******************** Chapter-7Geet came to office with Maan and silently followed him..she could notice Maan's attitude had been doubled..As soon as they entered the office it looked bomb erupted..All were running here and there to save their life then in few seconds everything became silent as if everyone is dead..
Sudddenly Geet babbled"Haila itna sannata kyoun hai bhai"The whole staff started staring at Geet but soon they indulged themselves in work on the very sight of Maan..
Maan called Adi to his cabin while leaving for his cabin followed by Geet
Maan said"Geet can't you keep quiet for few moments"Geet snapped"I am quiet since I have taken breakfast either you scolded me or show your button like big fierce eyes "
From behind she heard a strange laughter to which Maan responded "Adi"
Adi straightened his tie"Sorry sir..here are the papers of miss Geet's appointment letter and contract
Geet with little amusement"Contract"
Maan explained"Geet..I don't differentiate between family and friends coz the only thing important to me is work so this is the contract you will be temporary for one month then your work will decide you are eligible for getting permanent here or not ..."
Geet in her mind"Who is going to stay here after one month"
Maan said to Adi in an ordering tone though gentle"Adi I want you to show Miss Geet the whole office "
Adi replied"Yes sir...Miss Geet...lets move"
Geet smiled"After you"
They left ...Adi showed the whole office to Geet while heading towards canteen Adi bumped to a girl ...she was looking very sweet ,her hands were equipped with food items...Her chips packet sprung in air and got spoiled landing on floor..
She shouted on Adi"Adi sir,see what you have done..have you lended your eyes or what" Adi kept on staring her..Pinky continues"Had hai Adi sir despite of apologizing you are staring at me..I get scared of only one pair of eyes in this whole world that's of DD not yours...so stop staring"
Geet murmurs"Jhalli ..she cannot read his emotions which are pouring out of his eyes"
Adi "Pinky it was your fault you should be careful"
Geet interrupted before Pinky's reply"Hello I am Geet Handa..new secretary of Maan "
Pinky felt as if she has heard this voice before ...she spoke with lil uncertainity"Geet handa..daughter of Mohinder Handa"

Geet and Pinky moved away chatting..
After some time
Geet was arranging file"Ohho babaji kahan fasa diya aapne..these many files to arrange so boaring but in few moments her eyes lit up with mischief..
Maan called Geet in his cabin with the file of Mr.Chopra ...she entered and handed the file to Maan and left..While going through the file of Mr.chopra's project he came across a paper of accounts in that..He went to Geet's cabin and the scenario boiled him ..she was taking her afternoon nap dozing on her chair..He slammed the file on table ...that made her almost fall from the chair she managed to escape the fall..she looked at Maan whose angry eyes were set on her
She stammered"Maa..maan I don't know how I fell asleep"
Maan replied in an angry tone"Miss Handa..thats Maan sir I am your boss and this is my office not any playground"
Geet came near him "Maan..I"but her words pinned in her mouth itself when she felt the cold touch of his fingers on her lips..a short eye ock which got broken with the words of Maan"Miss Handa...I don't like to see my employees opening their mouth without my permission don't forget you are my secretary not any princess of some state if you cannot work properly then leave the job this is your first mistake so I am ignoring it ...maintain all the files again and this time I don't wanna see any mistake otherwise you wont be present in Khurana construction for doing any mistake"He walked off without noticing the tears which rolled down her rosy cheeks ..
She complained to babaji"Babaji dekh rahe ho na aap..how he shouted on me I did that knowingly ..nahi to socho how on earth I can mix the papers"she looked at the accounts paper and said while picking it up"chal bhai tujhe tere ghar pahuncha doon and kept it in right file..She wiped her tear"Geet get ready for handling this DD "
Maan called Adi"Adi have you fixed the meeting with Batra's.."
Adi replied"ssir..everything is prepared but you had told you won't attend any meeting after office hours today as you will spend this evening with Chahak"
Maan suddenly remembered his promise .."Cancel all the meetings..if I won't be on time ...this time she will kill me" Adi gave his trademark laughter
Maan said"Adi..where is Geet?"
Adi "sir she left the office with others in a disgusting mood"
Maan said"Adi you should also leave now"..Adi left..
Maan to himself"I think I told her a bit more..she would have not expected this from me but this is office not home.."...his conscience scolded him"Maan shutup she is your friend but you fool always keep on showing attitude without thinking to whom you are speaking what"...Then he tried to keep his point "Oh shutup..this is my office and here there is no space for relation and emotions but only hard work.."
Maan was passing by a bus stop in his black mecedes Benz when his eyes fell to Geet whose face was still red in anger..Maan stopped the car infront of her ..whole crowd started looking at that car..Maan came out of the car
Maan" Geet come sit in the car ..we are going to same destination.."
Geet shoted baack"How can I go with my boss..sir you please go.."
Maan warned her"Quietly sit in the car otherwise don't blame me later"
Geet made face and turned her face other side..Maan smiled and lifted her in his arms to which Geet shouted"Maan put me down now"..
Crowd gathered there..a sardar ji came forward and saidoye khuleaam kudi nu tang karta hai..pito issey"
Geet gave Maan now what you will do look..Maan smirked and said"Paaji pito(beat me) but after listening to me..She is my wife... in morning I scolded her a little cause the pulse was salty for that she left the house and now when I am saying to come home with me she is refusing that's why"
Sardaar ji"oye kuriye you should not leave house for such small things and pra ji you should not scold her for such small things.."
Geet "he is not my husband"
Maan"dekha praji she is even refusing that she is married to me"
Geet smirked "pra ji you tell first what should I do ..I am fed up of him...he scolded then was not ready to hear my words..not even apologized would you have done the same if bhabhiji would have got angry with you"
Sardaarji"oye nahi I would have apologized..pra ji you apologize and take your wife back to your home"
Maan "Why should I?"
One lady from crowd"galti ki hai to sorry to bolna padega otherwise you cannot take her with you"Geet winked at Maan..he gritted his teeth and mumbled"Sorry."
Geet"have you said something?"
Maan loudly"I am sorry Geet"
Geet very innocently said"there was no need of apologizing Maan..I forgave you lets go home..but first put me down"
Maan gently put her down and they drove off in car making their way from crowd
Maan"Geet you made me apologize infront of the whole crowd"
Geet "you scolded me so rudely for such a small mistake..you deserve that"
Maan smiled" see Geet you are my best friend but in office you are my employee and in office I like only one thing that's work and I want my employees to do the same"
Geet smiled"I understand Maan"
