Chapter 5

And They Met

Its been a month she came here in London, but it felt like a century, far away from her home, her parents, her Armaan. Was she missing him ? but why ? He never left her alone even in this whole month, he use to stick to her through phone calls, he use to call her many times a day, a morning call, a breakfast call, a lunch call, an evening call, a dinner call, and finally a Good Night call,

Days were passing quickly but for Armaan days were crawling slowly slowly. During her absence in india. Armaan forced his parents to visit Malhotra's and fixed his marriage date as soon as possible. And on his constant pressure his parents finally decided to fix marriage date and it was decided that their marriage will be held just after shilpa's return form London. She was coming in the end of January and so they decided that the marriage will be in the first week of February. The preparations for wedding were on the peak, but the bride was unaware of all this, Armaan requested all not to tell her, as he want to tell her by himself.

Armaan was missing her soo much and also he want to tell her about their marriage date, so that he planned something. And very next day he announced on breakfast table that he is going to Manchester for a business meeting. Billy Malik eyed him suspiciously cz he knows his business was not going so well and he had no new projects then why on earth he was going for a meeting. But he ignored it. On the other hand Ananya had seen his eyes brightening with light she knew that he was just making some kind of excuse, he is just going for Shilpa. Billy Malik left for the office and Ananya thought to have a talk with Armaan.

Ananya : Armaan ! when will you return ?

Armaan trying to act as if he dn't know any thing : I dn't know Mom, may be after two weeks.

Ananya : when will you go ?

Armaan : probably after next week.

Ananya : boy! I'm your mother okay, so stop acting.

Armaan becomes confuse on his mother's statement.

Armaan: Mom'aaam its nothing like that. I really have a meeting to attend there at Manchester.

Ananya : Dn't lie Armaan I know you are missing her. Its good son, if you want to spend time with her then it's a good thing. Dn't be so shy in expressing your love for her. Go and spend some quality time with her before your marriage. And listen do take her on shopping for the marriage.

Armaan with embarrassing looks : Mom ! Sorry, actually I wanted to spend some time with her before our marriage. And you know I still didn't tell her about our marriage date, I wanted to tell her infact I wanted to sae her reaction on this news. And dn't worry about that, I'll take your bahu on Shopping definitely.

It was a cold evening here in London, Shilpa was getting bore, The weather was going outstanding and Romantic but she was not paying any attention to it., as all of her friends were out for a party, but she wasn't feeling like going out, She thought to do some work on her last project. So with this thought she tried to concentrate on her papers but her mind was not with her, She was missing Armaan, Now She was addict to his calls, but he didn't call her today, Even she called him but he didn't pick her phone, now she was not feeling well that's why she didn't join her friend today in the hang out. She was still thinking that why he didn't call her, when her phone bell rings. Screen flashes Armaan's name, without thinking any more she picked her phone. And walks towards the window and again start looking out side the Romantic cold weather.

Shilpa : Hey Armaan, Where were you ?

Armaan : Hi Shone, I'm sorry I was busy, just saw your Miss call.

Shilpa : Hmmm.

Armaan : Shona, What Happened ?

Shilpa : ummm, Nothing, was just, just missing you.

Armaan smiles widely and speak in a soft inquiring tone : Really ?

Shilpa with a teasing smile : Not Really, but I guess I was missing you Mr.

Armaan with a obvious expression : I'm Sure, you were missing me, After all you have a cute, handsome fianc who loves you.

Shilpa's smiled turned into more sweet smile and she said : Yeah my Handsome, Cute, fianc who loves me that's why he didn't pick my call, hai na ?

Armaan with a serious tone : I was busy Shona, any way, tell me what's happening ?

Shilpa understand his serious tone, he was telling truth, may be he was really busy.

Shilpa : Okay, nothing, was just struggling with my project.

Armaan : That's sounds bore, where are your friends ?

Shilpa : They all are out for a hang out.

Armaan : right, why you dn't go with them ?

Shilpa : I wasn't feeling like going out.

Armaan : Alright. Ok Shona, I have to go for a meeting now. We'll talk after some time.

Shilpa with li'l worried frowns on her forehead : But Armaaan, what's this ? you just call me and now you are going for a meeting.

Please talk to me for more time, just few more minutes please.

Armaan with a sigh : Shona that meeting is important for me.

Shilpa : even important then me ?

Armaan ignores to give her answer to that question : ummm, hey there is someone on your door.

Shilpa : What ? how you know ?

Armaan : Cz I heard your door bell.

Shilpa : But I didn't'''.

She was cut inb/w when she heard the door bell ringing.

Shilpa : oh yeah you were right, there is someone, let me check.

She walks towards the door, and was just about to open it, when she heard Armaan.

Armaan : Shona I'm going for the meeting okay.

Shilpa : No, Stay on line okay, let me see who is disturbing us by ringing the door bell.

Armaan : Shona, let me go yaar, the person is waiting for me.

Shilpa : No, ok, now keep quit '..

Armaan : Ok listen '' I L'.

Shilpa : No ''

Still phone on her ear, she opened the door.

Armaan : I was sying I Love You.

Shilpa's eyes get opened so widely when she found Him infront of her.

Still phone on her ear.

Shilpa with joy : Armaaan

And then she jumped on him. Hugged him so tightly. Few ppl were passing through the hotel's corridor they stopped to see two love birds were hugging each other so tightly

Her hands were staying on his broad shoulders, Armaan lift her lightly above from her waist, and now she was looking down into his eyes with so much love. The same emotions were showing from his eyes as well. She rubbed her nose lovingly with his thin tip of nose. They came back from their dreamy land when they heard some of the ppl around them were commenting on their Jodi,

Person 1 : What a Romantic couple.

Person 2 : wow you guys look perfect with each other.

Person 3 : God Bless you both.

Armaan placed her on ground on her feet. And both Smiled on hearing those comments. Shilpa was now blushing on her such reaction. And Armaan was enjoying those comments and her blush.

Armaan with a sweetest smile to ppl around them : Thank you Guys.

Ppl dispersed from the corridor, and Shilpa griped his arm and drag him to the room.

Shilpa : C'mon in.

They reached inside her room, and once again Armaan was busying in studying her beauty of face. She saw him looking at her so intensely, and lowered her head.

Shilpa : Armaan ! Please.

Armaan with and artificial frown : What Shona ?

Shilpa again with a low tone : Stop staring at me like this.

Armaan with innocent expressions : I can't Help My Self Shona, I'm seeing you after whole 1 -1/2 month.

Shilpa gave him a sad smile and slowly moves into his arms, Armaan wrapped her into his arms and here she stayed for a while, hearing his heart beat which was not beating fast after seeing her, and was matching with her own heartbeat.

Armaan : Well, I See, you were really missing me haan ?

Shilpa : Didn't reply him She just stayed quite in his arms, after a while she said :

Shilpa : Armaan !

Armaan : Hmmm ?

Shilpa : Thank You,

Armaan : For What ?

Shilpa : For this surprise.

Armaan didn't say any word but hold her more tightly showing her how much he missed her.

For a long time they stayed there into eachother's arms.

After coming out from their sweet moment, Shilpa asked him each and everything about India. She was feeling so happy on having him infront of her eyes, it was a kind of sweet surprise for her. Both spent that evening with each other while taking coffee into sweet, and Romantic cold evening of London. Now she was enjoying that weather in a true sense.

And Yes now he was here in London, he didn't call her cz he was in his flight. He wanted to give her one more surprise, but there were more surprises to came for her. And Armaan just came here to give her those surprises.
