Part 21:
Geet's mouth opened wide and she thought:'What the hell?Rahul?How when?what the hell?'
The doctor came uo to her and said:'Mrs Khurana..this is the coma patients room...Mr.Khurana is opposite this room in the ICU..'
G-Hmmm...yes..
She rushed to the other side and saw Maan lying there..unconcious..tears streamed her face..her heart clenched in fear...she couldnt lose him..he was her only hope...he couldnt leave her like this but then the thought of Rahul came to her mind..how come he was here?Wasnt he dead?
D-Mrs.Khurana..we have some good news...Mr.Khurana has started responding..he is not out of danger completely but if he will wake up in a few hours..then there is hope..because he has got hurt internally and well as externall...and you cant meet him till then as he is under observation...
G-Doctor please...
D-Im sorry..you cant!
G-Okay..doctor can i know about the patient in the opposite room?
D-Well..he was bought here by some guys 3-4 months ago...and he is in coma since then we tried finding out who he was but couldnt...and we are going to pull the plug in 2 more months if he doesnt regain conciousness or we dont find his family...
G-Can I meet him?
D-Why?
G-Curious..
D-Guess it will be okay...

Geet rushed to the room and went and sat beside's Rahul
G-Rahul..i thought you were dead?Par tum?What does babaji want with me?He gave me Maan and now I found you?
She started sobbing..and thats when he heard the machines...and she felt a cold yet soft touch on her hand..and Rahul croaked:'Geet..'
Geet's eyes shot wide open..she pressed the buttons and a doctor came running...
G-Doctor...yeh woh?
D-Please go outside we need to check him...
Geet went outside..her heart beating crazily...a part of her was happy for Rahul but a part of her was feeling guilty as her promise to Rahul came back in her mind...how would he react to the news?How would she tell him about Maan and her?How would she tell him?
She looked up and said:'Babji aap kyu karte ho yeh mera saath..first you took Rahul away from me and gave me Maan..when i accepted him and was happy with him..Rahul is back??'
Then she tells herself:'Geet calm down..all you do is tell Rahul everything..nothing to worry about'
Tears formed in her eyes again..she was worried and tired so she slumped down on the nearby chair...the day had been a blur..first that talk with Karan..then Maan's accident and then Rahul?
Were the problems ever going to end?She had to tell someone about this...She took her mobile and dialed Karan's number..
G-...hello..
K-Hello
G-Karan woh yaha..Maan ka accident
K-Kya jiju ka accident?
G-Haan woh pata nahi...mein hospital aye aur yaha Maan..woh ICU...and blood..and unconcious..He's not waking up..he didnt talk to me...
K-Di..calm down...pehle aap batai jiju kaise hai?
G-Doctor ne kaha he is still in danger if he wakes up in a few hours it is okay and i cant even meet him...Karan what is happening with my life?
K-Di calm down..calm down...mein abhi ata hoon...where are you?
G-Hospital.
K-Di kaunsa hospital?
G-Umm...xyz...
K-Theek hai i will be there in 15 mins theek hai?
G-Theek hai...
As she cut the call...the doctor also came out and said:'Mrs.Khurana?'
G-Yes?
D-Well...the patient has come out of coma but is still weak we will keep him here for a few days...and he is continuosly saying Geet..Geet do you know who it is?
G-Yes doctor can i go see him?
D-Yes...you can but remember you can not give him any kind of stress as he may slip in coma again..there may be many complications..so dont tell him anything which
may harm him?
G-...
D-Mrs.Khurana?
G-I cant tell him anything which will hurt him?
D-Yes...
Geet stopped breathing...did that mean..she couldnt tell him about her marriage?Her Maan?She couldnt tell him she didnt love him anymore?She took slow steps towards
the room and entered it...she saw Rahul..he was pale but happy...
R-Geet you're here..i missed you so much...
G-...
Geet was remembering the doctor's words...and thinking what she would tell Rahul..how would she explain?She took her mobile out and dialed Rahul's parents number...
and told them everything...after that she went and sat beside Rahul...
R-Whom did you call?
G-Your parents..
R-Geet why do you look so sad?Arent you happy im alright?
G-No its nothing like that...ofcourse im happy..just a little shocked...
R-Oh...
G-Rahul you take rest i'll be back...
R-Okay...but Geet why are you wearing sindoor and mangalsutre?
Geet's eyes widened what was she supposed to tell him now?
G-Woh..Rahul meri shaadi..
And that's when Rahul's parents came and started talking with him and meeting him...and with that slowly Geet stepped out of the room...and sighed...how was she going
to tell him?But before all that she had to see Maan...she went to the doctor and asked her if Maan was awake?They said he wasnt..she insisted to meet him and finally
the doctor allowed..she rushed to Maan's room...and went and sat beside's him...She held his hand in her own...the moment she touched him..a warmth spread through
her body..she knew she was safe...and knew with Maan alright she could face anyone...tears made their way...and Geet started sobbing...
G-Maan..**sob**...Aap ne aise kyu kiya?How could you**sob** even think of leaving me?Aap ke yeh halat dekh ke..you know what i went through..it felt like i had
lost my world...cant you drive properly?I hate you..you didnt think about me once?What would i do if something happened to you?You promised me you'll never do
anything which will hurt me..what is this now?Answer me...Maan...answer me..now...
She broke down completely...and that's when she felt a hand on her shoulder..she turned to look and saw her brother standing there..she got up and hugged him..
and cried:'Karan...yeh Maan..he is not waking up...he's not even talking to me...Karan tell him to wake up na?'
K-Di..dont worry he will wake up soon..nothing will happen to him...
G-Karan...agar Maan ko kuch howa na..toh mein apni jaan de doungi baas...
K-Di..aise baate nahi karte..nothing will happen to him..doctors ne kaha na..
G-Sirf ek chance hai Karan...
**Maan's POV**
I could hear faint crying from somewhere...there was darkness all around me...I tried to search for light...but there was none...soon the crying stated getting louder..
That's when i realized my eyes were closed...i slowly opened them..that's when the crying got loud and clear..and that's when i turned my face to see who was it?
and what did I see..my wife was crying the arms of another man...that's when my blood boiled...as the memories came back to me..how she was hiding something from
him..how he saw both of them at the restaurant..how she lied to him...how she...
