This is kinza, finally mehaku has written the next part, and without doubt, it's BEAUTIFUL!! .
Hope u all will enjoy it as the u've been doing for the rest of the story and mehak is thankful to all of you for your generous comments and wishes.

Nupur could hear her own heartbeat in the pin drop silence in the car. Mayank had not said a word after that and inspite of all the instructions form Mrs Vasti she had no idea what to talk about.

Sighing she switched on the radio and started surfing through frequencies until she finally found a channel and a topic to talk on simultaneously.

Nupur: (turning towards Mayank) isn't this a beautiful song?"

Mayank: " I haven't heard it."

Nupur: " but u should! Its so beautiful'"

Mayank: (cutting in) if u will let me I will hear it away now."
Nupur bit her lip and leaned back in her seat. He had almost asked her to shut up! Wow!

Heart: that was rude!"

Mind: " do mine ears deceive me?"

Heart: " stop laughing! That was indeed rude!"

Mind: " no that was stupid of u! how many times have I asked to leave the thinking part to me?"

Heart: " oh really? So can u think of a topic mr Mind!"

Mind: " by all means!"

And just then another idea struck Nupur'

Nupur: " haven't u ever even heard about the singer? He was my first crush! He is so damn handsome!"

Mayank: " I have seen him I guess.. heard one or two of his songs but not this one.."

Mind: " see! He is talking!"

Heart: " yeah yeah! What next now?"

Mind: " ermm' I just thought this far!"

While her heart shouted at her mind, Nupur went on, " u have? He is damn handsome na?"

She had tried to show her excitement , hoping she would finally get a topic to talk on.

Mayank: (turning towards her with a raised eyebrow) "u expect me to answer that? even if u are not very fond of our physical intimacy, trust me I m very much straight and definitely not into men!"

Nupur bit her lip to stop herself form bursting out laughing bcz that was exactly what she feared doing! However her shiny eyes and shaking shoulders gave her away.

Mayank: " what are u laughing at now?"

Nupur: " nothing!"

She coughed to cover up the giggled and looked straight ahead!

Mayank didn't say anything, but he was irritated by the way she had ignored the point he intended to make on her being physical uncomfortable with him and had not bothered denying it. instead she was trying hard not to laugh! Scowling he took the last turn which would lead them to the restaurant!

they were soon seated in a lavish table for two and Nupur was actually starting to enjoying the surrounding.

Mayank: " u order the dinner , I will be back soon"

Nupur: (frowning) where are u going?"

Mayank: rolling eyes "I was intending to make an important call! Or will I need to take ur permission now?"

Nupur: there is no need to get angry! And I m not giving the order, u do that urself when u come back!"
saying this she turned her face away and Mayank took a deep breath to calm his growing anger. She was acting beyond weird now and he was indeed irritated. Leaving the thought of the call, he sat down and took the menu card in his hands.

Mayank: " what do u want to eat?"
Nupur: " didn't u make that important call?"
Mayank: " cut the crap please and tell me what should I order for u!"

Nupur: " anything! Order whatever u order for urself."
Mayank: " what is that suppose to mean?"

Nupur: " kya problem hai? its simple! Order whatever u do for urself!"

Mayank: " let me guess now! U don't even have ur own food choice?"

Nupur: " I do but m not that hungry today!"

Mayank: " then why exactly was I called form office when I was busy working there?"

Nupur: " because that is all u did since morning inspite of my informing u I needed to spent some time with u!"

Mayank : "please correct urself! u wanted to spent touch me not tie with me right?"

Nupur: " had hai! why do u always have to behave this way? Or koi topic nahe ho sakta?"
Mayank: " fine! Suit urself! what do u want to talk about?"
Nupur : (smiling and turning to him) how about u start by telling me something about urself?"

The change in his expression told her he would again take the discussion into wrong path and so she quickly added, "no wiat please! ur face tells me what sort of answer I m going to get!"
she pouted and Mayank smiled inspite of himself because indeed he was going to throw fire at her. his smile was reflected back by her and he felt himself relax a bit. he could enjoy the time, instead of scowling!

Nupur: " see there! We can enjoy the time instead of scowling!"
his lips twitched at the way she interpreted her thoughts.

Mayank: " ok then! Shall I order now?"

Nupur: " I guess u should!"

they again ate in silence as yet again they had no topic to talk about and her heart had rejected all the ideas her mind suggested.

She took a deep breath and placed the spoon away, " Mayank be honest! U said u had so many girlfriends! And u must have taken them out for dates! Do u always stay this quiet?"
Mayank was again caught off guard but somewhere he was enjoying it because for the first time since they met, she was being herself with him , and he could feel it.

Mayank: " yes and they don't bother about it! because I do make up later on! However in ur case as u are the only woman who don't want me to touch u '"

Nupur: (groaning) how can u take everything towards *that*?"

He grinned, " towards what?"

Nupur: " u know very well!"
she glared but did turn a bit red nonetheless.

Nupur: " ok na! How about we stick to the problem?"

Mayank: " which problem?"

Nupur: " uff! Problem of not having any topic to talk on!"
Mayank : "is that a problem?"

Nupur: " it definitely is!"

Mayank: " so m I to talk about ur handsome singer now?"
Nupur brows knitted for a moment and then she burst out laughing, " hahaha! I didn't mean that! but well I wont mind!"

Mayank grinned along. He was indeed loving this carefree side of her. even if this was due to the fact that they were siting in public place and she was safe from his advances.

Half an hour later the left the restaurant and were on their way home, when suddenly, Nupur who was feeling sleepy, almost shouted, " icecream! Mayank icecream! Mujeh icecream kahni hai!"
she looked at him excitedly and he parked the car shaking his head.

Mayank: " which one will u have?"

Nupur: " errmm' I love ice lolly but abhe uska mood nahe! So I will go for Cornetto! And while u get it I will msg Gunjan! ye uske favorite icecream hai!"

Mayank: " yeah ok! Oh btw if u are msging Gunjan, I hope u remember we have a pending invitation! U should ask Sam and her to join us someday"
Nupur: "seriously? U mean it?"

Mayank: " yeah thast why I am saying it ?"

Nupur: " acha ok na! U go get the icecream! Mein Gunjan ko call he kr lete hoon!"

5 minutes later when Nupur had had her ice cream and called Gunjan to invite her they were on their way back to home.

An hour later they both were already in bed and Mayank was thinking about how to reinforce his room changing plan, because still it was difficult to sleep beside her and not touch her'

suddenly he felt her arm on his and he looked around at her.. she was smiling up at him, " thanks for everything tonight Mayank'"

she mumbled and yawned and Mayank pulled her closer to himself and just lied beside her holding her while she soon slept in his arms'.

By the time Myaank slept himself, he wanst sure about changing the rooms anylonger'

your updates always leave me laughing...i swear the mind vs heart battles reminds me of mayur's banters in mjht😆...loved that nupur dealt with mayank so calmly and rerouted everything that couldve turned into an ugly conversation into something comical...finally mayank is actually falling for the person nupur is...and finally love is starting to overpower lust 😊...continue soon!
