I feel that what he cannot believe is that he sat there with Naintara when he knew she has some wrong intentions and he felt wierd around her...he cannot believe that he accepted the drink and one thing led to another...i am pretty sure he knows that she tricked him and everyone else... – Bang On!!!! It is about guilt for his own actions which led to this situation….He is hardly thinking about what NT did or did not…in his mind that is inconsequential

All the words/dialogues that Maan said...is for Geet n Geet only...she does not deserve pain, I cannot ruin her life...I believe it has nothing to do with naintara...he is guilty, he feels ashamed...that his whole family and most importatnly Geet has to witness something like this... – He said those things for both Geet and Naintara. "Gentle heart" comment was only for Geet but not marrying and ruining life is about marriage in general….He feels that if he can hurt Geet, he can hurt anyone

WHen Maan said Geet is not his...it is because he feels that he is not capabale of controlling himself with another woman under the infulence of something...whether or not something happened...he feels that even if he marries Geet what is the guarantee that he will not do something like this agian...he cannot take this chance with Geet...because HE CAN NEVER HURT HER...he is guilty of his actions...he feels that he does not deserve Geet after this... and he is not good enough for her...he lost trust on himself... – Bang On!!! He feels guilty and ashamed.

So now he wants to punish himself...and that is why he said...he will bear the pain...cus he deserved it...until justice is served... – Yes!!!

So Now Maan wants to bring justice... I am just a bit confused about the 5 steps things... – He was on top of cliff and in 5 steps, he would have plunged into the cliff killing himself….He was contemplating suicide at that point.

The way you had written the update...it seems like Maan will now be using reverse psychology and his mind in order for Naintara to bring out the truth...- Not Really…Right now he is not thinking of proving innocence…In his guilt, He has accepted his mistake…at this point he is only thinking about guilt, feeling ashamed and hurting his love and family.

His ego is shattered because he feels he is used...he became a victim because of the few sips he had, I m not sure if Naintara even added something to the drink cus...beer does not settle that quickly the system...so it must have been a drug...cus the effect was v quick... – We will know in future chapters as truth unfolds.

Yes, He shattered as he had destroy the trust and love his family had in him.

He cant even look into his Geet's eyes. Whom now he claims as not his Geet

because of his mistake which is still to be revealed.

Is he trying to make NT split the truth by herself.

As he said report to the police. SO circumstances will lead NT to tell the truth.

Geet understood the hidden meaning of Maan's statements.

She know Maan will never be wrong.
