PART 25

Nupur woke up, all cuddled up to Maynk the next day, but unlike last time, this time, she felt no need to repel or move away… she just lied there , snuggled closely to him and with his arms around her… for the first time in life, there were no nightmares for her… she had felt protected… this wasn't a very entertaining thought when she felt protected in the arms of the man, who had forced her throughout, against her will, but still, she did feel protected in his arms…

Placing her chin on his chest, she looked up wondering , when will he wake up, because she did need to get up.. she was going home that day.. home…

"checking me out? Well most of the women think I am beyond handsome."
Mayank opened his eyes and grinned at Nupur who groaned and tried to move away, " yeah u can say that, keeping in mind the number of women u have been with! What was the name of that girl who messaged u the other day?"
Mayank: (pulling her back and scowling) "I need to change my number!"

Nupur: "oh please don't go to such pain on my account!! Now leave me please! I need to get ready! aj meine ghar jana hai!"

She was smiling broadly now and Mayank smiled back at her, " sweetheart we have to go at noon!"

Nupur: " han to? We should get ready on time na?"

Mayank: "ok! I will let u go in a while."
Nupur: "what do u mean by in a while? I need to go na!"
she again tried to move away but Mayank's grip on her waist was to strong for her, " can u lie down like a good girl please so that I can wish u a goodmorning."
Nupur: " u just wished that na? U said goodmorning! Now leave me please!"

Mayank: (sighing and holding her face in his hands) "I intend to wish u goodmorning in a different way today!"

He leaned closer and gently placed his lips on hers.. the kiss came as a shock for Nupur and so she didn't even remembered fighting back, until he had already deepened the kiss, and there was no point left of fighting back.. she just held onto him, waiting for the kiss to end and as soon as it did, she placed her head on his shoulders, " I m not very fond of ur new ways of wishing me things!"
Mayank (chuckling) "yeah u are not fond, u simply love my ways!"
Nupur: " in ur dreams Mr Sharma! now can I leave?"

Mayank: " by all means!"

He removed his arms from around her and Nupur got up and left to have a bath…

When she was just at the door of the washroom, Mayank called her name out, " Nupur…"

Nupur turned around to find him still sprawled on the bed, " do u remember what u said to me last night?"
Nupur: " (frowning) no I don't! but mama says I do have a habit of mumbling in my sleep… what exactly did I say?"
Mayank: " u said I can be good at times with u!"

He winked and Nupur groaned, " don't ever take what I mumble in my sleep seriously please! its nonsense!"
Mayank: " and u said many other things too! Not to forget did many other things too!"

At this Nupur looked at him sharply, " if u are kidding then this is just not a good joke!"

Mayank: " I m completely against all forms of kidding sweetheart, specially when two adults can do much more entertaining deeds!"

He stared at her, and Nupur felt a warm feeling in her body…

Mayank: " seems like u got it! I shouldn't go on calling u a kid anylonger!"

He laughed while Nupur scowled, " I thought u were talking about last night!"
Mayank: " well! Nothing much! except that my pretty wife wont let me move away until I promise I will hug her the whole night!"
for the first time since she had met him, she actually blushed! Not because she wanted too, but because she knew so well, that he wanst lying about last night. It was so typical of Nupur to make such demands…

Nupur: " I am never watching television with u again!"
Mayank: " and here I was intending to shift tv in our room and order for the best horror movies!"

He grinned while Nupur simply glared back and went to the washroom.. as soon as she closed the door, she closed her eyes too..

Mind: " trust me its not my fault! its all thanks to this idiot heart of urs!"

Heart: " oh come on! I m not the one who is suppose to think na? U shouldn't have dozed off! But I enjoyed!"

Mind: " u r…"

Heart: " amazing ! I know I know! I wish I could teach u something of it too!"

Nupur was stealing glances at Mayank, and was thinking hard to find a way to get him out of there.

Somehow, unknowingly to her, many of her relatives had made an appearance and they all were sitting in the lounge WITH mayank , and Nupr was working in the kitchen with her mom! But all her attention was on Mayank. he was definitely scowling and she wondered why wanst her uncle getting it and why wont he just stop cracking those jokes?

Taking a deep breath, she thought it had already been two hours since she was home. Her father had treated her as if he had missed her, but her mother, bro and sis, had been happy and glad and have made sure she knew they had missed her immensely.

She was happy to be back home, if only those relatives would leave maaynk alone, she could concentrate on the milk bottle she was making for her baby cousin, ishi's. suddenly on an impulse, she thought of an idea to get Mayank out of there before he throws something at her poor uncle.

Taking the bottle and holding ishi in her arms , she said to her mother, " mom, mein ishi ko apne room mein sula det hoon ok?"
Mrs Busahn replied, " han han jao Nupur!"
as soonas she got permission form her mother, she left the room, and instead of going to the bedroom, she went to the lounge. Taking a deep breath and thanking God her father wasn't around, she went up to Mayank and placing her hand onhis arms and smiling at him, " Mayank… apne mera room nahe na dekha? Ayen mein apko dikhate hoon!"
her uncle instantly said, " han han zaroor dikhao ise! Abhe tk apna kamra nahe dikhaya?"
Nupur flashed a smile at her uncle, and moved away, hoping Maynk would follow quietly!

He did…

They entered her room, and Mayank placed his arm around d her waist, " wow! Someone seems to be in romantic mood!"
Nupur: " in ur dreams! I just wanted to save my poor uncle from ur wrath!"

Mayank: " and here I was thinking of no longer calling u a kid! (pulling her closer) u just gave a perfect expression to ur relatives that u needed time alone with me!"

Nupur: (groaning) don't tell me!"

Mayank: " thast exactly what it is! And now they must be thinking we are busy in romance!"

Nupur: " but we are not! I am here to make sure ishi sleeps quietly!"

With this Nupur moved away and went to the bed, sitting with ishi in her lap, all cuddled up and her milk bottle in her hand.

Ishi seemed hungry and sleepy both and so she slept within a few minutes… Nupur kept on rocking her softing, until she was sure the baby was asleep..and then she lied her down, placed a kiss on her forehead and placed pillows around her to make sure she wont fall.

Nupur: " I m done here! If u want to stay then u can watch tv, I need to go back to kitchen!"

She said this and was about to move away when mayank held her arm and pulled her towards himself, " I have a better idea!"

Nupur: " known of ur better ideas are working! Mayank I need to go downstairs na!"

Mayank: " only after u kiss me!"
Nupur glared at Maynk while he just grinned back.

Maynk: " suit urself! u are not leaving until I receive my kiss!"

Nupur: " wow! Is this a new way of torturing?"

Mayak: " its my way of not forcing u!"

He grinned and Nupur just glare back, " m not kissing u! sorry!"
Mayank: " then u are staying in my arms!"
Nupur: " mayank kya hia?"

Just then she heard her mom calling her, " Nupurrr!"
Nupur: " maaynk mama bula rahe hain! Please na!"

Mayank: " not until u kiss me sweetheart!"
Nupur: " ye kya tareeka hai?"
Mayank: " m waiting!"

He moved closer to her and looked in her eyes, " I need u to kiss me!"
Nupur heard her mother's voice again, " Myaank, mom aa jaen ge! Can u please leave me?"
Mayank: "not at all sweetheart!"

Nupur knew Mayank wont leave her even if her mother would be standing in the room beside them.

Groaning she looked up at him, : " ok u need to kiss! Then hurry up!"
she closed her eyes, but Mayank chuckled, " sorry sweetheart! I m not kissing u, u r!"
Nupur opened her eyes wide and stared at him blankly, " u have officially lost it!"

Mayank : " maybe yes, but its u who has to kiss me!"
he grinned and something struck Nupur.. the picture.. the kid… the smiling kid with his mother…. Mayank resembled that kid only when he grinned…

After this it wasn't the fear of her mother, or the fear of him not leaving her…

Something else made her do that…she leaned closer to him, and took his still smiling lips for a kiss…. She had intended on a peck, but once their lips met, she couldn't help but move closer to him and kiss him…. Yes she kissed him….

As soon as Mayank was over the shock of the kiss, he kissed her back… passionately, with his arms around her and his hands roaming her body… it was a deep kiss and none of tehm wanted to move, but suddenly Mayank moved away and went to stand at the other side of the room… even before Nupur could pull herself together, the door of the room opened and her aunt came in, " array tm dono ho yaahan? Meien socha check karloon ishi kese hia!"

Nupur wasn't sure her voice would support her and so she just smiled and stealing a glance at Mayank, she left the room….

Mind: " u are driving me crazy idiot! What was that? why did u have to send extra blood to me so that I wont be able to comprehend situation?"
Heart: " shut up for a while will u?"
Mind: " and why should I do that?"

Heart: "because I am thinking!"

Mind: "ha! That was the joke of the year!"
Heart: " yes and the tragedy of the year would be…. I think I m falling for him…."
