than Geet or behaving like this FF's Geet after he realised his love for Geet) and let Maan see real Geet. I am sure that your couple friends, who are your inspirations for this FF, have changed themselves little bit for the sake of their relationship, their love for each other. Evryone does that in love.

Well, this is my POV. I do not want to offend any one including writer here. I do like this FF and have also read your other FFs. I just did not like the character of Geet the way it has been portrayed. As I can accept men to be like that as they are dogs and 'kutte dum kabhi sidhi nahi ho sakti' but not women. Being a woman I cannot accept a woman who behaves like this.

Please don't be angry with me as I am not angry with anyone but Geet and Maan of this FF.
