Part 5: School For Bargaining
Finally we reached Chadni Chawk. Me and Geet separated from others. Last time when I came here I was 10. I came here with my mom. Geet and her mom came with us.
"Remember last time when we came here together we bought two dolls?" Geet asked.
"Hmm. Two dolls of Bride and Groom." I replied.😊
"I still remember mom told me she won't buy anything for me cause I had done some silly fights with her." She smiled. She pointed at two dolls. "We bought two dolls just like these."
"Hmm. I bought those for you. OMG! We used to be romantic." I smiled.😳
"Now it feels weird."😆 She smiled back. "I kept the groom doll and you kept the bride doll then." She paused for a moment. "Remember what we said back then?"😍
"Hmm. I am going to keep the bride now. I am gonna keep it till the date we get married." I smiled.😛
"Well I still have the groom doll."
"But I have lost the bride doll after shifting in Paris."
"Hmm. Guys don't like cute things. All guys give the same theory."🤔
"And girls love to keep all things of her childhood." I looked at her. "I saw that you have kept every dolls and every toys of your childhood in your showcase."😉
"Hey. All of my dolls got a name. ok? Called them by their name."😆
We both laughed.😃
"Why are we walking like zombies? Let's shop. It's girls' hobbies." She dragged me to a shop of bangles.
From half an hour she was showing me hundreds of, no no thousands of bangles and asking me which one is good. Which one is looking best on her? I answered all of them were looking good on her. She looked at me in a way like I'm the stupidest guy on the earth. None gave Maan Singh Khurana that looks before. But it was just the start.😲
After spending almost an hour on selecting bangles she finally selected 5 sets of them and asked the price of them.
"its 600." The shopkeeper replied.
I was going to pay the bill but she stopped me.
"6oo what? Its hardly 400."😡
"Geet it's ok I'm paying the bill."😊
"Shut up. Can't you see it can't cost 600." She pointed at the bangles.😳
Huh now how do I know the actual cost of it?
"Give 500." Said the shopkeeper.
"Not a rupee more than 400."😡
My job was to stand silently and try to understand what the bargaining is.
After fight of half an hour she won.
After a few minutes at a bag store she started to bargain again. She won this time too.😕
"Tell me one thing..." I cleared my throat "Do you bargain like this for everything?"😕
"Not for everything. but look at this stuffs they put price tag of double price." She turned at me "I can see they can easily cheat you."😆
"Hey! I'm editor of a economical magazine.."😎
"And you can't guess a right price of a thing." 😆She looked at me mockingly.
The Geet I used to know.. the 7year old little Geet has bloomed into a beautiful and intelligent lady. Wow!!❤️

In the next few hours she stopped at almost every shop. Bargained a lot and taught me why I should know how to bargain. Oh god! Can you imagine a beautiful girl like her is teaching an editor of an economical magazine how to bargain.🤔 If you can imagine the scene please imagine it. Cause I have no words to describe the scene. And please try to imagine how pathetic my condition was. And thne I was listening to her carefully. God knows why... The girl is making me crazy...😊

After a few hours of learning how to bargain we met others at the car. I look at Louis. His condition was as pathetic as me. Hmm. Pari had also took his class of how to bargain. We both looked at each other and gave a tired smile.😳
Geet and Pari started to talk about the history of their shopping at the car. And of course the main subject of their conversation was how stupid we do not know how to bargain. People will fool us how easily.😆
After a few minutes Louis' phone rang.
"Hey..." A smile spread on his face.. "Really?? Congrats..."
After a few minutes of talking he cut the line and turned at me...
"Guess what?"
"What? We are taking a how to bargain class?"😆
"no. a good news.. Zack is getting married."
"Well so what the good news is?"❓
"He is marrying Charlie." His smile grew wider. "I can't be happier."😃
"You know I have not seen a guy like you who partied after his girlfriend broke up with him and now getting exited to hear the news of wedding of ex girl friend." I rolled my eyes.
"Charlie was your ex girl friend?" Pari interrupted us.
"hmm." Louis replied.
"And you broke up with her?"
"No he waited for her to break up with him. And gave a huge party." I explained.😆
"It means after breaking up with me you will give a party too?"😕
"No. I won't break up with you. I will wait for you to break up with me." Louis jocked.
"It means you are waiting for me to break up with you?" 😕Pari exclaimed.
None had answer to this. All were dumbstruck. After a few silent moments Geet spoke "Pari, he is joking."
Louis looked at Geet and they both forced a smile.
Geet decided to change the subject
"Louis... What do you think about bollywood films?"😊
"I love them... But sadly I have seen only few bollywood films."
"Then let's go to my home. I'm gonna show you guys the best bollywood film ever." Geet smiled at us.😊

We are at Geet's home. Ready with popcorn and cold drink to watch the movie. Geet declared the name of the movie. "Rang De Basanti." I had seen the movie before once.
We were all enjoying the movie. And the movie dealt with history. I wasn't a student of Hisrory but I have a great interest in history.
I loved the scene when DJ I mean Aamir Khan in the movie didn't know the British girl knew Hindi. And he said so many thing about her in front of her thinking she can't understand it. Imagine the embarrass state of him.😳 Result of over confidence.😆
Suddenly Pari started to laugh uncontrollably. 🤣 Like some one has spread laughing gas on her.🤣
"Shut up." Geet elbowed her.😡 "You know it's my favorite movie don't disturb me now." She sounded being irritated. She looked at me. "I hate it when some one irritates me when I'm watching this film." She smiled at me.😊 I smiled back.
At the end of the film we all were silent. The film always left a strange effect on me. I guess it left the same effects on others.
Geet broke the silence between us.
"So you guys know the planning of tomorrow?"
"Hmm. We are going to see Tajmahal." I replied.
"Wake up early. We are going to set our journey to Agra as soon as possible."
