Midnight had brought him to this majestic place where all the nocturnal beings were welcome within this haven surrounded by the green forrestry. Abhay Raichand had entered no mans land all alone. He had been living alone for so long he'd forgotten how to interact with human beings. 20 years had passed since the death of his family. He wasn't accustomed to living it wild for a long time. He preferred his own company. The night had become his friend while the moon had given him comfort. Yes the night was his salvation. It was a time when he was at his most free to roam around. This town had called to him for reasons unknown to him. He usually followed wherever the call was the greatest to him. He breathed in the smell of fresh animal blood to hunt. Abhay was on the run from his past and hoped it didn't follow him here.
Abhay was searching for something hidden in this place. He had to get it for his species. Unfortuantely he didn't know what it was. He was simply ordered to scope it out and bring it back intact. He'd lost his father Chand in the process of aquiring such an artefact. His brother Sidharth had killed him. Abhay tightened his fists at the memory of his arrogant brother. Haseena had also lost her life thanks to their feud trying to unite the warring brothers. Abhay could hear his enemies in these very woods. They were on the look out for the ame thing. Whoever got to it first would reign supreme. So this was a race against a race. The nocturnal life was not for the faint hearted. Abhay ran as fast as he could away from the howling wolves he'd known were following him. News of his arrival must have travelled very fast.
Abhay swooped through the foresty into the heart of this new town where he remained in the shadows observing the humans from afar. He couldn't help but notice this was the first time he was going to mingle with these people. He chose to lie low and go undetected from everyones prying eyes. He saw an old lady renting out a place and headed straight for her.
Abhay softly charmed his way using his powers as a tool-I'd like to rent this place. I want it to have a minimilistic look.
The old lady smiled-Sure son. I have one just for U but it might be a little expensive.
Abhay gave a broad smile-Don't worry about the money. I'd like to pay the advance now. Here's 6 months rent all in one go in cash. Do not tell anyone about this arrangement we have.
The old lady nodded-Sure son.
Abhay hadn't been called son by anyone for a long time-And i'd like to be left alone. I don't want U checking up on me or bringing me food.
The old lady complied-Sure thing son. I hope U like your stay.
Abhay went to his room and remained observant of everyone within the 8 mile radious listening in on their conversations.
Sidharth had followed his brother all the way to this wretched place where it was all below his standards. He lived a life full of fun. He worked hard, partied hard and played hard. Little brother had escaped his clutches yet again. He was searching for him the past 20 years to finish their rivalry. It was his brother's fault that he was a vampire. He never asked for it but this is what he got. So he used it effectively. The life of a nocturnal vampire was anything but dull. He loved his powers. It was so useful for building his empire while his brother simply didn't know the joys the materialistic things could bring to ones life. It made it a little difficult to track him. Most of India had poor living arrangements and Abhay was used to hiding under the radar. Sid had to find this artefact before Abhay did. It was important for his ego and to gain the sympethy of their clan. Sidharth was shunned for killing his guardians and hence banished from the Vampire World. He had to get back in at any cost.
Sid spotted the perfect location for his new residence. It was a mansion any person would envy. Sid zeroed in on a girl he'd stalked as his supper. He was feeling rather ravenous. He wasn't going to kill her for now just use her for his amusement for now.
Sid to the girl-Hey beautiful are U waiting for anyone?
The girl batted her eyelashes at Sid-No i am very much single. U going anywhere special?
Sid mused licking his lips-Anywhere with U is special baby. Is there a place we can hang out. A club maybe where we can have fun?
The girl nodded brimming with delight-Club 9 its where all of us go to rave. U want to go?
Sid beamed-Yes. Shall we?
He drove them to Club 9 where all the College kids were already partying away.
Pia Dobrial was dancing with a gang of boys from her college with Panchi as her chaperone. While Misha was at the bar drinking CherryWhisky cocktails. It did the trick making her tipsy. She watched her sisters on the floor grooving to LMFAO Party rock anthem.
Pia raced back beaming full of energy with her brilliant smile getting out of for some fresh air. She didn't know why but she had this sudden urge to escape all the madness of the night.
Pia saw a dark shadow lingering in the night. Rather than be afraid of who it might be she followed it. Maybe the buzz had affected her brain but it was like a call. A pull in its direction.A flicker of a light drawing her in. As soon as she turns around she got to see the side of the tall figure with these amazing eyes, then the back of this stranger and the just like this he vanished.
Misha and Panchi raced out to get their dreamy sister to go home with them. Little did Pia know Destiny had called her out. Fate had already woven the first step to an EPIC journey.
