Part 16:
Kripa is sitting at the beach thinking about the moments she had spent with angad. she remembers last night and how she thought it was the best moment in her life, yet she had expressed her regret to angad this morning. she felt miserable thinking about how bad he must have felt when she told him that they had made a mistake last night. she felt guilty for hurting him even more today. But what could she have done. She remembers what had happened today in her dad's hospital room, something she would never forget.
FLASHBACK:
Kripa hugs angad and goes inside the hospital. she asks the receptionist where her dad was and then went to his room. She goes in to see her dad unconcious and her mom sitting next to him. Then someone grabs her from behind and pulls her out. She turns around to see...

K: Prithvi? tum...

p: shhhh...come with me.
prithvi grabs kripa's arm and takes her to an empty room.

K: prithvi...prithvi stop it! you are hurting me!

P: me?? aur jo tumne kiya woh...what about that?

K:(in a sad voice)prithvi..I told you i'm sorry. me nahi chahti thi ke yeh sab ho jaye. lekin..angad...i really loved him. I'm sorry prithvi. I really am.

p: kripa..tumne dekha ki tumhare wajah se tumhare dad ko kya hua? its all because of you. agar tum ghar chod ke angad ke saath nahi jaati to...shayad aaj yeh sab nahi hota. woh to acha hua ke me wahi pe tha warna aaj tumhare dad to..

k: prithvi1 plzz aisa mat kaho. mere dad ko kuch nahi ho sakta.
For a moment she is silent and then she continues....
K: but prithvi..i'm very grateful to you. agar tum nahi hote to...thank you. thank you very much.

P: nahi kripa. dont get me wrong. yeh sab mane tumhare dad ke liye nahi kiya. maine apne aap ke liye kiya hai.

K: nahi prithvi. plzz dont be so modest. pata nahi me tumhara yeh favor..

p: favor? (starts laughing)

K: prithvi? yeh sab?

P: kripa maine aaj tak kuch bhi aisa nahi kiya jisse mujhe koi fayda nahi ho. agar maine tumhare saath rishta banaya to woh is liye ke tum college ki sabse popular ladki thi. ha mujhe tumse pyar hua aur shayed issi wajah se aaj me tumhe apni zindagi me wapas chahta hoon. I do love you kripa and i will never let you go. kabhi nahi. aur uss angad ke paas to kabhi nahin!

K: what? prithvi tum pagal ho gaye ho! U HAVE BECOME MAD!
I have to go. ( she starts to leave but he holds her hands and pulls her close to him)

K: prithvi? let go of me. warna mein chilaungi. I'll scream. let go of me!!!

P: tum mera kuch nahi bigad sakti kripa.
Kripa about to open her mouth to scream but he covers her mouth with his hand.

p: shhh.....chilane se pehle meri poori baath to sun lo. agar tumne kuch bhi kiya to mein tumhare dad ko...u get it? abhi tak to woh Coma mein hain lekin...
Hearing this kripa is shocked. her dad is in coma! she starts to get paranoid.
p: lekin agar tumne meri baath nahi maani to unhe coma se full stop mein pochane ke liye mujhe zyada waqt bhi nahi lagega. u understand?

K: prithvi..aakhir tum chahte kya ho? mein apne dad ke liye kuch bhi karoongi. plzz dont hurt him. plzz. i beg of you!

P(laughing): i knew there would be a day when..jab tum mere aage haath jodogi.(He gives her a smirk)

K: prithvi...plzz...

P: shhh. ab meri baath suno! tum angad se sare rishtey tod dogi aur....u will get back together with me!

k: what? lekin prithvi..

P: shut up! meri baath poori nahi hui hai.
p: tum apne mom aur dad se kahogi ke tum mujse shaadi karogi. aur waise bhi kya pata. tumhare dad hamari shaadi ki khabar sunkar theek ho jaye. kya pata?

k: nahi! mein aisa kabhi nahi karoongi! NEVER!

P: acha? to theek hai. tumhare dad ko bye keh do. kya pata kal ho na ho

After hearing this kripa is shocked. she is in tears and doesnt know what to do. on one side was her dad, whom she loved more than her own self. but on the other hand was angad, who loved her more than his life. she cant make up her mind but finally makes her decision.

k: theek hai prithvi. tum jo kahoge mein wohi karoongi. lekin tumhe bhi ek waada karna hoga. tum mere mom aur dad ko kuch nahi kahoge aur angad ko bhi kuch nahi karoge. usse uski halat pe chod donge. do you agree?

P: yeah, i agree. agar tum mere liye tina kar sakti ho. to kya me tumhare liye kya itna bhi nahi kar sakta?

kripa looks at him with tears in her eyes and she remembers every moment spent with angad. her eyes fill up with more tears. she wipes them and leaves the room to go see her dad.

Kripa walks into her dad's room and places her hand on her mom's shoulder. her mom looks at her with anger at first but then breaks down in her arms.
k: mom??mom? agar aap hi aisa karogi to mera kya hoga? mom?

m: kripa..yeh sab kya ho gaya. tumhare dad...
(she starts crying hysterically)

k:Mom plzz. rona mat. ab sab kuch theek ho jayega. maine angad ka saath hamesha ke liye chod diya hain. ab mein sirf prithvi ka saath doongi. i promise.
She says this to her mother but there are tears in her eyes.

m: kripa?? yeh sab kehte hue tumhari aakhon me aaso kyon hai? are you not happy with prithvi? aaskhir usme kya kami hai?
Kripa remembers everything prithvi said to her before. She wipes her tears.

k: nahimom. I'm happy. sab kuch theek hai.
(flashback ends)
Suddenly kripa's cell phone rings and she comes back to reality.There are tears in her eyes and she rests her head in her arms and cries immensely.

Scene 2:
Angad is on the same beach but at the other end. so kripa and angad do not see each other. but he is in the same position as her. there are tears in his eyes and pain in his heart too.
Then someone taps his shoulder and he turns around to see..

A: anita? tum yaha? i mean..hi.

an: hi angad. mein to yaha apne dosto ke saath aayi hu lekin tum yaha akele? everything ok?

A: ya. everything is fine. mein aise hi..just wanted sometime by myself.

an: is that why you have tears in your eyes?

A: nahi aisi koi baath nahi hai. i was remembering something and got emotional.

an: are you sure angad?

A: yeah anita!! i mean...dont worry about me. i'll be okay. (he gives her a fake smile)

an: okay angad..i'll see you later.
She is about to leave when she remembers something.
an: uh angad?

A: yeah?

an: can i ask you something? i mean for a favor?

A: favor? ya sure tell me.

an: woh spring concert char din mein hain.aur...uh....I dont have a date for it. so...I was thinking...agar hum saath me...

A: nahi anita! I;m really sorry lekin mein concert mein nahi aa sakta.

an: llekin kyon? i mean..its the best event in the year aur waha kripa aur prithvi bhi honge.

This reminds angad of everything again and h looks away from anita trying to control his tears.

A: plzz anita...mujhe force mat karna. I cant go. I'm sorry.

an: dekho angad..i dont know ki tum itne upset kyon ho..lekin maine socha ki shayad mein tumhari kuch madat kar doo..leki shayad tumhe meri madat ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. I'm sorry. i should have never asked. shayad mein tumhare layak hu hi nahi. bye.

A: ruko anita! plzz try and understand why i cant come. mein kripa aur prithvi..i mean...i'm sorry.

an: i understand angad! lekin tumhe aage badna chahiye. mujhe yeh to nahi pata ki tumhare aur kripa ke beech me kya hua aur mein janna bhi nahi chahti. lekin agar tum mere saath mere date ban kar chalonge to mujhe thodi khushi milegi. kya tum kissi ke khushi ke liye itna bhi nahi kar sakte?

A: (looking at anita): par...okay anita..I'll go with you.

A(thinking): aaj tak mein sab ki khushi ke liye apni khushi kurban karta raha. to aaj kyon nahi? aaj bhi mein apni marzi ke khilaf jakar kisi ko khushi dene ke liye khushi karoonga.

an: thnx angad! thnx so much. i promise i will not let you down. by the end of the night u will thnk me for this. i promise.

She gives angad a friendly hug and tells him that she will call him later. she leaves and angad is miserable as he does not know what to do. how will he be able to see kripa and prithvi together?

Scene 3: kripa is driving remembering all the things that have happened. by now her tears have dried up but the pain is still there. She gets home and goes inside. She is surprised to see her mom there.

K: mom??? aap? maine socha tha ke aap aaj hospital mein..
m: ha lekin nurse ne kaha ke meri waha rehne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai to..i just came home. kripa i have missed you so much.
She hugs kripa and kripa hugs her back but this time she breaks down in her mother's arms.

m: kripa? kya hua? plzz dont cry. tumhare dad ko kuch nahi hoga. i promise. mein unhe kuch nahi hone doongi. okay?
But kripa doesnt stop crying.

K: mom pata nahi mere saath yeh kya ho raha hai? aisa kyon hota hai mom jab aap ko do logo mein se kisi ek ko chunna padta hai. pata nahi mein jo kar rahi hu woh theek hai ya nahi lekin me dad ko kuch nahi hone doongi.kuvh nahi mom...NOTHING!

m(sensing that something is seriously wrong0: kripa? yeh sab tum kya keh rahi ho? kya chunna pada tumhe? is everything alrite? kripa???
Kripa looks at her mother and is unable to hide the truth anymore.

k(crying hysterically): mom.....prithvi ne..
She tells her mom everything and her mom is shocked at hearing his. how could prithvi do this? how could he be so harsh?

m: thts it kripa! mein abhi prithvi ko phone karti hoon. how dare he? woh aisa kabhi nahi kar sakta. never!
She goes to the phone but kripa stops her.

k: nahin mom! aap usse nahi jaanti. woh ek jaanvar hai. agar ap usse kuch kahengi to woh dad ko aur bhi dikh pochayega. hum kuch nahi kar sakte mom! maine bohot socha iss bare me lekin...nahi mom aap usse ye nahi bata sakte ke ap ko sab kuch pata hai! no mom!

m: lekin kripa...mein nahi chahti ki meri aankon ke saamne tumhari zindagi barbad ho jaye.

k: dont worry mom! mein ye natak sirf tab tak karoongi jab tak dad theek nahi ho jaate. jab dad theek ho jayenge aur apne aap ki suraksha kar sakenge..I will teach him a lesson mom. mein usse hamare saath aisa nahi karne doongi. never!

M: lekin beta..angad?

k: angad? pata nahi mom ke mere aur angad ke beech me kabhi kuch theek hoga bhi ya nahi. lekin me usse kuch bhi expect nahi karti. agar woh mujhe kabhi bhi maaf nahi karega to..I'll be okay with that. maine usse bohot dukh diya hai mom. aur waise bhi main hamare bhalayi liye kuch bhi kar sakti hu mom. shayad angad ko bhi chod sakti hoon. (with tears in her eyes she wispers) angad ko bhi chod sakti hoon....

She runs to her room crying. In her room, she stands at the window and looks at the moon. She looks at the moon and remembers the time she spent with angad on the beach when they fell asleep in each other's arms. she remembered how beautiful that moment was between them. even though they hadnt confessed their love for each other. she knew that she was in love with him. She closes her eyes and tries to remember each and every moment of that night.

At the same time, angad is shown at the beach staring at the moon. There are tears in his eyes too and he tries to remember the same night as well.

In the background the song " kaisa yeh pyaar hai" (slow version) is going on.

coming up: ok guys there are 4 days till the concert and so i will be writing each part like it was one day. but dont worry. the future is all good.
