Angad turned around to see who was calliing him. as he turned around, his smile faded and an expression of shock adn hatred took over. Angad just looked at her and kripa did the same. Then kripa smiled and asked angad who she was. He didnt reply. She asked him again and angad then turned his face away from that person to look at kripa.

A: no one. just an old friend.

K:(whispers) Friend? well.....introduce us

(someone = s)

s: so angad? who is this? wont you introduce me to her?

Angad looked at her with anger and then put his arm around kripa and pulled her towards him

A: this is Kripa.......my fiance and the love of my life

K:(smiling coz she dint know what to do) Hi!

S: kripa? hi.....I'm.....

A(interrupting): this is Simone.....an old FRIEND

Kripa just smiled at Simone as simone gave an evil smile to angad.

S: So angad....what brings you to the reunion? I didnt know you graduated. As long as i remember, we were in the same class two years ago. remember how we.....

A:(interrupting again): yeah i remember. how can i forget? I remember everything

K: so simone.....what are you doing here?

S: I'm here with my boyfriend. Remember Neeraj, angad?

Angad just looked at her and then looked away in anger.

K: neeraj? is that another friend of yours angad?

A:(looking at simone as she smiles at him again) No. he's not my friend

K: what?

A: I mean....I barely know him. just met him once.

Kripa felt something was wrong as angad grabbed her arm and left the place after saying bye to simone. Why was angad behaving in this way? she had to find out why. Angad just made kripa get into the car and he was about to start the car when kripa stopped him.

K: angad? hum kaha ja rahe he? we have to wait for aaliya. she's still in there.

A:(getting irritated): so? aaliya is not a kid. she can take care of herself. and sahil is with her too.

K: sahil? angad youre her brother. how can you just leave like that? you are responsible for.......

A(yelling): No!!! I am not responsible for anything. you get it???

K(shocked): angad..........tum aise kyon baath kar rahe ho mujhse? maine kya kiya?

A( calming himself down and taking a deep breath): look....im really sorry kripa but.....I dont know what happened.

K: is it simone?

A: simone? nahi to...why would I...

K(interrupting): then why were you behaving so rudely? I mean you didnt even smile when you were talking to her

A:(not knowing what to say): woh.....its just that........woh ek achi ladki nahi hain....

K: what do you mean?

A: she....she broke someone's heart and left him to suffer

K: broke someone's heart? who are you talking about?

A:(looking away): my............my friend!

K: you friend?

A: yeah. my fried. he thought he loved her but she played with his emotions and left him to suffer the pain and the tears.

K: really? wow...she looks like such a nice girl. i cant even imagine how she would do that...........

Then there was a moment of silence

K(looking at angad and then looking away with a few tears in her eyes): angad.............

A:(looking outside the window also in tears): hmmm?

K: am i like simone too?

A(suddenly looking at her): kripa!! please aisa phir mat kehna

K: maine bhi to prithvi ke saath waisa hi kiya. i left him to suffer too. to kya mein bhi simone ki tarah....

Angad suddenly hugged her as tears kept pouring from his eyes.

A: kripa please....aisa phir kabhi mat kehna.NEVER!

A(thinking): kripa agar tumne kabhi woh kia jo simone ne kiya tha to me mar jaaoonga......please dont ever leave me.

As tears rolled down their cheeks, they hugged each other, wishing that this moment would freeze and they could remain like this forever. After a while, angad let kripa go and started driving the car. He put the radio and music played.

As teh song ended, they reached the gates of the Khanna Mansion. Kripa and angad got out of the car without saying a word. They quietly went to their room. Kripa went to change as angad sat on his bed trying to get all his thoughts together. Then the past suddenly conquered his mind. He began to remember everything that had happened in his life three years ago.

He had met this beautiful girl at his first year in college. She was the most sweetest and the most nicest girl in college and he felt lucky for being her friend. He knew he had started having feelings for her but he didnt want to say anything.. He didnt want to lose her friendship. But slowly as they got to know each other, his confidence level increased and at the prom at the end of freshman year, angad proposed to Simone. and when she said yes, he thought that he was the happiest man in the whole world. As time went on, angad's dreams just kept building on. He dreamt of spending the rest of his life with Simone. At this point in his life, he had everything planned out. He was going to become a singer and live the rest of his life with Simone.He used to sing at the club near college and slowly he became famous. Everyone wanted to hire him and he loved this fame.

When the demand for "THE ANGAD KHANNA" increased, angad decided to make his next move. But right when he was supposed to propose to Simone, he got the biggest shock of his life. On their 1-year anniversary on prom night, Angad was all set for his move with the most gorgeous diamond ring he could find. He had everything planned out. He was waiting for Simone at the party when he saw something he would never forget. The most horrid scene, like a nightmare. He saw Simone enter the party with the new guy in college. She had her hand in his and she walked into the room completely ignoring angad, like he never meant anything to her. But all angad was capable of doing rite now was look at them. After looking at them for a while, angad couldnt take it anymore. how could he see his girl in someone else's arms. When he saw Simone sitting alone at the bar, he went up to her.

A: simone.....

S(turned to look at him): oh hi angad!

A: ur drunk?

S: drunk?? ofcourse not. I'm just having fun!

A: fun? and what do i mean to you? was I "fun"?

S:(smiles and this makes angad even more angry): no honey.....you were so much more than just fun. I mean....you always make me smile. No! not smile....you make me laugh. I feel like laughing at you. i mean how can someone be so naive? maine aaj tak tumhare saath sirf mazak kiya....aur tumne? oh my god..youre just too hilarious. how could you think I loved you?

A: and what about everything we promised each other? that we would live together forever!! what happened to that Simone?

S(smirks): promise? promises are meant to be broken....and mind you Mr. Khanna........NOTHING IS FOREVER!!

As these words revolved in his head, Angad came out of his past. These words tormented him. He could still feel the pain that simone had left him.The wound was healed but the scars would remain forever. He had thought that he would never be able to fall in love again, but as kripa entered his life, those feelings arose again. He felt more that he had felt for Simone, a lot more.Kripa had made his love for music come back to him. after simone had left him, he had stopped singing. His inspiration was dead. but kripa had made him live again, his music live again. He felt like he was the most luckiest man in the whole world for getting someone like kripa., who cared for him and loved him to the extent that he forgot his past for the few weeks he was with kripa. But he was scared, scared of losing kripa like he had lost Simone.

As these thoughts lingered in his mind, he heard a finger snap in front of him. when he got out of his trance, he saw kripa sitting in front of him, smiling but still feeling a little low.

K: kya hua angad? tum itne.....why are you so sad?

A: nothing kripa.....I want to ask yo for something

K: me? what do i have that you want

A:you have everything I want....kripa I want you to promise me something.

K: promise?

A: yeah. i dont want you to prmise me that you will always be with me. But I want you to promise me that you will never break any of your promises. Promise me that no matter where you are, you will always love me.....promise me kripa!

K:(looking into his teary eyes): I PROMISE TO LOVE YOU FOREVER ANGAD!!!

These words brought hope to angad. He felt like he could live his life withour worying about losing kripa.....but there was still some anxiety....anxiety of losing his purpose to live again........but he was sure of one thing, that no matter where he was, he would always love kripa...unconditionally!
