Perfect …Moonlit sky ….n a beautiful gurl in those strong arms

But Vidit was annoyed …really annoyed …first becoz of her dress …his shirt too became mud ridden … n second he had no choice but to carry her in his arms …everybody was looking at him …n to make the matter worse …her mom was calling him non stop … she was worried for her daughter …n phew his patience was giving up on him

Without looking at the crowd …he made his way to the main road ….he dint have a car right ….so had to use some public transport means to reach the given address ...somewhere in NOida… This was quite far away frm Cannaught place where he found her.

Finally he decided to hire a taxi to noida …but since it was night n that too late night ..so obviously they were charging a bit too much …finally one taxi agreed for Rs 500 …Vidit was somehow relieved … now the only task was to find her house n dump her there .

In the taxi he tried to make her sit …but she wasn't able to sit n every time he made her sit …she would fall into the space between the front n back seat …

" jaldi karo saahab …nahi to waiting ka extra charge lagega" ….hehe it was almost 5 minutes …..n the taxi driver began blabbering ..

Finally...Vidit himself sat next to her to support her head on his shoulders ….now she dint fall …hehe…but as the taxiwala started the taxi with a jerk …she fell in his lap..

" AARAM SE CHALA YAAR !!" ….he cursed the taxi driver

Her smooth silky strands complemented her smooth glowing skin perfectly …he cudnt help to stare ……it was the first time he actually noticed her …perfect pout …big eyelashes …a small adorable chin …n sharp features …she was jus so attractive...The phrase "Looks can be deceiving" proved so true here …her innocent face told a different story n her karms …haha lets nt talk about it….thinking of the previous encounters with the lady …Vidit thought that looking at the roads would be better …he dint look at her after that ..rather directed the taxi driver to take the shortest possible route …

After reaching Noida n finally after some more mehnat for half n hour …. Finally he found her house …the house was on the first floor …

"TING TONG" …he rung the bell …

The lady rushed to open the door …she was a middle aged woman in her late 40s …she was very worried n seeing her daughter safe …she finally took a relieved breath …

" Thank you so much …Please please come in" …said her mother in a very friendly manner …anybody wud say that she seemed to be a very nice woman …

Vidit genuinely smiled at the lady …n then safely put the gurl on the sofa …

" She is alright …just got a bit too much drunk …that's why fainted …nothing serious maam "

" Oh If u were nt there …pata nhi aaj kya hota …" …it seemed like she wud cry any moment ...n then she burst into tears …

" I trusted her so much …I never thought she cud do any such thing …"

Vidit felt like comforting her …but since he dint noe her ….he thought it wud be better to change the topic at least

" Ek glass paani milega "

As the lady went inside ..he looked at the house …it was nice n perfectly clean …her house wasn't very big …jus like the house of middle class people should be…but the neatness impressed him…the white curtains were jus wow

Then as the lady came with a glass of water …he drank it ..n bidding her good night left for his place …finally the job was done …n it was already 1 am

On his way Vidit did think ..that the gurl belonged to a simple middle class family ..n her mother seemed to be really grounded n lady with values ...he himself grew up in a middle class family n knew the inhibitions … how his mother got worried when Priya dint cum back frm college at time …even her getting late by 5 minutes got her nerves …n this girl was all drunk n nt in her senses n the time he reached her place was almost 1am …he understood what her mother would have probably gone through all this while …he wondered what's wrong with this gurl ..that she is doing such things which made her mother so hurt n broken …n then a thought came which made him numb for a while …what was wrong with him that he hurt his mom n dad so much …they detested saaraa for his good …n He ……………………..

As soon as he reached home …without wasting a single moment ….he jus drifted into sleep

Next day ….at saira's place …

Madam was undergoing a serious hangover session …n seeing herself at her home …frightened a hell out of her ….she wasn't in her flat with Prachi …but in her home …how…oh well last night …professor …yeah he asked for her parent's number …then she fell in mud n sometime later fainted …as she heard footsteps reaching towards her room …her heart began to beat faster n faster …wats gonna happen now …

Her mother entered the room n dint care to even look at her …jus put a glass of water there with saradon n began to leave the room

"Mumma"…she said softly

"Aur kya kya karne lagi ho mere peeth pichche " …her mom jus cudnt stop her tears

" mumma please mat ro …"

" Kyun na roun main …tumhaare papa se to waise bhi koi umeed nahi …n nw u …oh god why dis happens to me …what wrong have I done …I trusted u always …n tum ye sab kar rhi thin… I should have thought why ur result is getting affected …even after all these problems I thought koi baat nhi meri beti hai na …mujhe sahara dene k liye …why dint I think k shayad meri kismet mein zindagi bhar rona hi likha h ..koi nhi sochta mere bare mein" …. She was crying non stop

Saira 's eyes brimmed with tears …a sudden sense of guilt took over her …she was so engrossed in her fun filled life that she dint care a bit about her mother ….her mom was never at fault ..but suffered all her life n nw ..its her ….her mother's last hope to have at least some happiness ..n she ruined that too …she hurt her so much ..she made her cry …she is just so bad

Her father Mr Rajesh Mehdiratna (Ronit Roy) never loved her mother …he loved someone else n this marriage was forced on him … so he never really said a sweet thing to her mom since her marriage with him…..instead he wud find reasons to dislike her more …when after 4 years of marriage Saira took birth

…her mom made her a reason for her survival …since then …she wud try to hide all the mistakes of saira frm her dad as her father had a very bad temper ….rather she suffered herself …giving her daughter everything she wanted …best dresses …best cellphone …everything best n in return she just wanted her to study hard n have a nice career…so that she becomes independent in life

Since childhood Saira was a really shy gurl n had very sharp brain ..she wud always stand first in her class making her mumma proud …even her dad loved her a lot n always summoned to her wishes ….though he shared a very cold relationship with her mother …he never really neglected his daughter…but as Saira grew older …she felt the coldness in her parent's relationship ..n she dint really know when she started disliking her dad…her relationship with her dad grew strained n she never really thought of working over it …she jus dint give a shit … her father who was only emotionally attached to his daughter began to feel all the more miserable n the reason behind this awkwardness …well he blamed her mother n despised her all the more…

Her father had named her Sareeka …Sareeka Mehdiratna …. But to make him feel what his mother felt …she changed her name to Saira herself …in her 10^th board certificate …her Dad felt very bad ..but dint talk straight to her about the matter …but somehow the family was united …due to her mother …

The shy Sareeka transformed into a bubbly gurl Saira …very outspoken n never really afraid of anybody …as she put it …but deep inside she was frightened of her dad's anger …she grew up seeing it …once the young saira tried to give it back to her dad … by misbehaving …in return her dad told her how much he hated her n said such things that she cried for 2 days …after that they never really talked to each other.

The situations worsened when she was admitted to college …he was concerned only bout the fee n her monthly expenditure … the loneliness of her life was filled by her only emotional support …her mother …but now as she lived in hostel ..she really dint get as much time with her mother n her mother too began to feel the pangs of despair….soon Prachi came into her life …n she got her best friend …sharing each n every detail of her life…their bond grew stronger within few months of their friendship n Saira gave it all to her friendship with her

But as the situations at home grew more tensed …Saira stopped feeling solace anywhere …Prachi was busy with her studies n she dint have only one friend ..she had a big group which Saira dint like …boring studious pple

The biggest mistake saira did …was inspite of finding solace in her mom …she found it in those final year seniors …for whom life was all about fun adventure n gurls …they befriended her n she started sharing all her family problems with them …they showed their concern which was obviously false ..n she fell for it ….only Zubin felt something for her …rest of them wanted only one thing …which precisely everybody knows …What guys want

But today …seeing her mother cry …Saira realized her mistake …she sidelined her life's only aim …to make her mother happy….for her own pleasures …how did she become so selfish …so unconcerned …she forgot what her mother went thru all these years …

" Kaun the wo ladke …kahin kisi ke sath tumhara kuch …" …her mother cudnt even complete …

" nahi mumma …aisa kuch nhi hai …wo bas dost hain …achche ladke hain …mujhe bohot ache se samajhte hain …meri help bhi karte hain …."…Saira too began crying

" What help ..last night u jus escaped something terrible ..if that man dint cum to u rescue …u know what had happened…U gt drunk with those guys …ye achche ladke hain ..tell me … if they r good y they made u drink so much …U don't know what guys r like ..ur innocent beta ..but they r nt …..I dun want u to befriend any of them …if u do …then I l break every relation with u "

" Mumma please ab aap to aise mat bolo ..papa to pehle hi chhod chuke hain …ab aap bhi …mera kya hoga …please mumma …I noe its my mistake …I l do wat u want mom ..please for god sake dun say such things …I love u mumma …nobody in this world is more important than u …I l break my friendship with them ..its no big deal…ur my world maa"

Saying this she hugged her mom tightly …. As if she was never going to let her go …her mom hugged her back

" Beta ..m afraid of only one thing in life …what happened to me should not happen to u ..may u get the best husband of this world ..but if my fears come true ..I never want ..but …u noe …for that …I wanted u to have the best job ..a very nice career ..if u l be independent ..even if u wud land up with the same fate as me ..u l get away frm that man …n be able to start a new life …unlike me "

She took a deep breath n continued

" N for that to happen …u have to study real hard …n get the best job …because u noe u have it in u … "

" Yes mom…I promise u …I l get the best placement …u dun worry …trust me … n m nt going to break it dis time mommy …" …She hugged her hard

"This time U broke my trust …I wont trust u " …her mom separated frm her

Folding her hands …her mom continued

" U will be living with us frm now on …you are not going to that flat …M I CLEAR"

" But mom …college is quite far away …hw wud I manage "

" Its ur trouble …u l be traveling in metro …I l tell ur dad when he comes ..that ur going to stay with us like before …today we l go n take your things frm ur flat " …her mom's expression was stern

Saira nodded in a yes … the trust she lost …she has to build it anyhow …whatever it takes …she wanted to see her mom happy …she dint want to become the reason for her mom's sufferings

Next day went in shifting back to her home …bidding gud bye to Prachi as her room mate ….n msging all her friends …to not try to contact her further …as she wants to concentrate on her studies now …there were amny why ..how what ..but she dint reply

On the other hand …Vidit was in big trouble …within a week he had to repay a loan of 1.5 lacs …even his FD had mere 50 thousand rupees …all thanks to the pompous marriage expenditure …even if he broke his FD …it cudnt help him with the loan Repayment …monthly salary well only 30 thousand …as he was a new faculty …the whole day he looked worried n tensed …he was lost somewhere ….even the class wasn't enjoying as earlier.. Priya knew reason ..but she knew her brother too …asking him to talk to Ram would further aggravate the situation …as Vidit's self respect wud get hurt …n making him talk to dad was next to impossible …as his dad had already broken all his relationship with him…

After the college got over …Vidit went to meet some of his friends who were executives in good companies …when he sometime back told them bout his problem … they asked him to talk to their company's ED regarding the job of training the new joining candidates .the pay was also gud …so he tried his luck for this side job

Although the EDs were impressed with him ..but they put the condition that he has to join as a permanent employee …n remain in the office frm 9 to 5 like regular job employees n guide the trainees…rather than a part time job

now this was again a problem …leaving a secure job at the college jus dint seem right

So he rejected the offer …Vidit dint feel so helpless all his life …he was in one depressing situation …. He dint sleep the whole night …his mind was blank …there seemed to be no way out .

New day brings new hopes …n for some new day is a refreshing start …. Saira got ready for her college …n a new life with the aim to make her mom happy for ever n ever

Vidit woke up restless …he dint know what was going to happen after the week ends ..when people wud knock his door for the money …wat was he going to do …he dint even have his breakfast ..jus went to college like dat ..even after much pleading frm Priya to have atleast something before going to college

Saira was very very nervous …its been long that she attended to classes …she was fidgeting all thru ..as she reached her class ..it was almost empty …she was before time …so she just ran to the nearest desk n sat down ..the class was surprised to see this new visitor …n so was the lecturer..

As she saw Saira …she asked sternly

" Saira mehdiratna ….right ?"

"Yes maam " …oh she was so nervous

" this is your first class in this semester ?" …the teacher's expression became all the more harsh

" Yes " …she said softly

"Well then …Leave this class at once …first let ur parents come n talk to me ..only then I l allow u in my class n also in semester exams …do u get that right !!"

The whole class was making fun of her …in suppressed voices …its not daily that a final year student is insulted like that …Saira quietly took her bag ..n got out of the class …but she dint sit like that …when the next class started ..she was again there at the class entrance …

"May I come in"

But again the same reply ..first call ur parents …. Then we will think …with such a bad impression what else cud she expect …but she dint lose hope …n waited for the third class to begin

But as she saw the person who was going to take the next class …her breath stopped…It was Professor Vidit Ahuja …he hated her dint he …n after what she did at the staffroom …

ye to dhakke maar ke nikaalegaa class se …she thought

She felt like she is totally paralised …n unable to speak a word ..the same saira who jus dint think before wagging her tongue …was unable to even stand on her own legs

He entered the class …trying to suppress all the worries

Fidgeting hard she made her way to the class …

" May I come in Sir " ….she asked softly ..her eyes trained to ground n tightly shut …for she knew what his reaction was going to be …but

" Yes "

She cud not believe her ears …she looked at him straight in his eyes …n he smiled back in return

Her fascination towards him grew even more …she jus looked at him dreamily …

" Please come in " …. He said again to knock her out of this trance

She smiled slightly n finding a vacant seat …sat there

The lecture wasn't quite awesome ..as he seemed lost somewhere …but she wasn't really bothered about the lecture ….all she did was looking at him non stop

As the class got over …n he bagan to leave the class she ran after him…

" SIR"

He turned back …

"yes"

Now she forgot ..exactly what she was going to say …damn ..she is such a nut head …oh yes

"M sorry for that day sir …I shouldn't have said such things at all " …she somehow managed …her heart was beating faster n faster …

He dint have any expression ….but still he said

" Good that u realized!!"

He again turned to go away …

"SIR "

He stopped but dint turn this time ….

" Thanks for saving me that day "
