Chapter XXII
Raichand mansion, dehradun
Abhay went as fast as he could to his mansion to inform his family about the unknown slayer. Aleena also rushed as fast as she could as her brother had called on a short notice and this was only when something is very important.
Chand: abhay, what is so important?
Abhay: a slayer is on trail…. I guess he is behind piya….
Haseena was alarmed: what? Piya…. Why? She is only human….
Aleena: bhai…. How are you so sure? Piya is a mere human and doesn't know anything about super naturals….
Abhay: I also know…. Actually someone had destroyed her mother's photos and her cupboard and she thought it was me…. That's why she was behaving so different and she confronted me so I went to find any clue that who actually did this…. And when I went to her room in the hostel, I easily caught the scent and it was the entirely of the slayer….. But one thing is very confusing?
Haseena: what, abhay?
Abhay: mom, if the slayer is behind piya then why did he destroy her mother's photos?
Chand: abhay, we need to find everything about this slayer and piya…. How they are connected but you have to be careful….
Aleena: bhai, I can find info on piya and her mother, but I want to tell one thing that I got a vision that is so not good….
Chand: aleena, what's the vision?
Aleena: dad, I saw superiors…. Hannah and Alexander coming to dehradun…. They have some motive….
Abhay: dad, you and mom went to meet them, did they tell you something? Are they really coming?
Haseena: Chand, it's time to tell them….
Abhay: what?
Haseena opened up as Chand nodded in permission: we went for a meeting with the superiors, they wanted to have a check on both of you and they want to inform you both about some immediate dangers so they will be coming day after tomorrow….
Aleena: I knew it…. I don't like them…. Especially that loquacious…. I wish I could shut his mouth forever….
Chand: aleena, behave…. He is a superior and only Hannah and Alexander are coming so behave in front of them…. And there is something more to it….
Abhay: now what?
Haseena: they want to meet piya…. They got information about you and her by someone and they want to check her without telling her….
Abhay: what? You mean they want to meet piya basically…. I just want to rip the head of that creature who told all this to them, mom, you know that those superiors are non-vegetarian and piya's blood is so potent, what if they drink her dry? Mom, can't we do something else, what if they don't accept piya? What if….
Chand: abhay, don't go all panic… we have talked to them and there is nothing serious, it is just a simple meeting and nothing will happen to piya….
Aleena: okay…. Dad but today there is a small party organized by principal to felicitate the winners of the youth festival and I and bhai will return late….
Abhay: I will come afterwards, just need to find that slayer right now…
As abhay went away, aleena also went her room. She quickly took out her dress that she was to wear in evening and packed her stuff in a small bag and left for the hostel to meet piya and find more about her.
Mount college, dehradun
Piya returned back to her hostel and freshened up. She was thinking about last night and suddenly she remembered those photos which she found in abhay's cupboard. She quickly opened those photos in her mobile and then connected her mobile to her laptop and transferred them to her laptop. She googled those photos through Google images but nothing serious came except that they didn't belong to this time period.
Piya: how can this happen? These look ancient but how can this be possible? Something's majorly wrong…. I have to find it soon…..
Suddenly aleena interrupted: piya, what do you need to find soon? May I help you?
Piya quickly shut her laptop and lied: aleena, my cupboard and photos…. I need to find who did this…. Of course you can help me.
Aleena could easily feel that abhay was right that a slayer was here: okay but before that we need to clean your stuff.
Piya: yeah…. But why did you come? Do you need something?
Aleena: actually abhay said that you were not feeling good so I came….
Piya: thanks yaar….
Soon with the help of aleena, piya settled her room again.
Aleena: phew…. That was quite straining, Hun…. Piya can you show me those photos so that I can help you….
Piya brought the envelope and gave it to aleena: yeah…. Sure…
As soon as aleena saw them she understood that they were burnt by magic which only ancient slayers are able to do. Aleena relayed all the info she got about this matter to abhay mentally.
Aleena thought: so this is an ancient slayer…. There is no ashes, that means it was all magic….. But why this slayer destroyed only sugandh's face…. I have to find it….
Aleena: piya…. Did your mother have any enmity with someone?
Piya: no…. my mom was so peaceful and calm…. She loved everyone and could never have any enemy….
Aleena thought: so piya doesn't know anything about her mother….
Aleena: okay…. Now leave it…. It's time we get ready for the party….
Piya: aleena, you can use my bathroom till then I select something for myself….
Aleena: thanks…. Let me just change and come…
Aleena went to change and came out in few minutes. She found piya juggling with lots of dresses and started laughing.
Aleena: piya…. What is all this? We cleaned it all and you did it again….
Piya: hey…. Help me…. I am not able to find something suitable….
Aleena: okay let me choose….
Aleena went near the pile of clothes and picked a beautiful green flowing gown for piya.
Aleena: this would surely work…..
Piya took it in her hands and hugged aleena: thanks…. You really came to my rescue…. Let me go and change it….
Piya came out of the bathroom in the gown looking like a real princess draped in that gown. Aleena was in awe with piya's beauty. She went and put some light lip gloss and wore matching stilettos with it. Both of them soon left the room for the party. piya's dress and stilettos

Principal had organized a small party for the winners of youth festival. Everyone was happy about it and looking forward to it. Abhay had already reached the party hall and was searching for aleena and piya. Abhay was as usual donning in his black attire. Misha came near him.

Misha: where are the two singer ladies? Dono kahan hain…. Abhi tak aayi kyon nahi….
Abhay: aleena piya ke sang ayegi…. They must be taking their time to get ready….
Misha: okay…. Let's dance till then…
Abhay: you and dance misha….
Misha: what me and dance…. Can't I?
Abhay extended his hand and misha took the chance and they went to the dance floor. Abhay was good at dancing and misha tried hard to match him. Abhay was in his own world and wasn't interested to come out. Misha stepped on his feet several times and did mistakes too but abhay was too busy to give any reactions. Abhay's eyes were just fixed on the door as he was waiting for piya to come.
Misha: pata nahi piya tumhare sang kaise dance karti hai….
Before abhay could answer, he saw piya entering with aleena in her flowing green gown. She was an eternal beauty. His mouth was literally open in awe with her. Misha was waiting for answer but when she turned to see what caught abhay's attention, she saw piya coming towards them.
Misha clicked her fingers before abhay: dude, muh band karo…. Varna makhi ghus jayegi….
Abhay closed his mouth: yeah…. I was just….
Misha: never mind…. I know…..
Aleena and piya approached both of them.
Aleena: bhai…. Misha…. Tum dono ek saath…. Dance….
Piya: misha, tumhe dance karna aata hai….?
Abhay: nahi, isse bas mere pair pe chedhna aata hai…. She stepped on my feet 7 times….
Misha: no…. liar…. Only 6 times…
All of them started laughing and soon the principal came on the stage to make the announcements.
Principal: I am really glad to have so talented students like you all…. You are the gems of the mount college and you all proved it…. But I specially want to felicitate two of our students…. Mr. Abhay raichand and Ms. Piya jaiswal for their outstanding performances…. Please give them a huge round of applause….
Panchi came on the stage: now…. We need a special dance from both of you…. All of us want it….. Right guys…
Soon the lights were turned off and only a spot light was on piya. She was dazzling like an angel in the spotlight. Abhay came near her and offered his hand and she accepted it. Both of them twirled and waltzed elegantly in the spotlight. But abhay could feel that piya was not dancing the same way she used to. It was like he was dancing with a porcelain doll which was just following his instruction as they danced. It was so un-piya. Soon their dance was over and the whole hall was filled with thunderous clapping. This time there was no sign of happiness on piya's face but only emptiness inside. How could she be happy when her heart was bleeding inside?
Slowly piya left the spotlight and went to a corner where the drinks were served. Kabir and panchi were also sitting there and they joined her.
Panchi: that was incredible piya…. Pure magic….
Kabir: champ…. You did a great job in mussorie and here also…. I am besotted….
Piya: thanks….
Panchi (whispered to Kabir though piya listened it): waise Kabir…. Did you notice that piya is changing…. I guess she is falling…. Who aur abhay kitne achche lagte hain saath mein…. Perfect couple….
Kabir smiled in return but suddenly piya left them and went on the other side of the drinks corner. She ordered tequila to ease herself down. She wasn't a drinker but now she couldn't take it anymore. She ordered one…. Two… three…. Four…. Five…. Six times and would haven't stopped if jay hadn't called her. She quickly collected herself and went out in the garden to take the call.

An ancient vampire behind piya…. But why he burnt her mother's photos???
Everyone wants abhay-piya to be a couple except themselves…. Piya in a total devdas mode… Jay called piya…. Is it something new or normal…? So vampire meeting with piya would be in the next-to-next chapter and guys there is a SURPRISE for all of you in the next chapter…. Guess is it GOOD or BAD??????
