Raj came out of his room, all the things flashing in his mind, right from starting - the way Naina reacted on Naveen's death; the way she left him all alone in his life; the way he was trying to meet her, trying to ask her for a chance so that he can solve the matters between them; the way Naina reacted when he enters KMA; the way Naina ask him to call her Dr. Naina; the way Naina was getting friendly with him; the way he was happy to have his Nia back with him and the back his trust was broken by Naina. He stood there with his back at the door, tears running through his face. Suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned to see who it is, and it was Shalini.

Shalini: - "Bas Raj Bas, apne aap ko aur kitni takleef doge?"

Raj: - "Shalini, karun bhi to kya karun ab mein? Jab bhi aankhen band karta hoon, wo sare pal mere samne aate, jab naina ne mere pyaar ki insult ki. Mein chah kar bhi un sab palon ko apne dimaag se nahin nikal sakta."

Shalini looked at him, she know she can do nothing right now to make him feel better but she has to do something, because it's impossible for her to see him like this.

Shalini: - "Jaanti hoon ki wo sab bholna tumhare bas ki baat nahin hai, par tum jante ho ki tumhe khud ko sambhalna hoga, tabhi to tum apne vaade ko pora kar paoge."

Raj looked at her and then left the place. Shalini followed him to see him leaving the academy in his jeep. She turned back to leave the place but at the same time, one more car enter the academy and Abhimanyu & Nandini came out of it.

Abhimanyu came towards her and ask her: - "Yeh Raj is tarah kahan gaya Shalu? Sab theek hai na?"

Shalini: - "Kuch theek nahin hai." She said and hugged nandini to get some support she needed at that time. They all left for Shalini's room as they all have so many questions in their mind.

Here, Raj was running his jeep through the roads of Ambala.

He sit on his knees still holding his face in his hands, and crying more and more to get rid of this pain, but was feeling helpless to do nothing.

He looked at the locket in his neck and takes it out remembering that Naveen has given those chains to Raj and Naina on their engagement and the way, these were the imprints of all those good moments.

He hold the chain in his hand and mumered: - "Sorry yaar, ab yeh pyaar ki nahin dhoke ki nishani lagti hai, ab nahin pehan paunga isse..." He looked at the chain again and kept it in his pocket.

He again closed his eyes to let the pain leave him through his tears, but the more he was trying, the more he was feeling weak inside in his soul to hold all this in his heart. He moved around the place to finally settle on a rock and was lost again in all his memories.

The scene now shifts to Shalini, Abhimanyu and Nandini who were in shalini's room. Shalini has told them everything about Raj and Naina, Abhimanyu & Nandini were also in shock as they find it unbelievable.

Abhimanyu: - "Humhe yakeen nahin hota ki Naina aisa kar sakti hai. "

Shalini: - "Yakeen to mujhe bhi nahin aata Abhimanyu, agar maine wo sab apni aankhon se na dekha hota."

Nandini: - "Par kya Naina ke liye Naveen ki begunahi itni mayne rakhti hai ki usse Raj aur uska pyaar nazar hi nahin aaya, Hum sab jante hain ki Raj ke liye Naina aur Naveen ki kitni ahmiyat hai, jab Naveen ki maut hui to kahiin na kahiin Raj ke andar ka ek hisa bhi mar gaya tha. Aur ab naina ne to usse bilkul maar hi diya."

Abhimanyu: - "Hum Naina se baat karke dekhe kya?"

Shalini: - "Nahin bhi, kyunki raj aisa nahin chahta. aur mein bhi nahin chahti ki hum kuch aisa kare jisse Raj ko aur dukh mile."

Nandini: - "Mein samajh sakti ho Shalini, par kya Raj ne ab bhi Naina ko maaf kar diya hai?"

Shalini: - "Nahin, aur na hi wo kar payega. Kyunki is baar naina ne uske pyaar ko dhoka diya hai, aur yeh Raj kabhi maaf nahin kar sakta."

Abhimanyu: - "Par ab hoga kya? Raj ne tumhe kuch bataya kya?"

Shalini: - "Kuch bataya to nhi, bas itna hi kaha ki is din Naveen ki begunahi sabit ho jayegi, wo yeh sab chood kar chla jayega."

Abhimanyu and Nandini looked at her in shock.

Abhimanyu: - "Yeh tum kya keh rahi ho Shalu?"

Nandini: - "Haan Shalini, Raj aisa kabhi nahin kar sakta. Wo aise humhe chood ke kaise ja sakta hai."

Shalini: - "Nandini, is baar raj ko sambhalna bahut mushkil hoga."

Nandini nodded and Abhimanyu said: - "hum jante hain, par hum Raj se baat karenge, unhe samjayenge ki wo aisa kuch na kare."

Nandini: - "Haan, hum kal subah hi raj se baat karenge, hum usse aise jane nahin denge."

Shalini just nodded.

The scene now again shifts to Raj who was sitting in the same position until he felt something vibrating in his pocket. He took it out only to see a mobile flashing a private number on the screen. He answered the call and after this, he started roaming around the place. He then enters a place which was crowded with trees and came back after 10 minutes only to go back and sit on the same rock like before.

On the other hand, its Ritu who is talking with someone on phone.

Ritu: - "Tum dhyaan to de rahe ho na."

Person: - "Haan, de raha hoon. Woh yahiin ek lake ke pass bhetha hai kafi der se, kahiin ja nahin raha, kuch kar nahin raha, befikar rahiye uspar poori nazar rakhi jayegi."

Ritu: - "Theek hai, ek pal ke liye bhi usse idhar udhar mat hone dena. Hamare plan ke liye yeh bahut zarori hai."

Person: - "Theek hai."

Saying this, Ritu cut the call and said: - "Maaf karna Major, hum to aapke samne yeh sachai kabhi nahin aane dete; par aap itne perfectionist kyun ho. Bahut kuch try kar liya par aapka dhyaan nahin hata paye par finally, is baar hum kamyaab ho hi gaye. Ab aap rahiye apni Naina ke ghaam me dhoobe hue, aur idhar hum apna kaam khatam kar lenge." She paused for sometime and then continued: - "Lagta hai Naina ki kismat kuch zyada hi buri hai, jin do insano se tum sabse zyada pyaar karti ho, un dono ki tabahi mere haathon hi likhi hai; Pehle tumhara bhai Naveen aur ab tumhara pati Rajveer. Bahut buri kismt hai tumhari." She said giving a smile.

Here in Jungle, we can see that a person is walking through the Jungle with full care without making any noise, taking full attention. He walked for another 15 minutes only to enter a small cottage. It looks like no one has come over there from ages. He took some tteps to inspect the place and then, he entered a room on one side. Inside, there is an old almirah he slowly open the door and swap a card there, only to open a passage on the floor.

He goes inside and said: - "Major Rajveer Singh Shikhawat reporting Sir."

A person turns and it's Major General Arjun Sharma.

Major: - "At Ease Major, so finally u managed to come here."

Raj: - "Yes Sir, aana to tha hi na. But kya yeh jagah safe rahegi."

Major: - "Dont worry Raj, har week hum Naveen ki location change karte rahenge; tum bas dhyaan rakhna ki koi tumhe follow na kare."

Raj: - "Uska intzaam ho gaya hai Sir."

Major nodded and said: - "Yahan par full security rahegi Major, aap chinta mat kariye."

Raj: - "Thank u Sir."

Major: - "Ab jaiye, aur Naveen se mil lo. Bas Raj, Raj hi bol raha hai. Improvement hai par samajh nahin aa raha ki kya karen."

Raj: - "Koi baat nahin Sir, Mein dekhta hoon ki mein kya kar sakta hoon."

Major General Arjun Sharma nodded and Raj entered inside a room. There was Naveen sitting on a bed and looking lost. Raj closed his eyes on watching his friend in this situation but when he heard his name from his lips, a smile came on his lips. He crissed the distance between them and took him in a hug.

Raj: - "Tu janta nahin hai Naveen ki tere mooh se kuch sunane ke liye kitna bechain tha mein. Aaj mein bahut khush hoon ki atleast tunhe bolna to shoro kiya. Mein aaj bahut khush hoon mere dost." He said smiling through his tears.

He looked at him and he can guess that something is really bothering him inside his heart. Raj tried to talk with him, but Naveen never reacted on anything. He thought to try once again, and this time he took out a packet from his pocket. It has the pictures of Fresher's Ball. He started showing them to Naveen. He didn't react on watching all the pics except the last one. It was of Nair and Ritu standing together. His eyes were shocked to see that pic. Raj noticied this, and immidiately called Major General Arjun Sharma inside. He was also shocked like him. They thought its Nair, and immidiately gives an order to trace each and every action of Nair. But Raj said nothing, he thought for sometime, and then said: - "Sir, kya mein kuch keh sakta hoon."

Major nodded and he continued: - "Sir, is photograph mein do insaan hain; to phir hum sirf ek par hi dhyaan kyun de rahe hain; Humhe dhyaan dono par dena chahiye."

Major: - "Aap kehna chahte hain ki Dr. Ritu Mishra."

Raj: - "Sir, mujhe lag raha hai ki is case me jo missing link hai wo yeh photograph hi hai."

Major: - "To aap kya chahte hain Major?"

Raj: - "Sir, mein chahta hoon ki Captain Nair ke saath saath Dr. Ritu Mishra ko bhi trace kiya jaye, for each and every second."

Major: - "R u sure Major?"

Raj: - "Yes Sir, Aaj itne saalon baad to ek hint mila hai, mein isse aise kho nahin sakta. Kya aap iski permission denge Sir?"

Major: - "Jis tarah aap Naveen ko begunah sabit karna chahte hain, ussi tarah mein bhi yehi chahta hoon Major. Don't worry, sab kuch ho jayega."

Raj: - "Thank u Sir."

Major General Arjun Sharma left the place and Raj went to Naveen: - "Tu phikar mat kar mere dost, aaj tunhe jo ek ishara kiya hai na, usse mein aise hi nahin jaane dunga. Mein tujhe nirdosh sabit karke rahunga." He hugged Naveen and then left the place with full attention. He didn't want to make any mistake because at this time, he can't afford to lose Naveen. He walked through the same jungle for around 30 minutes only to reach a place which is quite near the lake where he came in the evening. He stood there at a distance and scanned the place. He noticed some kind of movement on the other end and this makes him sure that someone is definitely following him.

He dialed a number and a person sitting on the lake side started moving around the place. He came to the side of dense trees and Raj changed his place with him and simply left the place to sit on the same lake.

The 2 persons who were following him saw this.

1st Person: - "Yeh banda pagal ho gaya hai kya jo idhar udhar ghoom kar yahiin aa ke bheth jata hai."

2nd Person: - "Mujhe bhi pagal hi lag raha hai, sale ne shaam se bore ka diya."

1st Person: - "Jo bhi ho, ab kaam to karna hi padega. Dekhte hain yeh kab yahan se uthata hai."

Raj sat in the same condition for another half an hour and then left the place. He sat inside his jeep and drived back to the academy. Reaching there, he thought: - "Iska matlab mere shaq bilkul theek tha, yeh log mujhe follow kar rahe hain. Ab mein dekhunga ki yeh log mujhe follow kaise karte hain, ab yeh log sirf wohi dekhenge jo mein dikhna chahta hoon."

Raj came to his room and checked that Naina is sleeping on the couch. He can see dried tears on her face, but this time he didn't feel to wipe those tears. He just locked the door, changed his clothes and laid on the bed. Slowly, he drifted to sleep.

Next Morning,

Raj wake up on the same timing and went for jogging. He was alert after last night, as he thought someone can follow him now too and he was right. He thought: - "Inhe to dhyaan se follow karna bhi nahin aata, kal raat se mein in logon ko ghuma raha hoon aur yeh araam se ghoom bhi rahe hain."

He smiled a bit and then, came back to his room to freshen up and left for his classes. The whole day passed like this only, classes and his work. It was evening and everyone was settled in the canteen to have some tea and snacks. Naina didnt came as she knew that everyone is angry with her, and right now she is not in a condition to talk with anyone.

She dialed a number.

"Hello..." said Veena on the other side.

Naina: - "Maa, mein Naina."

Veena: - "kaisi hai Naina; kya hua pareshaan hai kya?"

Naina: - "Mein theek hoon Maan, aur sab theek hai yahan."

Veena: - "Sach bata Naina, Raj to theek hai na."

Naina: - "Ji Maa, wo theek haoi; aapse kuch puchna tha maa?"

Veena: - "Haan pooch na."

Naina: - "Maa, maine ek galti kardi jis ki vajah se Veer mujhse bahut naraz hai. Mein kya karun Ma?"

Veena: - "Galtiyaan to tu hamesha se karti aayi hai Naina, yeh pehli baar nahin hai jab tunhe Raj ka dil dukhaya ho; par Raj tujhse bahut pyaar karta hai Naina, aaj nahin to kal wo tujhe maaf kar hi dega."

Naina: - "Maa..."

Veena: - "Kuch kehne ki zarorat nahin hai Naina, bas itni koshish kar ki Raj ko itna dukh mat dena, ki wo zindagi jeena hi bhool jaye."

Veena cut the call and Naina sat on the couch. She has tried to talk with him but he is just ignoring her. After sometime, Raj came back in the room. Naina was sitting on the same couch but immediately, she stood up to talk with Raj.

Naina: - "Veer, please mujhe maaf kar do..."

Raj: - "Mene pehle bhi kaha hai Naina ki Veer kehne ka haq tum kho chuki ho."

Naina: - "Aisa mat kaho please."

Raj: - "Kaise na kahun Naina, tum janti ho jab hum bache the tab humne yeh naam ek dosare ke liye choose kiye the, yeh naam hamare pyaar ke saath, hamare har us ek pal ke saath jodhe the jab hum saath me the, jab humhe yeh ehsaas hua the ki pyaar kya hota hai. Hamari zindagi ke wo sab haseen pal inse jodhe hue hain. Par ab jab hamare beech me wo dosti nahin rahi, jab hamare beech me wo pyaar nahin raha, jab hamare beech me wo vishwas nahin raha, to ab Veer aur Nia bhi nahin rahe."

Naina: - "Aisa nahin ho sakta Veer, Veer aur Nia to hamesha se hi saath rahe hain ek dosare ki parchayi ban kar aur wo dono hum dono ke saath hi hain."

Raj: - "Agar yeh baat thi to wo sab karne se pehle sochna tha Naina, wo har pal jab tum mere saath dosti ka, pyaar ka natak kar rahi thi na; us har ek pal ne Raj aur Nia ke beech ke har rishte ko todh diya aur ab wo rishta kabhi nahin jodh sakta kabhi bhi nahin."

Naina tried to speak but Raj stopped her: - "Please Naina, mein pehle hi bahut pareshan hoon aur ab tumhare saath koi behas nahin kar sakta, mujhe kabhi to apni zindagi jeene ka haq do." He said and left the place to change. He came back after 5 minutes and started doing some kind of work.

On the other side, Naina was shocked to hear all this from Raj; she sat on bed and kept thinking about all what happened in last few days. She looked at Raj who was busy in doing some work and kept thinking about his words. "Kya maine sach me apne Veer ko kho diya." This thought came to her mind but right now, she can do nothing. She thought that Raj needs some time to think over all this again and she will wait for a chance to talk with him again after sometime. She left the room to have some fresh air.

Raj saw her leaving and closed his eyes, "Maaf karna Naina, par is baar cha kar bhi mein yeh sab bhool nahin pa raha hoon." He completed his work and laid down to have some rest.

Naina was in grounds, she was trying to think over the things again and again, when she saw Shalini walking through the corridors. She increased her pace to talk with her.

"Shalini..." said Naina following her.

Shalini stopped and turned to saw her: - "Kuch chahiye tha aapko Dr."

Naina: - "Shalini, please kya mein apne ek dost se baat kar sakti ho." She said with some hope.

Shalini: - "Sorry Dr, par aap par bharosa karne ka kaam mein nahin kar sakti, jab aapne Raj ko hi dhokha de diya to hum kya cheez hain. Hamara vishwas, Hamari dosti to Raj ke saath, pyaar aur vishwas ke samne kuch bhi nahin hai. Sorry Dr, agar aapko koi professional kaam ho to bataiye varna personal baatein discuss karne me m not so interested. Thank u."

Shalini tried to move but Naina stopped her again.

Naina: - "Kya mujhe kabhi maaf nahin kar paogi?"

Shalini: - "Maine pehle bhi kaha tha tumhe ki jo tumne kiya hai uske liye Raj tumhe maaf kar sakta hai, par mein nahin." Saying this, she left the place.

In Mess, Cadets are trying their best to complete their assignment.

Huda: - "Yaar, yeh muchaad ne to jaan nikal di."

Yudi: - "Bro, tumhari jaan to ek choti si assignment mein bhi nikal jati hai."

Huda: - "Ooye chup kar Yudiye."

Pooja: - "Kyun,kya hua jat, Yudi ke ek sms se tere handset me virus aa gaya kya?"

Huda: - "Huda ke saath to koi panga nahin le sakta punjaban."

Ali: - "Huda Bhai kaam kariye, varna kisi aur ka to pata nahin par kal Captain Nair zaroor aapki class le lenge."

Huda: - "Asool Bhai, tu to bas rehan de."

Sanjana: - "Huda, Ali theek bol raha hai, jaldi se kaam kar le. baatein karne ke liye bahut time mil jayga."

Huda: - "Hayee, sach me."

Sanjana: - "Haan, next week tak Neev aa jayega na to jitna man kare utni baatein kar lena usse."

Huda made a face and everyone started laughing. Soon, he again started their work on assignments and finally, after 3 more hours, they were able to finish their assignment.

Ali: - "chalo, yeh assignment poora ho hi gaya, sab Major Rajveer ki vajah se."

Huda: - "ooye mehnat humne ki, aur credit Sir ko?"

Pooja: - "Aur nahin to kya jat, agar major Sir hamare handset me yeh new pack nahin dhalte to humare handset is assignment ke signal catch karte karte hi out of order ho jate."

Sanjana: - "Kabhi to sedhe se koi baat kar liya kar Pooja."

Pooja: - "Mere handset me to bas yehi mode hain Sanjana."

Yudi: - "Leave it guys, Can we just leave to have our dinner, its quite late aur lights off hone mein zyada time bhi nahin bacha hai."

Ali: - "Haan yudi bhai, chaliye."

They all ate their dinner chatting about one and another topic, having fun and looking forward to a new day where they will face some new problems but will find some new reasons to fight with them too.

In Abhimanuyu and Nandini's room

Nandini: - "Abhi, khanna khane nahin chalna hai kya?"

Abhi: - "Hamara man nahin kar raha Nandu, hum bas raj ke bare mein hi soch rahe hain. Hum unse baat karna chahte the par unki halat dekh kar himmat nahin hui. Wo jitna marjhi normal behave kar le, par yeh aap bhi janti hai ki is waqt wo kitna toot chuke hain, aaj humhe sach me Naveen ki yaad aa rahi hai. Agar Naveen yahan hote to paka Raj ko samjha pate. Hum kuch nahin kar pa rahe hain Nandini."

Nandini: - "Abhi, aisse ghabrane se kuch nahin hoga. Naveen to kab ka ja chuka hai, par itna janti hoon ki wo bhi bas raj ki khushi hi chahta hoga; aur dekhna wo raj ka saath dega. Wo raj ko akela chood kar nahin jayega Abhi."

Abhimanyu just nodded and hugged her.

Here, Rajveer got a call from Major General Arjun Sharma, he told him about the whole steps taken by them to trace Nair and Ritu. Rajveer was confident that they will definitely get a clue this time.

Time passes like this and now, its been one month. Raj has not got much clues regarding Ritu and Nair; but one thing was sure that both of them are involved together in some activity. But Raj need some more evidences to take some action. Naveen has recovered a lot, he has started recognising people and will be better soon. He was thinking on the same thing, when he got a call from Prerna.

Raj: - "Namaste Maa, Kaisi hain aap?"

Prerna: - "Mein theek hoon Raj, tum kaise ho?"

Raj: - "Theek hoon Maa."

Prerna: - "aur Naina?"

Raj: - "Wo bhi theek hai Maa. Papa theek hain?"

Prerna: - "Haan, yahan sab theek hain. Naina pass me hai kya?"

Raj: - "Nahin Maa, Naina bahar gayi hai. Koi important baat hai to mujhe bata dijiye?"

Prerna: - "Usse bas pochna tha ki kya wo kal karwachauth ka vrat rakh rahi hai na"

Raj was shocked to hear this, but replied: - "Maa, wo to chahti hai; par mein nahin chahta. Kyunki aaj kal yahan training kafi tough hai, aur kafi problem ho sakti hai."

Prerna: - "Par Raj?"

Raj: - "Maa please."

Prerna: - "Jaisa tum theek samjho. Mein rakhti hoon."

Raj: - "Theek hai Maa, apna khyaal rakhna."

He turned to see Naina at the door, he can guess that Naina has heard everything as she is looking very shocked. Raj was about to leave the room, when Naina called him.

Naina: - "Mujhe tumse baat karni hai Raj."

Raj: - "Par mein koi baat nahin karna chahta."

Naina: - "Raj mein yeh bahut baar sun chuki hoon. Mein tumhe batana chahti hoon ki mein yeh vrat zaroor rakhungi; aur koi mujhe aisa karne se rok nahin sakta."

Raj: - "Kyun rakhna chahti ho tum yeh vrat?"

Naina: - "Yeh mera haq hai Raj."

Raj: - "Haq...tumse aur umeed bhi kya ki ja sakti hai." Saying this, he left the room. He goes in his cabin and close the door behind him.

"Aaj bhi tumne kya kaha Naina - Haq. Ek baar kehti ki hamare pyaar ki vajah se, to mein maan sakta tha; par haq. Ab ek haq hi reh gaya hai na hum dono ke beech."

This is the last conversation Raj and Naina had that time. Sometime, passed like same with nothing moving ahead. Raj was busy in various activities related with Naveen's case. Cadets were busy in their exams. Raj will randomly go to some places in last few days and will sneak out with some fake person sitting behind him.

One day, Raj was sitting with Naveen and Raj was feeding him. Raj knowingly started talking about different things.

Raj: - "Naveen, tu mucchad ko to janta hai na, tujhe pata hai jab se mein Major bana hoon uski halat buri ho gayi hai."

Naveen slightly smiled at this and Raj was happy. He decided to talk about Ritu with him.

Raj: - "Raj, tu kisi Dr. Ritu Mishra ko janta hai kya?"

Naveen stopped eating and turned his head to other side. Now, Raj was more than sure. He was about to leave when Naveen held his hand. His eyes showed fear. Raj immediately sat with him and held his hand.

Raj: - "Tu fikar mat kar yaar, ab to mujhe yakeen ho chuka hai ki yeh Ritu hi hai wo, jo mujhe teri begunahi tak le kar jayegi. Mein tujhe begunah sabit kar ke rahunga. Bas tu ab jaldi se theek ho ja, kyunki bas tu hi janta hai ki wo sare proofs kahan hai, aur hum is bare me bhi sure nahin hai ki un logon ko wo sab proofs mile hain ya nahin. Par tu chunta mat kar, agar wo proofs un ko mil bhi gaye hue na, to hum mil kar dubara sab kuch dhoond lenge; tu bas mera saath dena."

Raj turned towards Naveen and said: - "Dega na mera saath?"

Naveen nodded and Raj hugged him.

Raj came out of the room and was about to leave when Major General Arjun Sharma called him back.

Raj: - "What happened Sir?"

Major: - "Raj kal raat ko phir se triggers churaye jane wale hain?"

Raj: - "What?"
