Geet turned around and saw Maan's eyes were opened...she rushed to him and started kissing his face and saying:'Maan...you're okay...Maan...aap theek hain...'
She tightly hugged him and cried and said:'Maan cant you take care of yourself?..You know what I went thru?'
M-Geet yeh kaun hai?
G-Yeh..yeh mera bhai Karan hain...but usko choro aap kaise hain Maan...why did you do this?
M-Woh i was driving very fast...and didnt see the truck!!
Geet eyes spat fire...and she pulled away from Maan and said in anger:'FINE..that means you dont care about me...if you cared even a tinge you wouldnt be so carless..
did you even think about me once?Haan...aap toh MSK hoo na..you dont care about ANYONE!!'
Maan felt really bad...first he had not asked Geet anything properly and jumped to conclusions and then hadnt even thought about what Geet would go through looking at him
like that...how could he be so dumb??He didnt doubt that Geet didnt love him...but he feared that someone would take her away from him...
M-Geet..mujhe maaf kardo na?
G-Nahi..you do what you want to do...you dont care about anyone right?
Maan tried to sit up...but his ribs ached.and an 'ouch' slipped from his mouth...Geet turned around and rushed to Maan and caught his hand and asked:'Maan kya howa?'
M-Woh i was trying to get up..
G-Ek toh you hurt yourself and hurt me...then you try getting up when you know about your stiches...and know if you move you will hurt yourself..why did you move?
This proves how much you care about me...
M-So everytime you dont talk to me properly or youre angry at me all i have to do is hurt myself...
Geet got more angry...
G-So you want to hurt me?
M-Nahi Geet i didnt say that...
G-If you hurt yourself...you hurt me Maan...
M-Im sorry Geet!!
G-Maan please aap aise kabhi nahi karna...mein bohut daar gaye thi...
M-Theek hai Geet...
And Geet hugged him tightly...and stated crying...Maan was at peace all insecurities left him...
M-Geet why are you looking like a chudayl?
Geet pulled away from the hug and said:'KYAA?IM LOOKING LIKE A CHUDAYL..HOW DARE YOU MAAN..IF YOU WERENT HURT I WOULD MURDER YOU...'
M-Arey Geet chill..i was just telling you how you look..
G-MAAN DONT TEST MY PATIENCE...
M-Arey jaan mein toh mazak kar raha tha...you look really beautiful..
G-Maan aap bhi na...iss halat mein bhi mazak..
M-Aur nahi to kya..you are looking beautiful...like a chudayl..my beautiful chudayl...
G-HAWWW:O WHAT IM STILL A CHUDAYL..
M-Haan Geet lekin a beautiful one...
G-Mr.Khurana once you come home you're sleeping on the floor..
M-Geet..lekin
G-Nahii..floor...
K-Di...aab jeju ko rest karne do na...
G-Haan you're right...Maan aap rest karo mein aati hoon..theek hai?
M-Geet..stay with me..
G-Maan let me inform the doctor..i'll come back..
M-Okay..
G-Karan chalo..
K-take care jeju
M-Hmmm...
Geet and Karan left the room..Karan informed the doctors that Maan was awake...and the doctors went to check on Maan..after all that:
G-Karan woh...Rahul is alive..
K-KYA?
G-Haan..i saw him in the hospital..he was in coma..i went and saw him and he awoke..and i cant hurt him..meaning he cant know about my marriage..im in a mess Karan
K-But Di...what about jeju?
G-Thats what im worried about...
K-Di..dont tell jeju anything now..when he feels better then you can discuss it with him..
G-Thats what i was thinking..
Thats when Rahul's parents came to Geet and said:'Beta please can you do us a favour?'
G-Aunty aap kya keh rahi hai?
A-Beta..please will you do us a favour..we beg you..
G-What favour aunty?
A-Beta we told Rahul..he has lost his memory for the past two months and he has been married to you for 2 months...please go with this story till Rahul is okay..then
you can tell him the truth..
G-Aunty how can i do this?I cant lie to Rahul..and what about Maan?This is not possible..im sorry aunty..lekin..
A-Beta..please...i have stayed without my son for 2 months..please i got him after so long..i cant lose him again..Geet beta please...
The lady fell on her knees and held Geet's feet and said:'Beta please...'
Geet felt guilty...
G-Aunty dont do this...please..
A-Nahi beta i will do anything for my son..
G-Theek hai aunty i will do it but only till Rahul is unwell...
A-Thankyou beta..i can never repay you...
Rahul's parents left..while Karan stared at Geet..
G-Karan she was begging...
K-Di..what about jeju?
G-I'll tell him when he's better...
1 week later:
Geet rushed inside the hospital...she was really excited today...today was the day..Maan was getting discharged!She rushed in his room..only to see him standing and the nurse
hovering over him and opening his shirt buttons...Geet's mouth hung wide open as she rushed to the nurse and asked:'What are you doing?'
N-Madam...sir's clothes got ruined..i am helping him change..
G-How did his clothes get ruined?
N-Stitch got opened as he was trying to change his clothes..
G-So you could wait for me na?
N-Ma'am lekin..
G-Nahi..im not there doesnt mean you change my husband's clothes...
N-Madam only shirt..
G-Whatever..
Maan chuckled..Geet glared at him..he shut up...the nurse left...Geet walked up to Maan took his clothes and started changing it..
M-Geet..the nurse was only helping..no need to over-react..
G-Acha i am over-reacting?What happened that day when i didnt tell you who i was talking to?Didnt i see the colour of your face...you knew i was lying..what happened
when i told you i was at home..when you knew i wasnt...haan i know you got in the accident because you were thinkng about all this..and you know what..the reason
i didnt tell you all this was coz Karan had his papers and was in US at the time we got married and he had returned..he wanted to surprise you..but you jump to
assumptions..i know you didnt doubt my love..but you didnt like me hiding anything from you..but that doesnt give you the right to risk you life...WASNT THAT OVER-REACTING??
Maan looked down sheepisly...and said:'You knew?'
G-Maan i am your wife..i know your each and every movement...
M-Im sorry..
G-There is no need...
M-Geet please..warne mein phir se accident kardo ga...
G-Kis ka?
M-Apna...
G-Fine then remember i will also leave you forever then...
M-Geet dont talk like that...
G-Then stop it...
M-Okay jaan...
Geet blushed...
M-OMG..Geet you still blush when i call you Jaan?
G-Maan just shut up...and there you go im done..chalo i'll sign the papers and then Karan will take you home...
M-And you?
G-I have some work here...
M-What work?
And that's when the nurse walked in and said:'Ma'am woh Rahul is calling for you...and plus the doctor says we can discharge him..if you would.'
G-You can go i'll come..
N-Theek hai Ma'am...
The nurse left...and Geet said to Maan:'Maan aap jao..Karan is waiting for you..i will come..'
But before Geet could leave Maan held her hand
M-Geet what was the nurse talking about?
G-Maan aap ghar jao...i will tell you later...
M-NOW GEET...
G-Okay but promise you wont get angry...
M-I will try Geet..no promise...
G-Okay...
And she made Maan sit down and told him the whole story from the start..how she saw rahul..what happned..how from the past week she was visiting Rahul regularly...
and with each word she spoke she could see Maan's anger rising...
G-Aur aab Maan..he thinks im his wife and until he is not better...atleast for 2-3 weeks i have to pretend to be his wife..and that may also include staying over at his
house...
Maan kept quiet...
G-Maan say something..
M-Why?
G-His mother begged me...and to repay the favours they have done for me..
M-You expect me to be okay with this?
G-Maan its Rahul we're talking about...he is my old..
M-LOVER?Geet..you're married to me now..
G-Nahi Maan..not because i love him..out of respect of his mother and all that he did for me...
M-And you expect me to understand this?How can i bare seeing you being called someone else's wife...
G-Maan only for sometime...its all pretend..
M-Geet GODDAMIT YOU'RE MY WIFE..HOW CAN I TOLERATE SOMEONE ELSE SAYING YOU'RE THEIR WIFE...YOU'RE ONLY MINE...YOU ARE ONLY GEET MAAN

G-Maan its nothing like that please try and understand my situation...
M-Geet please leave me alone...i need to think about it all..
G-Maan just listen to me once...
M-Geet leave me alone..
G-Maan please..dont over-react listen to me first...
M-I SAID GET OUT...JUST GET OUT NOW..
Geet stood up shell-shocked...with tears flowing down her eyes she ran out of the room...thinking how will she convince Maan?Why was Maan behaving like that?
Inside the room..Maan was regretting what he said...and he murmered to himself:'Maan tu bhi na...you just took out you're anger on her...its not like she wants to do it...
but how can i see her with Rahul?Maan calm down and think..Geet is right..'
Outside..Geet was thinking:'Maybe Maan is right..i shouldnt do this..i mean if i see Rahul this decision is okay but what about Maan he's not at fault..he deserves to
be with his wife...'
She looked up in the sky and said:'Babji please help me..'
