Maan was a very punctual and disciplined man, daily he used to be on his desk by 8:45 am, Pinky had instructions to bring him a coffee at 9, which she religiously did, and from 9 am onwards she did not even get enough time to even glance her surroundings, till 7 pm when he left she worked mechanically as per his instructions, though she was busy the whole day with only an hour long lunch for herself, she was happy working for a genius boss.

On one such day Maan has gone to Gurgoan so he was not in his cabin when Pinky came in with the usual 9 am coffee, o she placed the coffee and looked around the cabin, in her last 14 months working it was for the first time that she was looking around, as she was scanning the room she saw the photo frame of Handa's and she went near it to see whose picture as it, she looked at the pictures and realisd that it was the family photo f Handa's, she reluctantly pulled the garland hanging on it, just then Adi entered the cabin with a file and saw Pinky pulling off the garland, he shouted "Pinky" and the loudness of his voice startled her, "what the hell are you doing Pinky" she looked at him and then at the picture and said "Adi, you know them?" he said "no and yes, but why have you pulled that garland from the frame" she said "because, all are not dead" he was puzzled "what do you mean?" she said "I mean, yes Handa's are dead but Geet is alive" just then Maan entered the cabin and was startled to hear her statement, he said "how do you know Handa's?" she was a confident girl and replied "Geet was my classmate at Ahmadabad and she is not dead" Maan was speechless and Adi was shocked "are you sure?" she was like are you deaf "of course I am sure" Adi asked "where is she?" she shrugged "IDK" Adi said "but you said she is alive" she said "yes, she is but I don't know where she went or with whom she went after her parents died" Adi looked at Maan's face and asked "how do you know she is alive?" she said "she called me once asking if I have heard anything about Maan, hey wait, Manav Sir you are Geet's Maan?" Maan just nodded and synced in the chair.

Maan hired a detective to find Geet Handa, but was not successful as Geet Handa no longer existed after months of effort he gave up, he had removed the photo frame from his cabin and daily at night he would talk endlessly to the engagement ring that was tied in the string he wore in his neck, as he gained height and weight the ring became smaller and once he had to take it out as it was interrupting blood flow, so he wore the ring in the string which he tied around his neck.

As the year ended Anju was employed permanently with the Rai's, when Maan decided to open a KH branch in Delhi, Rai's were called to Delhi for legal advice, and Anju accompanied Mr. Rai as his assistant in the project.

On one Monday as Rai entred the KC ofiice every eye was turned in the direction of his 5'7" tall, slim, gorgeous assistant with waist length hair. Pinky was mesmerized to see the almond eyed woman of her age, Mr. Rai approached her and said "hello, I am Rai from Bangalore and she is my assistant Anjali Chawla, we are here to meet Mr. Adhiraj Gill" Pinky smiled at him and escorted them to the conference room where Adi had been waiting for them.

After the meeting it was decided that Rai and Anju will stay in Delhi for a week and study the legal parts of the extension, and as Arjun was there at AIIMS, they will stay with him instead of the KC guest house.

After a week Mr. Rai had a meeting with Manav Khurana to finalize the terms and conditions of the expansion of KH, as Mr. Rai and Anjali entered the conference room Maan felt her presence he jerked and looked at he woman entering the room, but when he saw Anjali he was dissappointe, he was thinking about Geet and was searching for his tomboyish 4'10" high plump girl with boy cut hair, cute little girl, but instead he saw a sexy young woman, he sighed and sat down; same was Anju's reaction as she entred the room she had a strong feeling that she will meet Maan, but when she saw a handsome macho man she sighed and cursed her luck.
